6-Unit Play. #566. Take Houston -9 over SMU (Thursday @ 9pm est)
Yes, the line seems big and is a bit large here but there is a couple things going on in this game which is what makes this line as big as it is. Note, we go for 6 in a row today and go for a 9-2 Run as we are already +$6370 on the season, take a moment and save money and join us for the entire College Basketball Season for just a reduced price of $549. Remember, we have won the last 5 years in March Madness as well producing more than +$20,000 in that span. Per this game, you have a Houston team that lost both times to SMU last year and is tired of playing little brorther or bullied in this conference. They have senior leadership this year, they are better, they are more experienced which is why they have won 17 games already. They have been looking forrward to this game as a benchmark if you will not to mention they are a perfect 11-0 at home with a great 11 game home winning streak to boot. SMU also has a big date with Cincinnati on deck and Houston is a top 40 defensive team, top 35 in offensive rebounding, has already beaten the likes of Wichita State at home by 14 and held them to 59 points, even beat Providence by 11 in neutral footing and Arkansas 91-65. This is as well coached team as you're going to find and they are going to be ready in a big way today.

Stanford (+4½) over Utah
Thursday @ 8:00 PM (EST) -- Jon M. Huntsman Center
Stanford +4.5 Utah is certainly struggling. They lost two straight to drop back to under .500 at 5-6 and are sitting in a three way tie for seventh place in the conference. This game will come down to the wire. Stanford has won two straight and have risen all the way up to a tie for fourth place at 7-4 in the conference and looks good on both sides of the ball. They just defeated Oregon by 35 points in their last game by making 35 of 56 from the field and 12 of 20 from the three point line. They also made 14 of 17 from the free throw line in a fantastic all around shooting effort. I truly believe the wrong team is favored but will not complain. Utah has too many problems which they are in the middle of trying to figure out before the conference tournament begins. For instance, their top scorer did not reach double digits in scoring in their last game. When the entire team is shooting rocks and underperforming in all areas, who has the confidence and talent to step up? Maybe one or two in offense but theirs still huge problems for this team. If they squeak out a win, it will be a very crucial last shot.

7-Unit Play. Take #057-058 Vancouver/Tampa Bay GAME TOTAL OVER 5.5 -120 (Thursday, February 8th at 7:30 PM ET) Take Vancouver/Tampa Bay GAME TOTAL OVER as my 7-Unit NHL Smash for Thursday night. This pick falls into one of my top NHL systems and I have see a 5-3 type of game here tonight with the way these two teams have played each other in the past. The O/U is 5-1 for the Canucks in their last 6 games when their opponents allows 5 or more goals in their previous game and the O/U is 11-4 for the Canucks in their last 15 games when playing with 1 day of rest. The O/U is 16-5-3 in the last 24 games played between these two teams and the O/U is 5-1 for the Lightning in their last 6 games against a Pacific Division opponent. The O/U is 28-11-4 for the Lighting in their last 43 home games after a road trip of 7 or more days and the O/U is 11-4 for the Lightning in their last 15 home games. The Canucks have one of the better power-plays in the NHL on the road converting at 24.4% this season and one of the worst penalty-kills on the road with opponents converting at 24.4% against them. Opponents have converted at 29.4% on the power-play in their last 5 games against the Lightning and the average total score is 7 in the Lightnings last 5 games overall. Play the OVER as we move to 19-9 my last 28 top NHL plays rated 5-Units or higher.
3 Unit Play. Take #508 Portland -3.5 over Charlotte (10:05p.m., Thursday February 8)
The Blazers should be thrilled that they get this game at home after playing their last 3 games on the road were they went 0-3. Blazers have won 8-Straight home games and tonight I see them taking this game against the Hornets. The Hornets are 0-5 ATS against Western Conference opponents and the Blazers are 8-1 ATS at home against Charlotte. Also, throw in that the favorite in this series is 5-1 ATS and the home team has covered 4 out of 5 meetings.
