    MLB | CWS vs TOR
    Play on: UNDER 9 -105

These teams managed only three combined runs yesterday, an important 2-1 win for the Jays. Runs may be hard to come by again this evening. Cease has allowed three or fewer earned runs in eight straight starts. The Jays aren't familiar with him and that should work in his favor. Berrios allowed two runs last time out, after having a tough start at LA before that. Prior to the LA game, he'd allowed only one earned run in his previous three starts combined. His last two starts against Chicago finished with five and eight combined runs. This one should also stay in the "single digits." Consider the Under

    MLB | Rangers vs Indians
Play on: Indians -162 at Caesars

My free play is on the Cle Indians at 7:10 ET.
The 43-81 Texas Rangers visit Progressive Field for a three-game series with the 61-61 Cleveland Indians on Tuesday night. The Rangers are 'buried' in last place in the AL West (29 1/2-games behind the Astros) and will miss the playoffs for the FIFTH straight season. The Indians won three straight AL Central titles from 2016-18 (lost the 2016 World Series 4-3 to the Cubs) but missed the postseason in 2019, despite 93 wins. However, the Indians qualified for the 2020 expanded playoff field but their postseason aspirations don't look too good right now, as they trail the White Sox by nine games in the division plus are eight games back of the AL's No. 2 wild team.
The starting pitching matchup for the first game of the series is Taylor Hearn (2-4, 3.97 ERA) for Texas and Eli Morgan (2-5, 5.80 ERA) for Cleveland. Hearn was promoted to the Rangers on April 25, 2019, to make his major league debut against the Seattle Mariners. However, he got just ONE out while allowing FIVE runs! He did not return to game action in 2019, as he suffered a fracture in his elbow during rehabilitation in June. Hearn made 14 appearances in 2020 (all in relief), going 0–0 with a 3.63 ERA and 23 strikeouts over 17.1 innings. He's made 35 appearances but just four starts in 2021 and will face the Indians for the first time in his career.
Morgan was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the eighth round of the 2017 MLB draft. However, his MLB debut did not come until this season (he did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic). Moran began this season in the minors but was called up to make his MLB debut on May 28, 2021 against the Toronto Blue Jays. He lasted just 2.2 innings, giving up six ERs. All of his 11 starts have been starts in 2021 (see record above) and Cleveland is 5-6 in those starts.
Texas enters the series stuck in an 'ugly' tailspin, having lost 14 of its last 18 overall and 18 of its last 20 on the road. Meanwhile, Cleveland is looking for its first four-game winning streak since posting a four-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles from June 14-17. Let me also note that Morgan is coming off his best outing of 2021 this past Tuesday, throwing SIX scoreless innings while allowing three hits with eight Ks in a 3-1 win at Minnesota. Go Indians, or should I say, Guardians?
    Good luck...Larry

MLB | Twins vs Red Sox
Play on: Twins +203 at SC Consensus

This is a monster price the Red Sox are being asked to lay, especially considering they aren't playing well and have unfavorable circumstances. Boston is 2-4 in its last six games. The Red Sox were embarrassed, 10-1, by the Rangers this past Saturday committing a season-high five errors. Boston's Sunday game was postponed and then the Red Sox had to go 11 innings on Monday to defeat the Rangers, who are 8-26 since the All-Star break. That's the fewest wins of any team during this time span. The Twins are in rebuild, but are better than the Rangers and in a good spot having been idle the past two days. They get back Miguel Sano from paternity leave. He's second on the team in homers and RBI's. The Twins have hit 15 more home runs than the Red Sox. The pitching matchup is Griffin Jax versus Tanner Houck, who has better season numbers than Jax. However, the Red Sox are just 3-3 in Houck's last six starts. Jax has been pitching better going 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA in his last three starts. So at this huge 'dog price, I'll throw a peanut on the Twins.

    MLB | Nationals vs Marlins
Play on: Nationals +103 at pinnacle

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Washington Nationals +103
The Miami Marlins are 0-7 in their last seven games overall and should not be favored over the Washington Nationals tonight. They are scoring just 2.9 runs per game during their losing streak. The Nationals have had no problems scoring runs this season even after some of the trades they have made. They are averaging 6.6 runs per game in their last five games. Erick Fedde will shut down the Marlins just as he has done throughout his career. Fedde is 2-0 with a 0.84 ERA in four previous starts against Miami. The Nationals will get their runs off of Jesus Lazardo, who is 3-5 with a 7.29 ERA in 10 starts this season. Washington is 47-19 in its last 66 meetings with Miami. Give me the Nationals.

    1* MLB - Reds/Brewers FREE PICK on UNDER 7.5
Tuesday's Free MLB Pick is on the UNDER 7.5 as the Milwaukee Brewers host the Cincinnati Reds. This game has a pitchers duel written all over it with Cincinnati's Tyler Mahle going up against Milwaukee's Corbin Burnes. Mahle is 10-4 with a 3.72 ERA in 25 starts, but the even bigger key to Mahle is how well he pitches on the road. Guy is 7-1 with a 1.73 ERA and 0.991 WHIP in 13 road starts. Burnes is one of the favorites to take home the NL Cy Young award. He's 8-4 with a 2.06 ERA and 0.906 WHIP in 21 starts. He's been nearly unhittable of late, posting a 0.43 ERA and 0.619 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Bet the UNDER 7.5!

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR TUESDAY, 8/24:

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Tuesday is with Under the Total in the game between the Cincinnati Reds and the Milwaukee Brewers listing both starting pitchers Tyler Mahle and Corbin Burnes. Cincinnati (69-57) has won four in a row after their 3-1 victory against Minnesota on Sunday. The Reds have played 5 of their last 7 games Under the Total after a win. Cincinnati has also played 5 of their last 6 games Under the Total on the road. Milwaukee (76-49) has won their last two games after their 7-3 win against Washington on Sunday. The Brewers have played 12 of their last 16 games at home Under the Total. The Under is also 7-1-1 in their last 9 home games with the Total in the 7-8.5 range. Take the Under listing Mahle and Burnes. Best of luck — Frank.

    MLB | Royals vs Astros
Play on: Royals +210 at Caesars

1* Free Sharp Play on Royals +210
The Royals (+210) are worth a look as a massive road dog against the Royals in Tuesday's MLB action. You wouldn't know KC was out of the playoff race with how well they have been playing. Royals have won 4 straight and 7 of 8 overall. They took 3 of 4 at home against the Astros last week and won the series opener at Houston last night 7-1. Simply too good a price to pass up with a team playing this well. Play the Royals +210!
