We'll back the Avalanche as they look to bounce back following Saturday's 6-2 home loss to the Maple Leafs that featured Nathan MacKinnon's return to the ice after a long stint on the injured list. Vegas rallied for a 5-4 win over the Predators on Saturday but that was their first win in three games. The Golden Knights have been flailing around for the last month or so, going an even 9-9 over their last 18 contests. While they'd like to exact a little revenge after dropping a 3-2 decision at home against the Avalanche back in late October, we all know that revenge is a dish best served at home rather than on the road. Anytime the Flyers are favored on the road, I have to closely look at the other side. I see the Ducks playing extremely hard after an embarrassing, 6-1, home loss to the Predators this past Friday.
The Ducks have had the weekend to think about that loss and lack of effort.
The Flyers are in action for the third time in five days and second in three days. Philadelphia is riding a rare winning streak having defeated the Sharks in overtime this past Thursday and the Kings, 4-2, this past Saturday scoring an empty net goal to account for the two-goal victory.

Reason: The Buffalo Bills are 12-3 and have locked up the AFC East division crown. They still can win the best record in the AFC if they can get Kansas City to lose next week and they can win out. That's a big if though since they have to go through Cincinnati this week. The Bengals are 11-4 and can clinch the AFC North with a win here today since Baltimore lost last night to the Steelers. The Bengals have won seven straight games, including last week at New England, 22-18. These are a pair of top 10 offenses with the Bills No 2 and the Bengals No 7. The Bengals have not only won seven straight games, but they have covered seven game and 12 of their last 13 games. This is the best bettor's friend this season and especially since week two. Buffalo is coming off a easy win last week in blustery Chicago, 35-13, as a 8-point favorite. The Bills have won six straight since their loss to the Vikings back on Nov 13. The Bills haven't done well vs the number though, covering just three of their last nine games. Both teams have a lot to play for here today.
