MIDNIGHT GETAWAY - It looks like Gallardo had to be in the know about this gelding on December 15th when riding him for the initial time. Back atop again today. This gelding won at this distance on September 2nd and was at a higher class than today. Using this rider/conditioner combination is a good choice. This gelding's last speed rating is good enough to score here, I'll play him right back this time out.

FUTURE PERFECT - Just cannot play this steed. Didn't show me anything positive in the last race or on October 21st. Tough to expect much better this time. Hard to put your cash on this speedy one. Too much zip in the event. THE GOLDEN ONE - The speed fig last time out doesn't fit very well in this affair when I look at the class figure of today's race. Mark this horse as a likely underpriced contender.

Has a strong record at the distance and surface, which makes me give my vote to this filly. FEELIN SO LUCKY - There is a solid chance that this entry's late pace will improve on Lasix. Earnings per start in dirt sprint races is formidable for this pony. KAPATUDE - Players should probably take a good look at this one as this filly has one of the best win percentages at this distance in this group. Robb has her trained very well to break quickly out of the gate.

I've got to go with RUSE and is a strong value bet given the line at 12/1. Is worth looking at and may be a wager - strong Equibase Speed Figures (95 average) at today's distance and surface lately. This gelding could improve with second time Lasix. Has been running soundly lately and will almost certainly be close to the front end early on. HAKKIMI (CHI) - Sanchez has one of the most favorable winning percentages in this group with entries running at this distance and surface. FREDO - Horses who have been prepared to race at this distance and surface by Sano have shown sharp results lately. He must be considered given the solid speed numbers.
