AUTHORITATIVE - The return on investment when Pennington and Servis partner up is tremendous. Always beware of the longer priced animal when a trainer has an 'uncoupled' entry in a race. Multiple trips to the winner's circle over the surface right here at Parx Racing. Maybe, another trip to the winner's circle in this event. FIREY DIAMOND - You probably should overlook that last event at Parx Racing in the slop where she finished off the board. Should do well right here on a fast track. CHECKBOUNCIN BILLY - A horse coming back this quickly after a solid contest is a good sign. This mare garnered a good speed fig of 89 in her last race. That speed figure should be good enough to win in today's event. AFLEET TIZZY - This filly is almost always in the money. Aboard this racer on January 27th and Navarro is back again in the irons in this race. This jockey/trainer duo has been producing a very lucrative ROI, right at +54. Have to give this filly a fair chance. Ran a solid outing last time around the track within the last month or so.

LUCY N ETHEL - This horse hasn't been in the mix in either of her last two efforts. Today's event is 7 furlongs. Hasn't finished in the money in a short distance race in the last two months. Not the best of indicators. The speed ratings are going downward. I'm not playing this vulnerable equine off of that trend. SUPERLING - Have to put a question mark next to the recent speed rating since it was attained in the slop. Earned a common speed rating in the last race in a $12,500 Claiming race on January 23rd. Doubtful to see an improved performance off of that rating.

I think NEGRITO is a very good choice. Should best this group of horses in this race here, showing strong numbers of late. Has raced quite well in dirt route races. Has earned solid Equibase Speed Figures in dirt route races in the past. LITTLE JIMMY - When Serey uses Mariano there's a good chance for sizeable profits. Will likely be one of the front-runners of the group going into the midpoint of the race. INFINITE FIESTA - This gelding is a solid contender based on his earnings per start in dirt route races. Should keep the strong string of finish positions intact this time out.

MISS N WILDCAT - After a pair of sprints, she's routing today, which is probably what this filly wants to do. Ranked at the very top in earnings per race entered. Another sign that this horse is the class of the race. ASSINIBOIN TREAT - Filly's finish positions keep getting better with each race. Maybe today's the day. This trainer does a good job stretching out any racer. Horses going a route for the first time almost always show an improvement.
Vulnerable Contenders: #2 WEST PRINCESS (ML=3/5),
WEST PRINCESS - 3/5 is not enough of a value to take on most any horse that has run poorly in back to back outings. Don't believe this runner will make an impact today. That last speed fig was quite unimpressive when compared with today's Equibase class figure.

It's never easy to play a back-to-back spot like the Knicks are here tonight. However, it's even worse when you have to do so without your leading scorer, Kristaps Porzingis who is out for the rest of the year with a torn ACL. The Knicks actually just got the cover last night at Indiana, just slipping inside the 9.5 point line. The loss was the sixth in a row for the Knicks. Moreover, it was the first time the Knicks have scored more than 96 points in their last six gaems. Meanwhile, Philly has played pretty well, winning their last three games both S/U and ATS. They are undefeated on their recent home stand and have outscored their last three opponents by double digits. I'm looking at the under here tonight. Despite an offensive outburst on Sunday, they now play back-to-back which will see the Knicks tired and they still are not scoring well since their star player went down. Play the UNDER
