I had my eye on the Lakers in this matchup after they pulled out that big road win at Philadelphia on Thursday. That's the kind of win that can get a team going. More than anything, I'm not a big fan of this Hornets team. Charlotte is just 1-6 in their last 7 and are in a brutal spot here playing on no rest after an overtime game last night, where they lost to a Bulls team that's arguably the worst team in the league. With Kaminsky and Zeller both out with injuries and Jeremy Lamb questionable with a ankle injury, I just don't think Charlotte will have enough gas in the tank to be competitive here. Note that all 5 starters logged at least 33 minutes, with 4 of the 5 racking up at least 42. I'll take the points, but I really like LA to win here outright.

The Chicago Bulls are in a very difficult situation here. They just ended their 10-game losing streak with a 119-111 (OT) victory at Charlotte. Look for them to take a sigh of relief now and relax after ending that skid.
But the Bulls will also be fatigued, obviously. They will now be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back and their 3rd game in 4 days. Robin Lopez played 43 minutes, Kris Dunn 4, Justin Holiday 39, Lauri Markkanen 34 and David Nwaba 32 last night. They aren’t going to have much left in the tank tonight, especially after the long flight from Charlotte back to Chicago.
Meanwhile, the Knicks come in well-rested and ready to go. They have had two days off since a 99-88 home win over Memphis on Wednesday. They just recently got a healthy Kristaps Porzingis and Enes Kanter back in the lineup. They’ll be looking to exploit the tired Bulls here Saturday night.
The Knicks simply own the Bulls, going 5-0 SU & 5-0 ATS IN the last five meetings, winning all five games by 8 points or more. New York is 7-2 ATS in its last nine vs. a team with a losing record. The Knicks are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a win of more than 10 points. Bet the Knicks Saturday.

I'm laying the points with the NY Knicks on Saturday. Chicago snapped their 10-game losing streak with a 119-111 OT win last night in Charlotte. Give the Bulls credit for finding their offense, but it was just their 4th win in 24 games this season and we don't suspect a winning streak is about to begin. They're 0-4 ATS both off a SU win and when playing without rest between games. The Knicks whipped Memphis last time out and did so without Tim Hardaway, who's out with a leg injury. His loss is baked into this number as far as we're concerned. We have a Knicks' team that's covered seven of their last nine against teams with a losing record, while covering five in a row in this series. I'm laying the points with the Knicks on Saturday. Washington State is looking to end a two game losing streak in Texas against UTEP. Wazzu's defense has steadily gotten worse as the season goes along. They allowed 91 to Idaho on the road and 81 to UC Davis as well. Robert Franks and Malachi Flynn are averaging over 36 points per game combined. UTEP is feeling good after a 88-76 home win over New Mexico last time out. They will be once again without Matt Wilms in the middle. That will make the Miners defense much worse considering he's their enforcer type. Extra pressure now on Keith Frazier and Omega Harris. UTEP has gone over in 14 of their last 21 games when the total is 140 to 149.5.

This one sets up very well. Nebraska Omaha is a tired team right now. This is their 11th game in a 30 day stretch with 10 of them coming away from Omaha. This week alone they were @ Washington on Sunday, @ Cal Santa Barbara on Tuesday, and now in Iowa to play Drake on Saturday. UNO head coach Darrin Hansen admitted his team is tired and banged up right now. Speaking of banged up, one of the Mavs top players, Mitch Hahn (12 PPG, 7 RPG) was injured in Tuesday game @ UCSB and won’t play here. That makes it even tougher for a tired team that has been traveling for a month straight. Hansen is ready for this stretch to be over and so is his team. He said as much earlier this week speaking of their road stretch, “I’m looking forward to it to be over and so is our team.” This is their final road game of the 30 day stretch so it looks to us they are just ready to get this game over with and go home. Drake will be motivated here as these two have already played this year. It was UNO’s ONLY home game this season and they beat Drake 75-73 which was Omaha’s only win this season (1-7 record). That was just 12 days ago and Drake was favored by 4.5 in that game now they are just 7 to 7.5 at home. Drake is a solid shooting team ranking 54th nationally from beyond the arc and they are facing one of the worst defensive teams in the nation. UNO ranks 301st in the nation in defensive efficiency. Tired legs won’t help matters as we expect them to be worse than that today. Drake is also playing their first home game since November and this one sets up to be any easy win for the Bulldogs.
