The Departed FTW!

The departed was good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as Shutter Island.

Have you seen Shutter Island?

Not yet, Ill probably check it out this weekend. Ill let you know where I rank it among Scorsese.

My top 3 Scorese flicks:

1-Goodfellas
2-Casino
3-Departed

Not a bad list. I'm not sure Shutter ranks up there with Goodfellas or Casino, but I did like it better than The Departed. I also really liked Gangs of New York.

I'm primarily an arts reporter, so I'm sure I'll have some more reviews for you guys throughout the semester.

There's a lot of stuff coming up in March that I've got my eye on.

I just watched District 9. Pretty good, fucked up ending though.

I watched District 9 last week and actually like it,didnt think id like that type of movie but it was really good

I thought the ending was good

We rented two chick flicks tonight

Love Happens (horrrible didnt like it)

and

Its Complicated .(I actually liked it ,had some funny parts and was a good movie)

I saw it Saturday night, fuckin weird movie.

Havent seen it but its on my list of upcoming to watch.

Just watched Edge of Darkness with Mel Gibson.

It was ok but wasnt as good as I thought it would be .I expected a little more

If you have a soft spot for kids, the movie, The Lovely Bones will make you ball your eyes out.

Mark Walberg is in it. Its about a 14 year old girl that gets murdered by her neighbor. I don’t think I ever watched a movie where I was fighting back tears for 2 hours.

Man I'll be honest with you.Me and the lady sat down to watch it last night and turned it off half way through ,we thought it was that bad. Maybe its because we dont have kids or maybe we didnt watch enough of it. The little girl had just died when we turned it off

Next up on the list is 2012 and Angels and Demons

just watched 2012 and wasnt impressed at all .It was just another "Day after tomorrow" movie

Just watched Up in the Air .It was ok .It was a slow movie with nothing exciting in it but was a decent movie overall.
