I've got to go with ZOOMING FOR STOLI. He has to be given a shot given the respectable speed numbers. He looks solid in this slot and I expect will be on the front end or close at the midpoint. The speed rating of 61 from his last race looks very good in here. MS BLUE SLEW - Must be considered - I like the figures from the last outing. Have to examine solely on class, with some of the best class figs of this group. DASHIN BYE SPECIAL - With a nice class figure average of 71, has one of the strongest class advantages in this group. Has strong Speed Figures and has to be considered for a bet in this event.

LUNA D'AVRIL - I really like sprinters that make a quick turnaround. Rider hops back aloft after getting to know the magnificent animal by riding last time around the track. That's always a great angle. You have to really like that latest race speed rating, 78, which is the best recent race speed figure of this field. LENDAR - I like this mare a lot here. She shows a lot of consistency, finishing in the money frequently. This horse brings in a lot of cash per start. Tops in this affair. LIL MISS HOTSHOT - The jockey/handler duet of Bowman and McCaslin has a strong ROI together.
Vulnerable Contenders: #1 ARCHUMYBABY (ML=2/1), #5 RAINBOWS AHEAD (ML=7/2), #6 SWEETEST YET (ML=5/1),
ARCHUMYBABY - This favorite ran on Jan 13th and hasn't had a work since then. RAINBOWS AHEAD - Finished first in her most recent race with a mediocre fig. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to prove victorious after that in this field. SWEETEST YET - I cannot play this confirmed non-winner. Gets the task completed once in a while. When scrutinizing today's Equibase class figure, she will have to notch a much better speed fig than in the last race to vie in this dirt sprint.
Top HatGUEST COMMENTARY: The Brain - LUNA D'AVRIL - After a moderate layoff, has had a few races and today she enters a sprint race. Should be back in form, so I expect this animal to perform well in this field.

MASTERFUL STRIDE - The ROI when Enriquez and Rollins partner up is out of sight. True, this pony is coming off a layoff, but this gelding runs well fresh. SEDONA SUNRISE - Possibly a peak effort for this gelding today. Been getting closer with each recent start. Mawing rode this animal for the initial time last out and comes right back in today's contest. This gelding is in good condition. Finished second on January 23rd. This gelding earned a good fig of 92 in his last event. That speed figure should be lofty enough to score this time. In the last race, ran the last quarter in less than 25 ticks. Pretty good indication he can close well, and should be right there at the wire today. This gelding is clearly on the improve with speed figures of 59, 86, 92 last three out. HE'S MUNNIE - Colt's last workout was second fastest of the day for the distance.
Vulnerable Contenders: #5 CONSUMERCONFIDENCE (ML=5/2), #1 XTREME LYRA (ML=6/1),
CONSUMERCONFIDENCE - The lack of workouts has to make one concerned despite the nice effort in the last event. Doubtful for this entrant to make a winning move with no recent success in a sprint clash. Pace is so vital, and this early speedball is going to have a speed duel on his hands. Way too far back on January 16th for me to wager on at the probable odds in today's sprint event. XTREME LYRA - Nice race on January 16th at Turf Paradise, but the fact that there are no workouts since has to make one a little worried.
