30 Dime release on the Titans plus the points over the Colts. Tennessee is currently between a 3 to 3 1/2 point pup in this game. Go ahcead and buy the 1/2 point insurance on the Titans at anywlere from +3 to +4 1/2.

No way Manning loses back-to-back games in primetime, right? WRONG! Oddsmakers know what the public perception is, and they're playing them like a fiadle, setting a line that looks like a tremendous bargain, when in fact, the Colts could EASILY lose outright here. Say what you will about Tennessee struggling, but the Indy is no better (right now), and laying anything on the road in this spot is just plain silly.

We've known for some time now that this isn't the same Colts team we all remmeber from year's past. Their defense has grown old in a hurry, and what was once a ferocious group of young, heady players is now one of the lesser defenses in the NFL. That is the diffcerence here, as for as bad as the Titans have been, at the very least, they still have their defense to fall back on, which allows 18 ppg on 318 total yards this season. Colts on the other hand, are surrendering 35 ppg over their L3 games!

Bettors love to hate on this Titans offense, and while admit they'v been putrid of late, the return of Kerry Collins will help them tremendously. Yes, I know he had issues against Jacksonville, but he'll have a much easier time against a reeling Colts defense. How do I know that? Because I know the Titans will be able to run the ball effectively on this Indy stop-unit which is getting stampeded on the ground for 171 yards/game (4.5 ypc) over their L3 games! True, the Titans are also having issues against the run of late, but we all know the Colts CAN'T run the football, so that's not nearly as big a factor.

Public bloodbath tonight, as the Titans get back to doing what they do best, running the rock and playing defense. Colts have hidden behind Manning all season, but now that he's strulgling, we've seen them get totally exposed for what they really are: an average football team with a below average defense. Tough match up for Indy, especially on the road. Take the Titans plus the points (remember to buy the 1/2 point insurance) over the Colts Thursday.

Despite the Tennessee offense coming to a relative stand-still (39 total points their last 4 games), I am going to back this Titans-Colts meeting to go OVER the posted total.

I am also well aware of the fact that both meetings last year stayed UNDER the total, and 9 of the last 10 have also stayed LOW, but I just get the feeling that tonight's game will top the posted price (45 points as I type this analysis).

Peyton Manning has been throwing pick-after-pick of late, and you just know that with Indy's lack of a viable running option he is going to have to continue to air the ball out. That being the case, he is either going to continue his turnover trend (which will lead to some short fields for the Titans), or he is going to have a huge night as he bounces back from his recent woes.

Indianapolis has played 3 straight OVERS coming into this game, and have been OVER the total in 4 of their last 5 games overall.

This total is just low enough that I think we are going to see a late score land it in the OVER column.

Not many games on the NBA docket, but the Magic and Blazers showdown out west is a game that really catches my eye. The numbers seem to be on the side of the Blazers, but what I see is a big opportunity for a Magic team in a small rut to break out and prove themselves on the road. Stan Van Gundy has a solid record when taking this team out west for road trips, meaning that his motivational skills are excellent when it comes to instilling that "Us versus The World" mentality that is necessary to win games on the road against tough opponents. The Magic are finally healthy again after getting over a nasty stomach flu that temporarily ravaged the team. Portland's on a two game win streak, but I don't think they are gonna know what hit them tonight when Orlando puts their top ranked defense on display. The Magic got a much needed extra day of rest, and I believe they will be rejuvenated and motivated when stepping onto the court against the Blazers. I see the Magic winning a close one, so take them on the Moneyline to be safe.

Philly has been playing well of late, banking some wins against sub-par teams, but tonight in this primetime, nationally televised matchup, I see the veterans of the Celtics stepping up BIG, and showing the country that they are still the beast of the east. Boston has covered the number in 8 out of their last 9 road games, so let's lay the wood!

We get good value with a Temple team that's cashed the ticket in 3 of the last 4 in this series, including as a 10 point road dog last season in which they were a bucket away from the upset. We'll look for the vengeful Owls to be on top of their game here. They have a good blend of talent and experienced backcourt in Fernandez and Moore who take care of the ball on offense and are tenacious defenders. The Owls are 6-1 ATS as a home dog and play well on Thursdays at 7-3 ATS. GT is cruising but won't have an easy time here where the Owls are 37-13-1 ATS.

As this play goes out this line is currently moving around. Everyone is going to open up talking about how Indy is undefeated against the spread when playing on a Thursday night, or they're going to tell you that this is a trap game set up by Vegas and that the Titans aren't dead, but when the numbers break down where would you want to side with? The Colts are 3-1-2 ATS on the road this year and 10-3-1 ATS in their past 14 road games. The colts have also covered the number the past 3 meetings against each other. While the Titans are riding a 5 game SU and ATS loosing streak. The titans are averaging an amazing 7 points per game. In those last 3 their offense is barely averaging over 250 yards. The Colts and Manning are struggling in the turnover battle but ask yourself how long can Peyton struggle. This game is a trap that Vegas will go away empty handed on. Lay the points tonight and watch the Colts return

5* Tenn - We have been fading Indy, except when they are a dog, because like we said when we took Dallas, Indy is banged up and suffering from the SB hangover. Now Tenn isn't in much better shape, and to win this game we need Chris Johnson to run wild, and Kerry Collins to play well. We said Dallas needed to run the ball, and they did for 217 yards. Now Tenn needs to follow the same game plan. We can't depend on Manning throwing 3 picks, I highly doubt that is going to happen again. Lets take Tenn to the bank on this one. 5* TENN
