So if DREAM is dead then how the fuck do they keep putting on events?

poopoo333

It's not dead.

what you mean,did I miss some-ting?

SPX

Supposedly JMMA is dead and DREAM is hemorrhaging money, which is why fighters haven't been getting paid.

And yet they keep going.

Odds are out at Bodog:

I'm thinking Kawajiri might be good at that price.

Svino

I'm a little surprised Inoue isn't a favorite over Uno.

poopoo333
09-22-2011, 03:57 PM
Who is are the guys Cullum and Freire are fighting? Can Banuelos beat Tokoro? Kawajiri -185 looks good.

poopoo333
09-22-2011, 04:02 PM
There I go, mixing Cullum and Mulhern up again.

MMA_scientist

I officially do not bet on JMMA.

Half of the fights are fixed and the other half the judging is pretty much random (not unlike our American judging).

poopoo333
09-22-2011, 04:44 PM
Why? You won your last JMMA bet.

Mr. IWS
09-22-2011, 04:45 PM
Are we merging all of the Dream 17 event threads into one?

So no thoughts on Kawajiri this go around?

MMA_scientist
09-22-2011, 04:59 PM
Oh. I kind of recall doing that, but I don't see anything begging to be bet. If I saw something I had to have, I would probably do it.

Hansen always screws me anyway, whether I bet on him to win or lose.

Aoki should never be -600. He gets knocked out all the time and Rob could definitely catch him.

So no thoughts on Kawajiri this go around?

Hansen is a wild card, sometimes he is awesome, sometimes he sucks. Kawajiri should be able to get it down, but Hansen is scrappy. Basically, I have no thougts.

Breakdown, PP?

I think he is gonna take him down and beat him up. duh

But it is Japan and Hansen might get the decision for being active off of his back...wasn't this the case against Ishida?

Anybody here see value in Rob Rob McCullough @ +400
Aoki's standing is not really good. Rob could defenetely knock him out.
And I am not comparing Aoki jiu jitsu to rob's but McCullough has never been submitted in his whole carreer so I guess it would not be an automatic submission win for Aoki even if it goes to the ground.

Vandelay
09-23-2011, 02:52 PM
Eh, McCullough isnt a power puncher really. plus its in japan and hes brought in to basically lose.

Thoughts. . .

1. Damn, guess I should've made that Kawajiri bet.

2. Glad to see Harris won.

3. What's the deal with Sakuraba? Is he just too damn old to win fights anymore?

4. Uno has been having a rough go of it.

Luke
09-24-2011, 02:54 PM
Sakuraba is 42 years old and has been fighting since 1996 so in fight years he's probably closer to 60......I mean look at Shamrock and Gracie skill level right now .
