Just watched Bone Tomahawk a couple of nights ago. Solid Western with a horror twist. Great cast and performances. Awesome to see Kurt Russell in a Western again. (It's amazing that he didn't do another one soon after Tombstone.)
Overall I'd give it a 7/10. Not a GREAT film, but a fine way to pass a couple of hours. According to this article the budget was only $1.8 million, which makes it even more impressive and honestly I'm not even sure how that is possible.
This poster is one of the most beautiful movie posters I've ever seen:

LOL, what is this? Maybe Vitor needed the doctor's advice on nutritional supplements.

Well that's pretty interesting. Ironically enough I just asked my dad yesterday what he knew about this Ben Carson guy. (My dad's all into politics.)
Y'all think the Republicans are getting back into the White House this year?

BTW, fuck y'all for not commenting on Bone Tomahawk.

X, clever name with that porno up there. Any good "actresses" in it?
I call shenanigans on this bullshit. Over two hours long for what amounts to 3 major events in the entirety of the film. The dialogue came off as forced, as well as though it were written for a play, not a film. The things that deserved more attention and detail didn't get either. The overall story felt like it got rehashed about six times, and it seemed they were determined to shovel as much shit as they could between anything of interest as was humanly possible.
4/10, would not recommend.

Did you get fucked by a giraffe and catch teh AIDS or something?
I actually have watched it twice now and have upgraded my rating from a 7/10 to an 8/10. While I'll agree that the pace at times is a bit slow, I still thought the movie overall felt brisk even at its 2 hr 13 mins running time. And while the story is quite simple (remember the budget was only $1.8M), I enjoyed the characters so much that it was a joy just to spend time with them and watch them do their thing.
There's a reason for these scores:
Rotten Tomatoes: 88% (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/bone_tomahawk/)
Metacritic: 71 (http://www.metacritic.com/movie/bone-tomahawk)
And reviews that say things like this:
Bone Tomahawk is a proper Western, a proper horror movie, and by combining the two, becomes something else entirely, and proves hugely enjoyable for it.Bone Tomahawk may seem over-indulgent at 132 minutes, yet it’s the wayward digressions of Zahler’s script — navigated with palpable enjoyment by an expert, Kurt Russell-led ensemble — that are most treasurable in a film that commits wholeheartedly to its own curiosity value.Mr. Russell is far from the only reason to see this unexpected low-budget treat, a witty fusion of western, horror and comedy that gallops to its own beat.
