Well that's pretty interesting. Ironically enough I just asked my dad yesterday what he knew about this Ben Carson guy. (My dad's all into politics.)

Y'all think the Republicans are getting back into the White House this year?

I'd say it's Clinton's election to lose, though she's so scandal prone, you never know.

Here are Paddy Power's current odds:

            Clinton: 8/11
            Rubio: 6/1
            Trump: 13/2
            Bush: 7/1
            Sanders: 9/1
            Fiorina: 20/1
            Carson: 22/1
            Kasich: 33/1
            Cruz: 40/1

You really think America's ready to vote in a woman president?

Yeah. I'm sure it works against her, but it's not overwhelming. Democrats have a significant demographic advantage in presidential elections now.

Rubio probably has the best chance against her, given the demographics.

Overall I'd give it a 7/10. Not a GREAT film, but a fine way to pass a couple of hours. According to this article the budget was only $1.8 million, which makes it even more impressive and honestly I'm not even sure how that is possible.

This poster is one of the most beautiful movie posters I've ever seen:

I call shenanigans on this bullshit. Over two hours long for what amounts to 3 major events in the entirety of the film. The dialogue came off as forced, as well as though it were written for a play, not a film. The things that deserved more attention and detail didn't get either. The overall story felt like it got rehashed about six times, and it seemed they were determined to shovel as much shit as they could between anything of interest as was humanly possible.

                    4/10, would not recommend.

Did you get fucked by a giraffe and catch teh AIDS or something?

I actually have watched it twice now and have upgraded my rating from a 7/10 to an 8/10. While I'll agree that the pace at times is a bit slow, I still thought the movie overall felt brisk even at its 2 hr 13 mins running time. And while the story is quite simple (remember the budget was only $1.8M), I enjoyed the characters so much that it was a joy just to spend time with them and watch them do their thing.

There's a reason for these scores:

                      Rotten Tomatoes: 88% (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/bone_tomahawk/)
                      Metacritic: 71 (http://www.metacritic.com/movie/bone-tomahawk)

And reviews that say things like this:

Bone Tomahawk is a proper Western, a proper horror movie, and by combining the two, becomes something else entirely, and proves hugely enjoyable for it.
Bone Tomahawk may seem over-indulgent at 132 minutes, yet it’s the wayward digressions of Zahler’s script — navigated with palpable enjoyment by an expert, Kurt Russell-led ensemble — that are most treasurable in a film that commits wholeheartedly to its own curiosity value.
Mr. Russell is far from the only reason to see this unexpected low-budget treat, a witty fusion of western, horror and comedy that gallops to its own beat.

I dont particularly like them. About the only one I ever finished was that one with Seth McFarline and Im not even sure that counted as a western.

Honestly, no. Even though Tombstone is my favorite movie of all time, I never liked westerns.

Tombstone is incredible and in my opinion the best Western of all time.

But I enjoy the genre as a whole, at least a lot of the newer stuff. I don't give a fuck about John Wayne or any of that.

I enjoy the setting of the Wild West, the adventure and the sorts of characters that you find in these stories.
