The Cards' pen has allowed 13 runs in the 14.67 innings Garcia could not finish, for an ERA of 7.98 after he leaves, opening the door for trouble. The Cubs have something else going for them as they have been at their best when facing a lefthander, where they are now 12-4 in their last 16.
