BACK STAGE BONITA - Comes out of a last contest against 'open' company on November 16th and faces what I believe are easier 'state breds' today. My expertise says this is the lone stalker in the race. Have to give this thoroughbred a good look. In recent races, has posted the best Equibase speed figures on the turf at this distance. FLYING MAGIC SONG - Was in a $15,000 Claiming race at Sam Houston in the last race. That affair had a class figure of 78 and she is moving down in this race. A certain serious competitor. This filly faced open company last time out. Moving into a restricted state bred today. Is well worth a look. PP lines show this thoroughbred with 3 improving speed ratings. Singh should be on a live one in this race. GRETA'S SERENADE - Taking a trip down the ladder based on class; has the class ability to make her presence felt. This mare has been training well, and the recent bullet work says she's primed for a big race today. Comes out of a last event against 'open' company on Nov 10th and faces what I believe are easier 'state breds' today. Just check out her recent speed fig, 70. That one fits in this group.

PRECIOUS PLAY - This horse made little impact last time out finishing fourth. No reason to expect a reversal of fortune today. The speed figure in the last race doesn't fit very well in this clash when I look at the class rating of today's event. Mark this horse as a likely underlay.

This horse's last race was at Turf Paradise in a race with an Equibase class figure of 99. Dropping considerably in class figure this time out puts him in a solid position right here in this race. All systems look good for this horse. Last work, 2nd fastest of the day, shows he's fit and ready. Earnings per start is something that I believe can be an important handicapping aspect. This horse is ranked number one in this bunch. SMARTY PARTY PAPA - I certainly see favorable signs for this racer right here. SURE SWEET - I expect this magnificent animal to surprise some fans this time.
