Taking Floyd Mayweather -300 to win 3 units

This fight is almost two months away but I think its good to get it in now because once the Manny fight is over tomorrow everyone will turn their attention to this fight and push the line up imo

Mosley imo just doesnt stand a chance in this fight . He has fought two good counter punchers in his career(Winky and Vernon) and lost to both fighter twice each. He couldnt beat these two counter punchers 6 and 8 years ago when he was in his prime and on roids so how on earth is he going to beat the best counter puncher in the game? He wont

Mosley use to put alot of combinations when fighting but since he has aged he mosting flicks the jab out and tries to hit people with the hook and or the most part throws no combinations anymore.

I think alot of people are giving Mosley a chance based on his fight with Margarito. After rewatching that fight I think Margaritos head was completely out of the fight .Remember he had just been caught with plaster paris in his wraps .Personally I think he was thinking "oh shit I'm in deep crap" I believe he was thinking about how much trouble he was in ,how long he was going to be suspended ,if his career was over and many other things other than the fight he was about to fight in that he had already been paid for.

Mosley is almost at retirement while Floyd is still in his prime .I dont even think if Mosley was in his prime he would stand a chance

Risking 9 units to win 3

I don't even know who this Mosley clown is, but seeing as how you're that confident I've been taking Floyd Mayweather against anyone and everyone since I started doing boxing bets, I went ahead and jumped on him for 5u at -335.

You know, what I'm trying to figure out is why Mayweather isn't like -500 or worse EVERY fight. I mean, he's never lost. It really seems like he should be getting GSP kind of lines.

Because he keeps moving up in weight. Its just when Silva moved up to fight Forrest ,the odds were only -200 for that fight. People think when fighters move up it wont work

I still think there is value at -360 though. Let's be completely honest, no way Mayweather loses this fight, let alone Mosley win it, if you know what I mean.

Any profits I make in this fight will be reinvested in the mega fight in November between $ Mayweather and Pacquaio. Cannot wait for those lines, 125/105 line in favor of Money May IMO and I will bet the mortgage on Floyd.

Agree -300 or -360 isnt going to matter .

I think Mayweather is going to be around -135 to -145 for the Manny fight

I just realized my book has a line on this fight (sports.com) and is taking action as long as the fight takes place in 2010.

Mayweather -125
Pacquaio -105.

Better odds than I thought, I thought Mayweather would come in at like -155.

From a boxing guy:

Mayweather is making more in one bout (>$22mil) than the entire UFC roster in 2009 per disclosed pay figures

I'm not sure if he's taking a shot at how shitty Dana pays UFC fighters or just making a point of how much Mayweather makes per fight. They are expecting 1.5 to 2 million PPV buys for this event.

Well Garcia-Jung was great for the fact that it was two guys who completely went balls out for 15 minutes throwing everything they had into every single punch and were still standing at the end. As far as all time MMA slugfests go I think the only one topping it is Don Frye vs Takayama, but it really just consisted of a guy with no technique vs a guy with a chin that doesn't quit.

On the other hand, even though I had a mega-bet on Mayweather (5u is pretty much my max and very rare for me considering it's about 10% of my bankroll), there was a small part of me that would've been cool with seeing Mayweather get knocked the fuck out.

I'm not saying I wanted it. It would've been a substantial setback for me.

But it was kind of like seeing Melendez tool Aoki even though I had a bet on Aoki. As a fan, it was what I wanted to see more. The satisfaction of knowing Aoki will now have to shut the fuck up about the superiority of Japanese MMA and has been humbled a bit is worth losing a unit in the long run.

I have this same sentiment all the time. The fan in me supports one outcome while my wallet supports another. In those fights, it makes it a little easier to lose...

Even though I bet on Cain to beat Nog, I would have been almost as happy if Nog would have won. I almost would have paid the 5 units I had on Hughes to see Renzo submit him.
