When this week’s Thursday Night Football game was scheduled between the San Francisco 49ers (5-8 SU, 5-8 ATS) and the San Diego Chargers (7-6 SU, 7-6 ATS), it was expected to be against the top two teams in western division in their respective conferences.

That is hardly the case even though both teams play in weak divisions.

San Francisco has struggled from the beginning and are currently in third place in the NFC West behind the St Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks, whom they thrashed last week 41-21.

Even with a losing record, this game still has possible playoff implications for the 49ers when it kicks off at 8:20 p.m. EST at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. CLICK HERE TO READ ENTIRE ARTICLE
