    This came up on Sherdog. No way Mousasi only made $2K for that fight. Joe Silva mentioned that Mousasi called him, asking if it was true that the UFC had offered him $40K to show and $40K to win. (Supposedly he heard a rumor that his management had hidden this from him and he thought the offer was too low, considering he was going to make around $125K for the Affliction fight.) There's definitely no chance he accepted $2K to fight in Strikeforce. Either that's a typo or there was major money being exchanged under the table for tax purposes. I doubt Mousasi would've even gotten out of bed to take a shit for 2,000 dollars.

    I would say its being exchanged under the table. I remember seeing Fedor got 125k for his fight with Arlovski but Arlovski got 1 million.Now you know Fedor is never going to take less money than anyone he is fighting

    I think Mousasi was paid $2000 per minute in that fight.
