    GC: NBA Play

Friday card has Both Afternoon Bowls systems and a super rare 6* 100% RPI Scale system in College hoops along with the NBA West Conf. Total of the Month and a late night NCAAB Dominator and more. NBA Comp play below.

The NBA Comp play is on Houston at 8:05 eastern. We will take a shot with the Rockets tonight as they are off a tough loss to the Lakers last out at home as a 15 point favorite. curious to see how these teams rebound off a loss like that we headed to the database and see that. Home favorites of 10 or more that failed to cover by 10 or more points as 10+ point home favorite and scored 100 or more while allowing 120 or more are 5-0 ats since 1995 and win by an average 22 points.. The winning team in the series with The Clippers has covered 22 of 23 times. The clips are 1-5 ats vs Southwest Division teams so we will lay it with Houston. On Friday a huge card is up and led by a super rare 6* NCAAB RPI Scale system, Both Bowl system plays in afternoon action, the Western Conference total of the month and a 5* Blowout in NBA Action and more. Message or see us on facebook as we storm into Christmas weekend with a Powerful Buckets and Bowls card. For the NBA free play. Play on the Houston Rockets. RV- GC Sports

9* NHL Total of the Week

Montreal(15-15-4) looks for revenge against Calgary(18-14-3) who beat them last week 3-2 in OT. Problem for the Canadiens is defensive lineman Shea Weber is still out. Calgary will be without one of their bettter defensive lineman in Travis Hamonic. Guys are tired and they know the break is near, we lock in the Over.

    4-Unit Play. #833. Take Towson -3.5 over Pittsburgh (Friday @ 7pm est)
Note, we were going to add on Alabama to this card, but we decided to simply roll with 1 selection today. We roll with Towson here as you have a team that has never faced Pittsburgh in the history of its school and they will get up for this game. This is a Towson team that features a top 90 defense, a top 130 offense, top 60 in 3 point shooting and just lost to Old Dominion by 3 points, facing a Pitt team that is outside the top 150 in general, comes off giving up a season high 97 points to Oakland so they will be more than irritated coming into this game given that they are a good defense and we like the fact they come off a poor defensive outing and come off a loss in general. Plus, Pittsburgh is outside the top 170 in defense, outside the top 240 in turnover percentage and has not beat a top 200 team all year nevertheless a top 125 team lke Towson is. Let's roll with the better team here today with the better defensive intensity.

4 Unit Play. #852 Take Alabama -4 over Texas (9 pm ESPN 2) Both teams are fringe Top 25 teams that will likely make the NCAA Tournament come March. The Longhorns have beaten the teams that they are supposed to beat but only have a victory against Butler as an impressive win. Alabama has a ton of talent and has a homecourt edge as this game takes place in Birmingham, AL. Texas is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games. Alabama is 33-16 ATS (1 push) in their last 50 games following an ATS loss in their previous game.

4 Unit Play. #864 Take UC Davis -3 over Lamar (5:30 pm) Just like the system UC Davis runs and expect them to take down the Cardinals this afternoon in Las Vegas, NV. The Aggies have played a much more challenging schedule than have the Cardinals and that will prepare them to win this game. UC Davis is 12-3 ATS (3 pushes) in their last 18 games overall.

4 Unit Play. #895 Take SIU Edwardsville +10 over Central Michigan (7 pm ESPN 3) The Chippewas have played a very weak schedule to amass their 9-2 record and I do not see a blowout tonight. This team lost a lot of talent from their squad last season and they will struggle to win games in the MAC. The Cougars have won three straight games and should be able to put up some points in this game since the Chippewas do not play much defense.

3-Unit Play #802 Take Detroit -7 over New York (7 p.m. EST, Friday)

Although the Pistons aren't playing as well lately as they were early in the season they are still one of the better ATS teams in the NBA and we feel they are catching the Knicks in a nice spot tonight coming off an upset win over the Celtics. New York hasn't been good in back-to-backs this season and they aren't good on the road at 2-9 on the season. The Pistons have won three of their last four and we just don't see the Knicks beating the Celtics and Pistons on consecutive nights and we think there is a good chance for a big New York letdown tonight a good possibility for a 10+-point win for the home team..

2-Unit Play #812 Take Houston -12.5 over LA Clippers (8 p.m. EST, Friday)

The Rockets had their long winning streak broken by the Lakers last time out and that was just a game where they took the night off as every NBA team does in certain games. But they will be motivated by this one as this has become a rivalry in the last few years, even more so now after the trade sent Chris Paul to the Rockets in the offseason. Paul will be out tonight, but it won't matter. The Clippers just don't have the players to compete in this matchup and besides a couple holdovers from last year the Clippers don't have a lot of extra motivation in this matchup. We think Houston will get back on the winning track in a big way.

    3-Unit Play #814 Take Milwaukee -5 over Charlotte (8 p.m. EST, Friday)

The Bucks have been up and down this season but last time out they scored a big win over the Cavs on at home and we think that game might be the catalyst for a winning streak. This is the first of a home-and-home, back-to-back and we think the home teams will play well in each game. The Bucks have the advantage here tonight not only being at home but they have had the last two nights off as well. They have covered in three of the last four meetings and we expect a very strong game from the home club tonight.

    4-Unit Play #815 Take Denver/Portland UNDER 205 (10 p.m. EST, Friday)

Portland has one of the best defenses in the NBA this season, and against a Denver offense that has been inconsistent lately we just don't see the Nuggets doing anything special tonight on the offensive end. We think there is a good chance that the Nuggets score well under 100 tonight. And that should be enough to cash this ticket. On the other side, the offense of the Blazers can't be called dynamic by any measure and tonight they will be without their best player in Damian Lillard and that is going to hurt this team in many ways. We think there is a good chance that both teams finish under the century mark.

    3 Unit Play. #820 Take Georgia (-3) over Temple (1 p.m., Friday, December 22)

The Owls won't have an answer for Yante Maten down low both scoring and on the glass. Temple also hasn't really challenged itself away from Philadelphia. Its lone two road games, both losses, were to teams in La Salle and George Washington, both lesser teams compared to Georgia and not much of road trips. Here in Athens they can't get it going against a UGA team that has held serve every home game this season. Georgia minus the number.

    3-Unit Play. #888 Take Yale (-4) over Monmouth (7 p.m., Friday, December 22)

Yale is just 6-7 on the year, but six of their losses have come on the road. The Bulldogs are 3-1 at home with all three victories on campus by double digits. And considering this team hasn't played a game in ten days not to mention a home game in all of December, this is going to be a focused team tonight. Monmouth are coming off an 11-point loss at Princeton, so that should give a pretty good indication how this one plays out. Yale get back in the win column with a much-needed win at home over the Hawks.

    8-Unit Play. #852 Take Alabama (-4.5) over Texas (9 p.m., Friday, December 22)

Alabama is one of those teams that won't be spoken about much all year yet nobody wants to play. The Tide have a bonified superstar in Collin Sexton and a very talented supporting cast around the dynamic freshman. And now that 'Bama has Braxton Key back from injury, that's another double digit scorer to add to the mix. They are much, much more versatile and explosive offensively than is Texas. The Longhorns are without their best player and top scorer Andrew Jones, and I am not confident in the rest of this roster. Mo Bamba may be a high profile name out of high school, but the first year big man is a multi-year project in the works. And minus Jones, UT doesn't possess enough individual playmakers to outduel a much more skilled Alabama roster. The Tide are 8-3 and all three losses came by single digits, two against legit NCAA Tournament teams in Minnesota and Arizona. Tonight's game is being played in Birmingham, so while it's not a campus game for Alabama, this is inately a home game for the SEC team. Texas has ventured out on the road just once all year, and this home-like environment for 'Bama will be another deciding factor. Alabama is the more confident team. They have their entire load of skill players and are going to offensively overpower Texas in this one. Alabama tonight prove to have too many weapons putting the ball in the basket. Super frosh Sexton goes for another 20+ points and his teammates outplay the rest of Texas just the same. Alabam race past the Longhorns and win by 15.

3-Unit Play. #872 Take New Mexico State (+2) over Davidson (11 p.m., Friday, December 22)

Davidson are definitely struggling without graduated top scorer Jack Gibbs. The 22-point scorer a season ago was the perfect 1-2 punch alongside Peyton Aldridge, but this season the Wildcats are seeing they are far less formidible without both players. New Mexico State has picked up right where they left off from last season's NCAA Tournament appearance with a 9-2 start. The Aggies are cashing in with immediate dividends with two of their three top scorers being transfers into the program. The Aggies' defense has been a big reason for their success, only allowing two opponents this year to score 75+ points on them. And considering Davidson likes to push tempo, this will be a good counter to them tonight. WAC over the A-10 in this one.

    7-Unit Play. Take #812 Houston (-12) over L.A. Clippers (8 p.m., Friday, December 22)

The Rockets have a plan in place to chase down the Warriors and pass them on their way to a title. They have been smoking out of the gate in the quest to do that with a 25-5 record but they dropped an ugly (but entertaining) game against the Lakers last time out so they may be a little more focused in this one. James Harden is an unstoppable force and the fact that Chris Paul has not been healthy for much of this run is even more of a reason to fear this Houston squad. This is going to be a great chance for them to get right back on track and get another run away victory against a floundering Clippers team. Houston will jump out early and should have this one tied up in a nice early Xmas bow by the third quarter. Lay the number Rockets 130-102.

6 Unit Play. Take #814 Milwaukee -5 over Charlotte (8:05p.m., Friday December 22)
Tonight in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the Bucks welcome a struggling road team to the BMO Harris Bradley Center and I see the home team taking this game. The Charlotte Bobcats have struggled on the road going 2-11 and the Bobcats come to this meeting dropping 4 out 5 games. Milwaukee is coming off one of their biggest wins of the season beating the Cavs 3-nights ago at home 119-116 and I believe their momentum will carry on tonight. Overall, the Milwaukee Bucks are the better team and again with the Hornets struggling to win road games I see the Greek Freak having another big game and carrying the Bucks to a win and cover. The Hornets are 2-10 ATS against NBA Central teams and the Hornets are 3-11-2 ATS in their last 16 road games. Favorite in this series is also 6-1 ATS and the Bucks take this game at home.
