A light-heavyweight bout between former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin and TUF 2 alum Keith Jardine is being discussed for UFC 110 on Feb. 21 at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.
News of the possibility of the bout was first rumored on popular MMA forum, The Underground, which sites sources close to Sherdog's Greg Savage. According to the source, Jardine vs. Franklin will likely serve as the events co-headline bout.
Franklin (25-5) is 1-1 in his last two fights, which both took place at a 195-pound catch weight. He first scored a unanimous decision win over Wanderlei Silva at UFC 99 in June and was then defeated by Vitor Belfort via first round TKO at UFC 103 in September. Franklin has put together a solid 12-4 record during his six year tenure with the UFC, scoring notable Octagon wins over Ken Shamrock, Nate Quarry, David Loiseau, Yushin Okami Travis Lutter and Matt Hamill.
Besides the UFC, Franklin has competed for other notable promotions during his nine-year career such as SuperBrawl, Alaska Fighting Championship and Extreme Challenge. He has finished 22 of his 25 career wins and holds other notable career victories over the likes of Travis Fulton, Marvin Eastman and Anthony Rea.
Jardine (15-6-1) is currently on a two fight losing streak, with losses coming against Quinton Jackson and most recently Thiago Silva at UFC 102 in August. Prior to the losses, he scored a split decision win over Brandon Vera at UFC 89.
Jardine has been up and down during his four-year UFC career, putting together a 6-5 record with the promotion and notching big Octagon wins over Wilson Gouveia, Forrest Griffin and Chuck Liddell. During his eight-year career, the Jackson's Submission Fighting product has competed for notable promotions such as King of the Cage, Pancrase and Rage in the Cage.
Though officially unannounced, UFC 110 will likely be headlined by an explosive middleweight contest between Wanderlei Silva and Yoshihiro Akiyama. In addition, heavyweight sluggers Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic and Ben Rothwell will battle it out, and a middleweight bout between Nate Marquardt and Chael Sonnen is also slated for the event.

I agree, I think Franklin wins. This will probably be 3 losses in a row for Jardine. Not good for my boy Keith.
