..No.Illinois has had this game circled on their calendar! Last season they were 6-0 in their conference heading into
the Miami,Oh game. They completely dominated the stats in that contest, but a Pick 6 at the end of the game
handed them a 13-7 loss. Miami only recorded 2 field goals on offense with 200 total yards to No.Illinois 370 yards
of offense. No.Illinois this year had to play 3 tough opponents on the road from the major conferences - Utah,
Nebraska, Vandy. As a result they are only 2-4 SU so far on the season. Miami also had 3 tough road games,
but not in consecutive weeks - Iowa, Cinci, Ohio St. They too are only 2-4 on the season. The Huskies are highly
motivated from last year's loss, and they come into this game with momentum from last week's tough road win over
Ohio U. This will be their 5th road game out of the past 6, but they are 15-1 ATS following an upset win over a
conference rival as an underdog. Miami is only 1-8 ATS after failing to cover the spread in 2 out of their past 3 games.

In the Huskies past 3 games they rushed for over 100 yards in all 3 with an average of 141 rushing yards per game.
They have passed for over 235 yards per game in all 6 games and average 279 yards per game thru the air.
Miami's offense has struggled with only averaging 100 yards per game on the ground and 154 thru the air.
On defense they have given up an average of 205 yards per game on the ground. In their 2 conference games they
gave up on the ground 309 to Buffalo and 173 to W.Michigan. Huskies are 40-17 ATS vs. poor rushing defenses
that allow at least 4,75 yards/carry. No.Illinois has a well balanced offense and should be able to
    Easily Handle Miami today!

NO. ILLINOIS WINS TODAY BY 14 … 31-17.

The oddsmakers have this line dropping, maybe thinking that LSU will have an emotional letdown after its thrilling win against Florida last week. Mississippi State's best bet is to lean on RB Kylin Hill and try to exploit the Tigers' aggressiveness defensively. I struggle to see the Bulldogs doing enough on either side of the ball to keep this one close. Lay it with LSU.

    FLORIDA @ SOUTH CAROLINA | 10/19 | 12:00 PM EDT

Both teams are coming off of emotional rollercoaster-type games. Sometimes that emotion, both positive and negative, can spill over into the following game. The Gators played well enough to beat LSU and come into this matchup still eyeing the SEC East title, with hope for a potential rematch. Plus, South Carolina's QB, Ryan Hilinski, may miss the game due to a concussion suffered last week against Georgia. Take the Gators.

Betting against the Huskies has been easy money this season. I don't question the heart and effort of UConn; they are definitely trying to win and are playing hard. The problem is that with so many youthful, inexperienced players -- combined with a very tough AAC -- the Huskies have a hard time finding any solid footing on gamedays. Houston covers.

    WISCONSIN @ ILLINOIS | 10/19 | 12:00 PM EDT

What has been good for the Fighting Illini has been the play of their offense. We've seen Illinois fight its way back into games because of a dynamic rushing attack and the ability to strike quickly. Unfortunately for the Illini, Wisconsin features one of the best defenses, if not the best, in college football. Also, led by their Heisman Trophy candidate at running back, Jonathan Taylor, the Badgers have their eyes set on crashing the College Football Playoff party this year. Style points are needed in order for that to happen. Take Wisconsin.

    CLEMSON -24
    CLEMSON @ LOUISVILLE | 10/19 | 12:00 PM EDT
    WED 10/16
Louisville coach Scott Satterfield has done a solid job with his squad this season, especially the offense. The problem has been a defense that struggles to stop anyone from scoring, and as a result, the Cardinals are involved in a lot of shootouts. This week they run up against a Clemson team that can score but also play great defense. Take the Tigers.
