The Rangers won three of the four meetings, including wins of 7-0 and 6-0. Both teams say the regular-season dominance of the Rangers means nothing now... which isn't surprising because the media will twist any situation in order for the Capitals to look better. The fact is that the Capitals are easily thrown off from their game even with their new defensive strategy. The Rangers have a lot of grinders and they are backed up by one of the best, if not the best, goal tenders in the league. Lundqvist will shut down scoring attempts while Ranger capitalize on Washington's mistakes.

On Wednesday the MLB Totals play is on the Under in the Florida at Atlanta Game. Rotation numbers 957/958. The Total is just 7 here. However when we take a look at the pitching match up, we see why. Florida has their ace on the mound in J. Johnson. While Atlanta counters with T. Hudson. Both pitchers have started the season in excellent form. Hudson has allowed 3 runs in 14+ innings thus far this season and allowed 5 runs in 21+ innings last season in 3 home starts vs Florida. Johnson allowed 3 runs in 18 innings last season vs the Braves and has allowed 3 combined runs in his 2 starts this season. This game sets up like a classic pitching duel between two aces. If the bull pens hold their form and these two do what's expected this one stays under. The Houston Rockets played great basketball during the second half of the season, but despite a season record over the .500 mark they are denied a playoff spot because the West simply has too many good teams. They spent a lot of energy in the process and, with a nothing game on the road, I can hardly see any effort being made in this one. Minnesota has not had a lot to cheer about this season with just 17 total wins, would like to at least have one feel good to close the curtain on the 2010-11 season. The Rockets are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 as a road favorite of 5-10.5. The T-Wolves have done a nice job bouncing back after getting torched for 125+ in their last game, at 4-1 ATS in their last five.

The Sacramento Kings will probably be playing their last game in Sacramento tonight. I really like how well the Kings have played down the stretch and tonight they will have a sellout crowd against the Lakers. The Lakers earned a hard fought victory last night over the Spurs backups, but it was not easy. I like the way the Kings have been getting to the foul line and staying in games. This team has a lot of young talent and they will play their hearts out tonight at home. The problem is they do not play great defense so I expect the Lakers to score a good amount of points. Let’s go with the Kings money line and the Over in a rare parlay. It’s the last day of the regular season so lets have some fun with it and get geared up for the playoffs this weekend.

Taking the Royals here. Had KC as the free play yesterday, and we lost in teh bottom of the 10th. Davies isn't exactly setting the world on fire. KC is 5-6 vs the Twins in his starts. Twins 4-4 in Liriano's starts vs KC. Liriano isn't exactly mowing them down either. Liriano has given up 8 earned in 9.1 innings with 8 Ks and 8 BBs. Minny hitting .217 vs righties. KC at least bringing their bats to the ballpark hitting .279 vs lefties. This Twins team just hasn't responded well to their new ballpark offense wise. 4* KC ROYALS

Taking Doc here. Never going to lay the real number with this guy. This is as much a fade of Lannan as it is backing Doc. Lannan 0-7 in his last 7 home starts and 1-11 last 12 starts overall vs the Phillies. For his career, Lannan 0-8 with 6.09 ERA vs Philly. Doc 8-1 with a blistering 1.96 ERA lifetime vs the Nats. 4* PHILLIES RL

Going UNDER here. This is simply based on the fact that Wade, Bosh and LeBron are all out. Add in Miller and Dampier and Haslem who have injuries and this is a depleted Miami team. For the Raptors leading scoring Bargnani is out and is 3rd scoring Barbosa. Plus Weems, Calderone and Johnson. This team will be suiting up people who paid for 2nd row tickets. Miami just wants to get to the playoffs. They may score 70 tonight. Raptors tossed in the towel sometime around December 5th. Since then they have won 11 games. And now they are favored. Ah, the last day of the regular season.. 4* UNDER Heat/Raptors

Taking the Canucks here. I do like dogs, especially in the NHL playoffs. But the play here is on Vancouver. Canucks arguably the best team during the season. Vancouver can get some sweet revenge over the team that knocked them out of the playoffs the last 2 years. On to the Blackhawks. The defending champs have looked like anything but. They were terrible during the year. They needed a Dallas loss just to make it to the playoffs. They couldn't even get in on their own. That is all I need to see about this club. Canucks, clearly better. Huge revenge. I think they lay it on Chicago here in Game 1 to the tune of a 4-1 win. Lay the goals. 4* VANCOUVER GL +180
