3 Unit Play. Take #5 Under 6 -130 New York Rangers at Dallas (8:35p.m., Monday February 5)
I know the Rangers gave up 5 goals in their last game and the Stars scored 6 goals in their last game but the last 4 meetings between these two teams 3 have gone under and that trend continues. The Dallas Stars last 4 games 3 of them have gone UNDER and with Ben Bishop in the net tonight I see him shutting down the Rangers. Bishop's last two home starts both went UNDER the total but Bishop got the losses but again I see him having an outstanding night in the net against the Rangers. The Stars are 1-10 O/U after an opponent allows 5 goals or more in their last game and the 5 meetings in Dallas 4 of them have gone UNDER the total

4 Unit Play. Take #702 Detroit -2.5 over Portland (7:05p.m., Monday February 5)
Today's NBA selection was a bit tough because I was going back and forth with the Pistons or Pacers but since the Blazers played yesterday and lost on the road I see another road loss to the Blazers. Portland comes to Motown losers of back-to-back road games while the Pistons have won 3-straight and all 3 wins were at home. Portland is 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and the Blazers are 1-4 ATS following a SU loss. The home team in this series is 8-3 ATS and the Pistons at home against the Blazers are 5-1 ATS.

3 Unit Play Take #715 Indiana -3 over Rutgers (7:00pm est):

The Indiana Hoosiers have dropped 4 straight games coming into this one, the last 3 coming against the best 3 teams in the Big Ten Conference this year. The Hoosiers 1st year head coach Archie Miller has this team playing some strong defense right now and there looks to be a lot of upside with this group. Rutgers is just 2-10 on league play this season. This is a program that's just 6-48 the last 3 years previous to this in the Big Ten.

Take Indiana minus the points here.

3-Unit Play. Take #726 North Carolina Central (-3) over Hampton (7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 5)

NC Central is one of the hottest teams in the MEAC. They have won eight of their last 10 games and they are undefeated at home in league play. Hampton is below .500 in their last 10 games. They lost their last game even though they shot 50 percent from the floor. Central has won five of the last six meetings with Hampton and they blew them out on the road last year. Hampton has been outscored by 12 points per game on the road this season and I don't think that they will slow down the Eagles in this one.

    3-Unit Play. Take #728 Jackson State (-2) over Southern A&M (9 p.m., Monday, Feb. 5)

This is a rare lined game for these two SWAC teams. I think Jackson State will get it done here. The Tigers are at home and they already beat Southern on the road back on Jan. 8, winning 65-61. Southern is just 1-13 SU on the road this year and Jackson State is 7-1 SU at home. The home team has won three of the last four between these two and five of the last seven. Go with the home team here.

    4-Unit Play. Take #702 Detroit (-2.5) over Portland (7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 5)

We love Detroit in this spot. They have looked solid since Blake Griffin got there and they catch a Portland team playing their third road game in four nights, and its an early tip. Portland is a tough matchup, but they just won't have much left in the tank for the second half. They played at Toronto on Friday, then in Boston yesterday (a game in which they lost at the buzzer), and now they play in Detroit. Look for the Pistons to use their size and strength in the half court to control this game. Detroit is 14-6-1 ATS in their last 21 games versus the Western Conference while Portland is 1-4-1 ATS in their last six road games versus a team with a winning home record.

Best of Luck - Strike Point Sports
