For the longest time, the Texas Rangers were all about hitting and just never had the arms to make any headway. Now this team is dominated by good pitching. The next in line for those honors may be Alexi Ogando. Ogando was brought up last year and proceeded to go 4-1 with a stellar 1.30 ERA, and he has backed that up by making his 2011 debut with six scoreless innings. Justin Verlander is a top-of-the-rotation pitcher, and when he has been on full four days of rest, the Tigers are 8-2 to the UNDER in his last 10. The Rangers have a 23-11-1 mark vs. a pitcher with a WHIP of 1.15 or less. I know it is early, but Verlander is of that quality.

The Boston Celtics have had injury issues down the stretch, and the roster has changed substantially. They have had problems finding offensive chemistry with players rotating in and out with new arrivals and injuries. To their credit, Washington has not quit, playing some of their best basketball down the stretch and they always seem to give Boston a handful. The Celtics, while struggling on the offensive end, have really stood their ground on defense. The legs are getting old, and Boston has fared poorly on no rest at 2-9 ATS in their last 11. The Wizards are 4-1 ATS at home in their last five.

Taking Tampa here. We get the Sox off a huge win over thier bitter rivals the Yanks. On ESPN no less, where we saw Beckett dominate a hot hitting Yanks lineup. But this Monday. New pitcher. Dice K. Who short of a couple blips on the radar has been terrible for the Sox. Boston has lost 4 straight of his starts to Tampa, and are just 1-5 in his last 6 home starts vs the Rays. I do like 'Hellboy'. We rolled out an under the last time this kid was on the hill. He did his part striking out 10 in 5.2 innings. Helly is the real deal, and I will take his young power arm vs the aging Dice K. This Rays team is different than last years version. Still, they took 7 of the last 10, and won 11 of the 18 times they played. Tampa steals this one as the combination of Dice K, Yankee hangover and Hellboy! 4* TB RAYS

Taking the Reds. This is more of a fade of Latos then a play on Volquez. Latos fresh off the deal from a strained shoulder. He will be watched closely here. I mean, the kid finished last year going 0-5 with a 8.18 ERA. Maybe he just hit a wall. Whatever the case might be, until I see him throw some 8 inning 3 hit, 1 run gems, I am going against him, especially with a feeble lineup behind him. 4* CINCINNATI REDS

Taking the Tribe here. Ok, maybe we are getting suckered in here. Chatwood going for the pushed back Haren here. It is his first career start. He played in A and AA last year. He is the Angels top pitching prospect. That being said, he is still just a prosepect pitching his first game. Tribe the hottest team in MLB winners of 7 straight. We have played the Angels a couple times this year, twice with Weaver, their offense has not impressed me. Indians seem to be swinging the bats well and getting solid pitching. At this huge price, we can't let it get by us. Woof 4* CLEVELAND INDIANS
