Whats up guys? I've been using local book for 8 years now and am getting tired of using them. Usually three to four NCAA totals a night available, certain NCAA games are -120 both sides, and basic teasers are -110. I believe these are all unusual compared to other books. What books do you guys use and recommend? Do you use multiple books so you can shop for the best lines?

I used Betus before switching to my local and I loved it, but it was hard to get any money out without paying fees or having to wait for a check to be mailed. Thanks for any advice and have a great day.

Good luck to all!!

I use a local too, but bookmaker, and sportsbook.com were always good for me. 5dimes seems pretty popular among some of the guys too.

At your local, do you pay -110 for basic teasers? Do you get more than 3-4 totals a night in NCAA hoops? Just curious if this is common or am I getting bad odds? Thanks for the advice in regards to what books to use. Will check it out.

I would probably get -110, but I never play them. And I haven't played a total in any sport for a couple years.

I got a good relationship with my guy though. Half the time, If I call him for like, a MEAC basketball total, he would just ask me what number I see out there, and he will take that.

I'm sure someone else will chime in, but let me know if you have any more questions.

5dimes has 4.5 basketball teasers that pay +100 and all their totals are -110 on each side, they also have every game up

I've used sports.com for 5 years and have no complaints although they are below average on MMA/boxing which I know a lot of the guys on here are all about. I'm more of a football and basketball bettor so it suits me fine.

I'm a big fan of Betus.com no problems depositing or withdrawing cash.

Not to hijack the thread, but how do you find a local book?

You really just have to run into someone, who knows someone. Thats pretty much how I did anyway.

Basically. The first one I got hooked up with was from a guy I worked with .

Same here as Luke and Zak. Always a friend of a friend or through a co-worker. Once in awhile, if you go into your local watering hole and see a guy sitting on the corner table or corner stool with some folded up papers in front of him, a pen, and his phone in front of him, you can assume he's a local. This has only happened to me once or twice and is kinda risky though. Goodluck.
