Kansas St Kansas St''s team is young but really fight hard for their coach, Bruce Weber. They check in at 16-7 which is great in the Big 12 conference. Kansas St has shot well during conference play, making 52 percent of their two-point attempts (2nd in the Big 12) and almost 40 percent of their three-point attempts (4th in the Big 12). That alone is a reason to like this team. But the defense is also cranking things up. Weber has the Wildcats playing hard on the defensive end of the floor too. The Wildcats have forced turnovers on 22 percent of their defensive possessions during the conference season (2nd in the Big 12), while limiting their opponents to just 34 percent from three-point range (2nd in the Big 12). Can we say "live dog" for tonight? This game will be somewhat low scoring at both teams rely on defense. Kansas St averages 74 ppg while Texas put up 72 ppg.

Colorado Cal got their win for the year last Saturday and like many horrible teams do, will prove to many that it was a fluke. They caught Oregon St on a night where the six players off the bench combined for exactly two points. Now they go to the mile high altitude of the Rockies to play Colorado. The Buffaloes are led by McKinley Wright and Lucas Siewert and as a team, can get the blowout with the three point shot. I do not see Cal keeping this close. They score moderately but quickly give up more points with horrible to no defense. The Colorado Buffaloes are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games and a sparkling 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 which Cal qualifies.

My 40 Dime play is on the Boston Bruins over the New York Rangers. At 7:30 am eastern time, the Bruins are -125 in Vegas and offshore.
ANALYSIS
Line up changes tonight for the streaking Bruins, as goalie Tukka Rask will get a night off and in his place Anton Khudobin will get the assignment this Wednesday. Obviously there is a little drop-off with Rask out, but Boston also gets a boost with Brad Marchand's 5-game suspension coming to an end.
Boston is just 3 points behind Tampa Bay for the most points in the Eastern Conference, while the limping Rangers - lost their last 3, and 6 of their last 7 overall - are below the cut-line for a Wild Card spot in the East, as they still need to pass both the Islanders and the Hurricanes to even get a sniff of the postseason.
New York does have a 7-game series winning streak over Boston that they carry into tonight's action, including both meetings this season. That fact ought to motivate the B's who had lost 6 in a row against Toronto prior to their Saturday night home win over the Maple Leafs.
Boston is on a 17-1-4 run dating back to the middle of December, so New York does indeed have a tall task in front of them tonight even with their series win streak on their side. The Bruins have won their last 5 on the road, and are 9-0-2 their last 11 away from Beantown.

The Brooklyn Nets have really slowed things down on the offensive end of late. They come into this one the slowest paced team in the NBA in their past 3 games, this despite the fact they've faced 2 of the faster teams in the league during this time. These two teams faced each other twice in the month of January and both contests went below the posted total. Expecting the same type thing here in this one.
Play 'under' the total in this one. My CBB has started off 2-0 this week so far. I'm ahead around $2,000 overall on the season overall. Looking to add to that in a big way the next couple weeks as I love the conference season in college hoops especially in the smaller leagues. Join me in the winning!!

This line can't get high enough. The Cavs just aren't very good and LeBron can't seem to save them. Minnesota in the other hand is settling in as one of the best teams in the West. The can score in multiple ways and will be just too much for the defensively inept Cleveland Cavaliers. The Timberwolves are 4-1 ATS in both their last five games overall and their last five against the Eastern Conference. Take the road team in this matchup as the Cavs are 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games versus a team with a winning straight up record.
