3-Unit Play. #538. Take Over 147.5 Cleveland State vs. Toledo (Satudray @ 2pm est)
We roll with the Over here because we believe that Cleveland State will be an active underdog and push this game over the posted total. You have a team that showed a of promise and easily covered at Cincinnati facing an elite defense, a team that has showed it can put up 70+ points at home with relative ease and why they are only a small underdog to a Toledo team that is a top 115 team in the nation in offense. Look for Toledo to push the tempo but also look for Cleveland State to match that tempo as this game likely goes over the posted total.

3-Unit Play. #541. Take Florida Atlantic +21 over Minnesota (Saturday @ 3:30pm est)
You are Florida Atlantic and you come one of the worst defeats of not only the season but in your franchise as you face Minnesota today. This team simply faced one of the best defenses in the nation in their last game and we suspect they will show a lot of pride and ability to bounce-back in this game as this team has to show some heart here and as they face Minnesota, another good defensive but no where near as elite as Texas Tech, it sets up well for Florida Atlantic to hang tough. Remember, this team recently beat top 150 Florida Gulf Coast on the road by a few points and we like them to hang tough given their ability to score and coming off a horribe loss.

3-Unit Play. #547. Take Under 133 Southern MIss vs. Miss State (Saturday @ 7pm est)
Southern Miss just lost 98-45 in their last game to FSU and they are a much better defense than they showed and note that FSU just shot the lights out of the ball and it will be hard for Miss State to match that. You will see a much more focused defensive team coming into the game today after getting routed in the last game and consequently we like Southern Miss to step up defenisvely and Mississippi State to overlook this game and not show up as much offensively as this game likely goes under the posted total which is why the total is as low as it is.

6 Unit Play. #542 Take Minnesota -20.5 over Florida Atlantic (3:30 pm BTN) Sooner or later Minnesota is going to put it all together and cover one of these twenty point spreads. They played much better in the second half against Oral Roberts on Thursday and look for them to carry that momentum into Saturday against another inferior opponent. This team is not a lock to make the NCAA Tournament but they are in the midst of six straight home games and expect them to win all of them. FAU got run over by Texas Tech on Tuesday and their next game is against their rival Florida International. Richard Pitino coached at FIU and thus you can get he wants to beat FAU big today. FAU is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games. Minnesota is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against Conference USA teams.

4 Unit Play. #550 Take Missouri -4 over Illinois (8 pm ESPN 2) Missou has done respectable despite not having Michael Porter Jr this season. Illinois is rebuilding under a new coach and Missou needs to need this four-game losing streak this year. Missouri is father along at this point with their new coach than is Illinois evident by the fact they have won five straight games. Illinois is 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games played on Saturday.

4 Unit Play. #552 Take North Carolina -7.5 over Ohio State (1:30 pm CBS) Ohio State got run off the floor last year in this tournament against UCLA and expect a similar result today against an angry UNC. Carolina lost to Wofford last time out and Coach Williams cannot be happy about that. Ohio State has a new coach and it is in complete rebuild mode since he did not take over until the summer months. Ohio State is 7-19 ATS in their last 26 neutral site games. North Carolina is 7-0 ATS (1 push) in their last 8 games following an ATS loss in their previous game.

4 Unit Play. #558 Take UC Davis -2.5 over Radford (5:30 pm) We will ride the Aggies again today after an easy cash with them on Friday. This team just has a knack for winning these mid-major games early in the season. Their style of play becomes frustrating for opponents. Radford is 2-7 ATS in their last 9 neutral site games. UC Davis is 7-1 ATS (2 pushes) in their last 10 nonconference games.

1-Unit Play. Take #540 Auburn (-11) over Connecticut (2:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 23)
Connecticut is not a good basketball team. At all. They needed overtime for home wins against bad teams like Columbia and Monmouth. And they were noncompetitive in their games against other power six conference members like Michigan State, Arkansas and Syracuse. This is a true road game and Auburn was actually good enough to go to Storrs and beat the Huskies (in overtime) last year. And while Connecticut is obviously having another down season they are still a big name. And that name will be enough to fire up Bruce Pearl and the Auburn faithful. Pearl knows he needs to generate excited whenever and wherever he can at this football-crazed school. So, again, it doesn't matter that the Huskies are down; Pearl is going to have his guys whipped up into a frenzy. The Tigers are a different team at home and they feed off their crowd. Connecticut doesn't handle pressure well and they don't have the size on the interior to make Auburn pay for playing small. Auburn is shaky as hell. And I can see them getting up big early and then blowing a huge lead by letting Connecticut go on like a 14-2 run. But I think this team is talented enough to run Connecticut out of the gym and that's what I'll call for here.

Let's try this again. The last time that FAU took the court they lost by 35 points at Texas Tech. Minnesota has gone on an 0-4 ATS slide and they are 1-5 ATS in their last six. But they are better than they are performing at the window. They haven't shot the ball well but I think that they will find things a little easier against an Owls team that is allowing opponents to shoot nearly 50 percent on the road.

2-Unit Play. Take #550 Missouri (-4) over Illinois (8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 23)
I knew Illinois' 6-0 start was an aberration. This team is not very good and I think the arrow is pointed downward. Brad Underwood still has a lot of work to do with this weak roster and the Illini are going to get worse before they get better. Missouri, on the other hand, has been solid from their first game. This team has three Top 100 wins already and they have been better on both ends of the court. Missouri has lost this rivalry series four years in a row and they are going to be extremely motivated to get back in the win column.

1-Unit Play. Take #560 USC (-3) over Middle Tennessee (4:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 23)

2-Unit Play. Take #573 Niagara (Pk) over Cornell (1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 23)
Cornell is really young, they are really small, and they really aren't any good. Niagara has not played up to their potential just yet but I still think that this is the better team in this matchup. Matt Scott and Kahlil Dukes are the two best players on the floor and I think that the Purple Eagles' athleticism is going to make the difference here.

2-Unit Play. Take #575 Georgia State (-2) over Chattanooga (1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 23)
It is a short trip north for the Panthers as they head to Chattanooga to take on an inferior team. Georgia State has been one of the better 3-point shooting teams in the country and the Mocs have been mediocre defending the perimeter. Georgia State has a big win at Massachusetts (something Georgia couldn'te ven do) and they also took Dayton to overtime on the road, so they have proven they can win away from home. Chattanooga is coming off a fluke win as a 10-point underdog at Jacksonville State and I think they have been playing over their heads a bit.
