These teams are no strangers to one another, as they met twice last season, including a playoff meeting in the ATL. The Falcons covered both meetings a season ago, losing 26-24 at Seattle in October as the +7 point underdog, and then beating up on the Seahawks, 36-20 at the Georgia Dome in the playoffs en-route to representing the NFC in the Super Bowl last February.
That was LAST season though, and things are a bit different this time around for both clubs. Seattle is very banged up as they hit the field tonight, while Atlanta has won only twice (last week at home against the depleted Cowboys) in their last five games contested.
I will side with Seattle tonight, as my feeling is the Seahawks have a little more heart than the Falcons - at least this year. I give the nod to Russell Wilson over his counterpart Matt Ryan, and you cannot overlook the strong home field advantage the Seahawks bring into this matchup. Not only that, but Seattle has had a few extra days to get ready for this one, as they last played in that Thursday night win (push ATS) at Arizona their last last time out.
Not sold at all on the Falcons this season, and the fact this game is priced so close to a pick gives me no temptation to grab the underdog at all.
12th Man makes the difference tonight. Back Seattle at home over Atlanta.

I'm not buying into the Knicks being anything more then mediocre team and the Clippers are desperate having lost 8 straight games and really need this one tonight.
