    In Super Bowl history, it's happened 12 times that a team has played in the game the year after winning it. They went 8-4 SU and 6-6 ATS.

    The Patriots have only appeared in consecutive SBs once, both wins in 2003 and 2004. The 2004 win was vs the Eagles.
