GAME: Dallas Cowboys vs. New Orleans Saints 8:30PM EST

RATING: 5* New Orleans Saints -6

    ANALYSIS:

The featured Sunday game is of course the Sunday nighter on NBC which features the Dallas Cowboys traveling to the Big Easy to face NFC rival New Orleans Saints. The Saints are once again a tough out at home and additional support comes from the fact they are 18-3-1 ATS when facing non-division foes. The Saints behind QB Drew Brees are averaging 361 yards per game thru the air with a 72 percent completion rate and a 14 to 2 TD/INT ratio in the Big Easy. When the Saints enter off one loss and face a non-division opponent they have been money in the bank with a 10-1 ATS mark including a perfect 6-0 ATS when playing at home in this situation. The Saints defense has improved from a ranking of 32nd in the league in pass defense last season to a #4 rank this season under new DC Rob Ryan who by the way faces the team that fired him at the end of last season. The Dallas defense has given up huge chunks of yardage and points this season even though they get a key piece back to their defensive front it will not be enough to slow this Saints offense down. Trading points in the Big Easy is not a good game plan for opposing teams as this has proven to be a nail in the coffin when it comes to defeating the Saints and covering the spread. The Saints are a perfect 13-0 both straight up and against the spread since the 2011 season at home under HC Sean Payton. With the Saints coming in off a loss we note they are 5-1 ATS including 3-0 ATS in this situation as a host in this series. Saints are 17-2 ATS off a road loss. They are 14-1 ATS as a favorite off a road loss. New Orleans is 11-1 ATS at home coming off a road loss. The Saints are 24-8 ATS off a road favorite loss. We will lay the points on Sunday night as the Saints roll past an overmatched Dallas team. Lay it
