View Full Version : Is there still value in Gray Maynard at -280?

What do you guys think? He opened at -125 and holy shit I wish I had gotten in on that! It looks to me like all the value has been bet out of this line, but I'm considering throwing a bet in anyway. I always hesitate to bet on anything -200 or above, though. The risk-to-reward ratio is just so low.

That seems a little pricey now. I know Huerta has been out of action for a while, and Im not even sure he wants to fight anymore, but he was a decent fighter before his whole "acting" fiasco.

Too many variables for me, but If I were betting, I think Maynard would probably win.

That's pretty much the advice I've gotten everywhere and I think I agree. He'll probably win, but Huerta does have skills, and -280 is a little expensive. I'll probably just leave this alone or throw him into a parlay unless a lot of money comes rushing in on Huerta and drives Grays price down (not holding my breath there).

just my opinion but I would never take anything at -280 that opened at -125 .Its best at those odds unless you think its a awesome bet to leave it alone

Well, the question really is whether there is still value there. I know one guy who says he thinks Gray is a good bet up to -340. I can actually get him at -240 if I open an account with Sportsbook. I'm considering it.

Hey, a win's a win if you have money out there.

With that said, I'm not a big Maynard fan and I'd love to see Edgar beat him in a rematch and get a title shot.

-240 is a lot better than -280 and if your friend says its a good bet at -320 then you should take the -240. I dont know much about these fighters so I can only speak for the odds and not the actual fight
