Wednesday NHL Free play. My selection is on Philadelphia over Washington at 7:05 pm et on Wednesday.
The Capitals will undoubtedly draw plenty of support from bettors looking to fade the Flyers off a win and perhaps impressed by Washington's 3-2 victory over the streaking Oilers on Monday. I see value with a scrappy Philadelphia squad here, however, as it looks to wrap up this homestand with a 3-2 record. While the Flyers are just 6-8 on home ice this season, that's considerably better than the Capitals 4-11 road mark (outscored by 0.9 goals on average in those contests). I mentioned the Caps are coming off a victory in Edmonton on Monday and that's worth noting as they're a poor 10-19 in their last 29 games following a road win, outscored by 0.4 goals on average in that situation. Washington has taken the last two meetings in this series but that's its longest win streak over the last seven matchups between the two division rivals. Look for the Flyers to get their revenge here. Take Philadelphia.

Toronto is 4-1 ATS last 5 home games against a team with a losing road record. Toronto is 19-7 ATS last 26 meetings in this series. We'll recommend a small play on Toronto tonight! Mike Lundin's Pistons vs Pelicans NBA Free Pick
The Pistons are coming off an upset win at Miami Tuesday night. They'll be playing on no rest, but I still think they can keep it relatively close here in New Orleans. The Pistons are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 12-5 ATS in their last 17 games following a straight up win.
Pelicans are 2-4 ATS as a home favorite of 5 points or more. Pistons are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in New Orleans.
It's also a look-ahead spot for the Pels who have a two-game home series against Western Conference-leading Phoenix on deck Friday/Sunday.

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Kings/Bucks OVER 235.5
The Sacramento Kings and Milwaukee Bucks are both fully healthy right now and two of the best offensive teams in the NBA when that's the case. And their recent head-to-head history suggests this is going to be a shootout tonight. The OVER is 19-0 in the last 19 meetings. The Kings and Bucks have combined for at least 243 points in each of their last four meetings. The OVER is 9-0 in the last nine meetings in Milwaukee. Give me the OVER.
