I like to play this handicapping theory, a thoroughbred coming back off a solid outing within the last thirty days. KING'S TO YOU - Have to give this gelding a fair chance. Ran a solid effort last time out within the last 30 days. Gelding is a few starts into a come back here. Should give a big race today. The latest figure of 93 is the top last race fig in the bunch. Multiple wins in this horse's life, all at Golden Gate Fields. Could add another win right here. SIBERIAN CHARM - This gelding is in superb form right now. Ended up third last time out and comes back promptly. SUPER C ME - Winless in his last three starts, this horse did win on Sep 19th at Presque Isle Downs versus tougher competition. Antongeorgi rode this thoroughbred for the first time last time out and comes right back this time. Trainer, Ordonez, has been deliberate with this horse off the layoff. The speed rating of 99 from his last contest looks respectable in here. A solid 100 avg Equibase class figure may give this gelding a distinct class edge versus this group. DO YAHWANNA SALSA - Must be given consideration - I like the figures from the last contest. MR LIGHTNING BOY - Looks respectable for the conditions of this race today, showing solid numbers in dirt sprint races recently. With Feliciano aboard him, this gelding ought to be able to break out quickly for this event.

Reason: This will be the first time since Blake Griffin will have the chance to face his former team in the LA Clippers. Griffin has energized this Pistons club. The Pistons are 9th in the East conference with a 27-26 record, just percentage points behind Philadelphia. In fact, only three games separate the Pistons from 4th place in the East. That makes this Griffin trade even bigger. Detroit has not lost since they got the star forward from the Clippers, winning five straight games. The Clippers also sit in 9th place in the West and are just four games back of 4th place. This should be an interesting game and I have no doubt that Griffin will have extra incentive tonight against his old club. The Pistons have been a very good over team of late, going 6-1 O/U in their last seven games and 5-1 O/U in their last six home games. The Clippers are 7-2 O/U in their last nine road games. The last four meetings between these clubs in Detroit have gone OVER. Play the OVER tonight.
