I like the value here with the Coyotes catching points in this in-state rivalry game against the Jackrabbits. These are hands down the 2 best teams in the Summit and this game has major implications for the title. South Dakota State sits at a 11-1 in league play, while South Dakota is right behind at 11-2. The Coyotes can earn a share of the title with a win and would own the tie-breaker having swept the season series with the Jackrabbits.
The first meeting at South Dakota came back in late January and the Coyotes dominated that game 87-68. I just don't think a change in venue is going to change who wins in the rematch. Note that South Dakota is 11-5 SU and 12-3 ATS away from home this season. They are also 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 games vs a team with a winning record.
Adding to all of this is a great system in play on the Coyotes. Road underdogs that have scored 75+ in 2 straight games against an opponent that has scored 80+ in 3 straight games are 90-48 (65%) ATS over the last 5 seasons. Take South Dakota!

Earlier in conference play the Cincinnati Bearcats made it look easy on the road against the UConn Huskies. The Bearcats won 65-57 but from an ATS standpoint it was a loss as the Bearcats let a 17-point lead dwindle in the last four and a half minutes. I expect them to get an early lead here at home and never look back. Look for the game intensity is expected to increase to a season-high for the Bearcats as they’ve lost consecutive games and will come out strong here at home on Thursday. With the Huskies experiencing a poor season yet again, and their coach on the hot-seat, I like the Cincy Bearcats to win this one big!

The Philadelphia 76ers went into the All-Star Break on a hot streak in going 5-0 SU & 4-1 ATS in their final five games. But all five games were at home, and now they come out of the break overvalued here as 7-point road favorites at Chicago.
The 76ers are 0-4 SU & 0-4 ATS in their last four road games. They lost by 10 at Oklahoma City, by 12 at Milwaukee, by 8 at Brooklyn and by 8 at Indiana. They certainly haven’t been good enough away from home this season to warrant being 7-point road chalk here.
Chicago comes out of the break undervalued after going 2-9 SU & 2-9 ATS in their final 11 games prior to the break. But they did pick up two home wins in their last four games over Minnesota and Orlando.
The Bulls have owned the 76ers. They have gone 14-2 SU in the last 16 meetings. Chicago is 4-1 ATS in its last five home meetings with Philadelphia. The Bulls are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games when playing on three or more days’ rest. The 76ers are 1-7 ATS in their last eight Thursday games. Bet the Bulls Thursday.

My free pick is on the Utah Utes over the UCLA Bruins in tonight's Pac 12 clash.

The Runnin' Utes open a homestand tonight, and this is a biggie, as the Bruins are coming off wins over both Oregon schools this past weekend. But while they own a 14-2 home record, the Bruins are just 2-5 overall in road games this season (2-4 in Pac-12 road games).

UCLA has won two straight dating back to its lone win over the Utes last season, but Utah knows this is a bubble game, if you will, and it should be treated as a must-win. It is very likely the loser of this game ends up on the outside of the dance.

Utah can boost its résumé with wins over UCLA and USC this week, and then next week against Colorado.

Take the home team.

My free play is on the Santa Barbara Gauchos on the road, looking for the outright win at Cal Irvine.

Last week I told you about the turnaround with the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, who lost a school-record 22 games last season. Well, tonight they step to the hardwood with a 20-6 overall record and a 9-3 mark in Big West Conference play. They're looking to avenge a loss to UC Davis the last time out.

The Gauchos have won eight of nine, and they're holding off UC Irvine, sitting one-half game ahead of the Anteaters for first-place in the league. This is the program's best start since the 1987-88 season, when it began the year with a 20-5 record.

I love the Gauchos to take it to the UC Irvine, as it's time to make a statement, or hand over the division.

The Knicks went into the All-Star break reeling on the heels of eight consecutive losses but I believe they have a good chance of snapping that skid in Orlando on Thursday night. The Magic have dealt with a number of key injuries and come into this game having dropped their last three contests. They did enjoy a three-game winning streak prior to that but keep in mind, that was their first winning streak since way back in November. Orlando pulled out a 105-100 win over New York the last time these two teams met in December. We're looking at a pointspread in that range here, I simply feel that there isn't much separating these two lowly squads at all right now and will grab all the points I can get with the underdog Knicks. I'm recommending a play on the Sacramento Kings plus the points. OKC must win by 4 full buckets to cover this number tonight and we don't believe they'll get there. The Thunder have been favored in 50 games this season and not only have they covered just 18 times, but they've averaged just three more points than they've allowed in those games. OKC went into the break struggling, having won and covered just three of nine games. Sacto was actually enjoying a little more success, winning five of their last 11 outright, while covering eight of their last 12. The teams have met twice this season with the Kings covering both, including a 95-88 loss while getting 12 in OKC, and last month's 94-86 outright win as a home underdog. OKC is not the same on the defensive end with Andre Roberson injured and out for the season. They've given up 111 points per game in their last 14, allowing their opponents to make over 48 percent of their shots on nine occasions and over 50 percent in five of their last 10 games. OKC enters on a 2-8 ATS slide on the road against teams with a losing home record. Meanwhile, the Kings are on an 11-1 ATS run when playing with at least three days off between games and they're on an 8-3 ATS run against OKC. I'm grabbing the points with the Kings on Thursday.
