Utah is now just 6-13 straight up since Joe Johnson returned from injury (Utah has been outscored by 10.8 points per 48 minutes with Johnson on the court this season) and the Jazz are a worse than average team with their current rotation, which also is without Thabo Sefolosha, who is a positive impact player. I have won three of my four recent games going against the Jazz and they’re even less likely to cover the spread on the road. Utah is just 5-19 straight up and 9-15 ATS on the road this season and they’re always been relatively worse on the road than in their high-altitude home in Salt Lake City. Detroit has dropped 5 straight games but they’ve only lost those games by an average of 5.8 points despite their opponents making 43.2% of their 3-point shots. In other words, the recent losses have been more a case of negative 3-point variance than the Pistons actually playing poorly. Utah has had some negative 3-point variance recently too but my player-specific ratings, based on current rotations (and with Reggie Bullock not expected to play for Detroit) favor the Pistons by 5 points (with an extra point of road disadvantage for the Jazz). I’ll take Detroit in a 2-Star Best Bet at -2 points or less.

Philadelphia has played their best ball at home and this month they are 4-1 ATS and the 76ers offense at home has been scoring machines. The 76ers are averaging 112.4ppg in their last 5 home games and the Bulls at any given not give up over 100 points on defense so wouldn't shock me to see this total fly over. Chicago is 8-1 O/u following a SU loss and the Bulls are 9-2 O/U in their last 11 road games. The 76ers are 5-2 O/U after scoring 100 points or more in their last game and the last 12 meetings between these two teams 10 of them have gone over.

The Blazers just don't seem to play well versus the NBA's best. The Wolves are finding their stride without Jimmy Butler and they still have enough to take down Portland. Minnesota won't be fazed by the home court advantage of the Blazers which has seemed to loose its luster a bit. The Wolves are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five games versus a team with a winning record. Take the road squad here.
