See spot. See spot bet: This week's best spot bet opportunities
By JASON LOGAN

Spot bets are a classic handicapping practice that have proven profitable no matter what sport you’re betting. Whether it’s a team looking past this week’s opponent, one coming off a hard-fought victory, or a rough patch of schedule, bettors can find value picking their spots.

Lookahead spot

The Miami Heat take their 26-game winning streak on the road this week, traveling to Orlando, Chicago, New Orleans and San Antonio to round out the month. Obviously, the big game on the slate is versus the Spurs on March 31. Not only could this be the end of Miami’s incredible run but the game also serves as a possible finals preview, with both clubs boasting the best overall record in their respective conference.

But, before that showdown in San Antonio, the Heat make a stop in the Big Easy. New Orleans is actually playing well heading into this week. The Hornets are 2-1 SU and ATS in the first three games of a seven-game homestand which has them hosting Denver, the L.A. Clippers, Miami and Cleveland before the end of March. The Bugs could catch Miami - which is just 1-3 ATS in its last four outings – looking ahead to the Spurs.

Letdown spot

Florida Gulf Coast is the darling of the NCAA tournament, and rightfully so. The Eagles are the first No. 15 seed to advance to the Sweet 16 after shocking Georgetown and San Diego State in their opening two games of the tournament. They were able to surprise their opponents with their athletic brand of basketball on short notice but won’t have that luxury when they take on state rival Florida in Arlington Friday.

The four-day layoff between rounds gives UF head coach Billy Donovan – a defensive mastermind - plenty of time to dissect FGCU’s game plan. Not only that, but the break puts any momentum the Eagles had on ice. The media attention could be more than Andy Enfield’s kids – and wife – can handle and could leave FGCU fat and happy just to be playing in the second week of the tournament. I’m sure the Gators are also a bit chapped about the lack of love from locals heading into this improbable Sunshine State matchup.

Scheduling spot

The Los Angeles Kings will find out if they’re still a Stanley Cup-quality club on their current five-game road swing. The Kings, who have played well at home (12-4-0-1), haven’t been able to get the job done in opposing barns, posting just a 5-8-1-0 record heading into Monday’s game in Chicago. Los Angeles has been a homebody this month and has played only three road games since Feb. 23, losing all three.

Following that contest with the Blackhawks, L.A. makes its way to St. Louis, Minnesota, Dallas, and Phoenix – the only team in this stretch not in the playoffs as of Monday. The Kings have one of the best defenses in the NHL, allowing just 2.24 goals against per road game. The trouble is they only score 2.24 goals for away from home and have a winning percent of .370 in one-goal games – fourth lowest in the league.

Knicks at Celtics: What bettors need to know

New York Knicks at Boston Celtics (-3, 190)

Just over a week ago the Boston Celtics were likely entertaining thoughts of surpassing the New York Knicks atop the Atlantic Division. How things have changed. The Celtics have lost four straight while the once-struggling Knicks have won four in a row, taking some of the drama from their meeting Tuesday night at TD Garden. Further sapping the intrigue is the fact that Boston will be without All-Star forward Kevin Garnett as he battles a left ankle injury.

While Boston has its share of injury concerns, New York's relative return to health has reversed its fortunes and helped solidify the club's hold on the division lead. Carmelo Anthony has averaged 28.7 points in three games since returning from a knee ailment and fellow All-Star Tyson Chandler may return from a neck injury when the team gets to Boston, if not soon thereafter. Chandler has missed six straight games, including the Knicks' 110-84 rout of Toronto at home on Saturday.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, TNT

ABOUT THE KNICKS (42-26): New York coach Mike Woodson has already said that forward Kenyon Martin will return to the bench once Chandler returns, but that is not an indictment of Martin's play. The veteran had 18 points, seven rebounds and a pair of blocks in the win over Toronto and is shooting 77.8 percent (21-for-27) over his last three games. Martin wasn't with the Knicks when they won in Boston on Jan. 24, snapping an 11-game losing streak at TD Garden. New York enters with a two-game lead in the division over Brooklyn and a 6 1/2-game advantage on Boston.

ABOUT THE CELTICS (36-33): While Boston has hit the skids, three of its four losses came on the road, the home game was against the unbeatable Miami Heat and all four came by an average of only 4.3 points. In addition, it showed it can put up a fight when shorthanded. Playing without Garnett and Courtney Lee, who was also out with an ankle injury, the Celtics pushed Memphis to the finish line Saturday before falling 110-106. Jordan Crawford scored 21 of the bench's 44 points. "They were great," coach Doc Rivers said of his reserves. "We basically told them to go in and try to cause havoc, and they did that."

TRENDS:

* Knicks are 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall.
* Celtics are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 home games.
* Over is 4-0 in Celtics’ last four home games.
* Under is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Boston.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Lee, who has made six of his last eight 3-pointers, is expected to return.

2. Streaky Knicks swingman J.R. Smith shot 3-for-16 in the previous meeting. He shoots 37.8 percent on the road, compared with 43.2 percent at home.

3. The rivals meet for the fourth and final time on Easter Sunday at Madison Square Garden.

Canadiens at Penguins: What bettors need to know

Montreal Canadiens at Pittsburgh Penguins (-140, 6)

The Pittsburgh Penguins have sailed past the Montreal Canadeins and into first place in the Eastern Conference during their 12-game winning streak. The Canadiens will try to take their revenge when they visit the Penguins on Tuesday. Not content with the winning streak, Pittsburgh has been fortifying its roster with a pair of trades in recent days and hopes to have Brenden Morrow and defenseman Douglas Murray on Tuesday.

Montreal had a seven-game points streak (6-0-1) come to an end with a 2-1 loss to Buffalo on Saturday but has kept its defense in top shape. The Canadiens have not surrendered more than three goals in any of their last eight games and will be trying to shut down a Penguins club that leads the NHL in scoring average. Montreal is kicking off a big two-game road trip in Pittsburgh, with a stop at the Boston Bruins coming up on Wednesday.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, TSN2 (Montreal), ROOT (Pittsburgh), RDS

ABOUT THE CANADIENS (20-6-5): Montreal took a point off the Penguins in one of the more entertaining games of the season - a 7-6 overtime loss at home on March 2. That near miss against coach Michel Therrien’s former team came during a strong offensive stretch for the Canadiens that saw them average 4.4 goals over an eight-game period. They have cooled off over the last four contests, totaling 10 goals, culminating with the 2-1 home loss to the Sabres on Saturday. Each of the last four meetings with Pittsburgh has needed extra time and the Canadiens have come out on top in only one of those matchups. Montreal has allowed at least one goal on the penalty kill in four of the last five games and will be taking on a Penguins team that is near the top of the league on the power play.

ABOUT THE PENGUINS (25-8-0): Morrow was considered one of the big prizes available on the trade market and Pittsburgh swooped in with an offer on Sunday. The former Dallas Stars Captain is expected to join the second line with James Neal and Evgeni Malkin as soon as Malkin returns from an upper-body injury later this week. That will give the Penguins two stacked lines with the Sidney Crosby-Pascal Dupuis- Chris Kunitz unit serving as the top trio. Morrow had totaled 11 points (six goals) in 29 games with the Stars but has experience playing alongside Neal with the Stars and Crosby on Team Canada at the 2010 Olympics. Pittsburgh stayed busy with the deal on Monday for Murray, who was picked up from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for a pair of draft picks.

TRENDS:

* Canadiens are 5-0 in their last five road games.
* Penguins are 10-1 in their last 11 vs. Northeast foes.
* Over is 7-1 in Canadiens’ last eight road games.
* Under is 6-0-1 in Penguins’ last seven overall.

OVERTIME

1. The Penguins have eight one-goal wins during their 12-game streak

2. The Canadiens claimed C Jeff Halpern off waivers from the New York Rangers. He could make his debut Tuesday.

3. Pittsburgh D Kris Letang (groin) has missed three straight games. He is day-to-day.

Where the action is: Early Sweet 16 line moves

Spreads for the NCAA tournament Sweet 16 games are up and action has trickled in at books online and Las Vegas. We take a look at the biggest adjustments on the board as Thursday and Friday draw closer.

Marquette Golden Eagles vs. Miami Hurricanes – Open: -5.5, Move: -6

Miami is quickly becoming the public darling in this tournament and the Hurricanes’ Sweet 16 matchup with Marquette is no exception. Early money is on Miami and books expect that trend to stick until tipoff.

“Unless the sharps come in on the dog, I can't see how this game doesn't close Miami -6 or more,” Michael Stewart, an oddsmaker with CarbonSports.ag, told Covers. “Marquette has to feel very fortunate to be here winning both of its games by a combined three points.”

Florida Gulf Coast Eagles vs. Florida Gators – Open: -11.5, Move: -13.5

Some markets have bumped this spread all the way to -13.5. Early action on the upstart Eagles was followed by a flood of money from the wiseguys, who think the clock is about to strike midnight on this year’s biggest Cinderella.

“People got a little excited after watching them blow away San Diego State,” Jeff Stoneback, sportsbook manager at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, told Covers. “But then the pros came back hard on Florida.”

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Arizona Wildcats – Open: +4, Move: +3.5

Sharp money immediately bet the underdog and dropped this spread half a point. Since then, it’s been good two-way money, but books aren’t sure the wiseguys are done with this West Regional semifinal just yet.

“I do believe the sharps are going to line up on this game and take the dog,” says Stewart. “I believe this line closes at Ohio State -3.”

Wichita State Shockers vs. La Salle Explorers – Open: -4, Move: -3.5, Move: -4

With these two lesser known Cinderella squads playing for a spot in the Elite Eight, books aren’t holding out hope for a big handle on this West Regional semifinal.

According to Stoneback at the MGM, the two previous games featuring WSU and La Salle had half the handle of the other Round of 32 games.

Michigan State Spartans vs. Duke Blue Devils – Open: -1, Move: -2

These perennial Sweet 16 programs clash in a battle of big names and should be one of the biggest draws for bettors. CarbonSports.ag debated opening -1.5 or -2 but went Duke -1.5 and instantly took sharp money on the favorite.

“So far, we have even action at that price so I don't see us moving off that number any time soon,” says Stewart.

Michigan Wolverines vs. Kansas Jayhawks – Open: -2.5, Move: -1.5, Move: -2

Early money is convinced Michigan has the firepower to take down the No. 1 seed in the South Regional, and has walked this line down a full point since post. But, Rock Chalk action is starting to show since the adjustment.

“At Kansas -1.5, money started showing on them so we went to -2 and haven't moved off that number,” says Stewart.

Game: Montreal at Pittsburgh (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: Game Total UNDER 5.5 -110
The Penguins are on fire. They have now gone for the even dozen, as the winning streak has reached 12. A snapshot of the streak becomes revealing as to why. Pittsburgh, over their last eight games, has allowed all of 9 goals or just a tick over 1 per contest. The Canadiens' 1-goal performance in their last outing certainly doesn't bode well here. And, the fact that they have allowed 3 or less over their last eight games certainly makes the 5.5 total here look daunting to get over the top. The Penguins have played five straight at home to the UNDER, the last four of which have not seen more than 3 total goals scored. The Canadiens have made it over the top of the total just three times in their last 12 roadies vs. a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600. Also, with five of the last seven in this series in Pittsburgh have fallen shy of the total. The UNDER gets the call in this one.

Indian Cowboy's Picks For College Basketball

3 Straight Winners after Southern Miss wins yesterday as we are on a 17-7 Run in College Basketball and 17-9 in March Madness. It's been a very strong run in March with our 1 POD System leading the way. More work to be done and we might step-out tomorrow as we look to end the season on a high note.

4-Unit Play. #658. Take Alabama -4 over Maryland (Tuesday @ 7:30pm est).

This is about conference pride here. The SEC hosts ACC contender Maryland and this is a big game for Alabama to step forward. Alabama took a big step forward with their stifling defense over Stanford at home winning 66-54 and this team is slowly but surely learning how to win games and close them out let it be home or on the road. Alabama has won 23 games this year to their credit which is two more than last year when they took a 1st round exit against Creighton losing 58-57. This team is still very young with essentially 4 sophomores and 1 junior leading the way and they will be a team to be reckoned with next year. This team plays a Maryland who is very good but one who struggles when they face strong defensive teams. Alabama is a top 20 defensive team in the country and Maryland is outside the top 250 when it comes to turnover margin. Take that into account along with Maryland 11 to Boston College and 10 to Georgia Tech in the second half of the year, two teams outside the top 70 and now they have to go on the road to face a top 20 defensive team that is ranked top 60 in most power rankings. I like Alabama at home here to do well as this team will get up to play their SEC foe as they will host them with a solid crowd behind Alabama as they root them on here. Alabama is 5-0 ATS when they face teams with a winning percentage of greater than 60% overall.

Indian Cowboy's Picks For NBA Basketball

NBA: We took New Orleans +7 over Denver yesterday in a great Outright Call. Let's keep it rolling with another winner in the NBA Today and repeat the 6-1 week we had the other week.

4-Unit Play. #652. Take Boston Celtics -2 over New York (Tuesday @ 7pm est).

The Celtics return home after a very disappointing road trip where they lost a series of games. For a team that now sits at 7th seed and only a few games up on Milwaukee to avoid being the 8th seed and facing Miami, its vital that this team get back on their horse and pick up a home win over the Knicks. New York beat this team earlier this year in Boston and this is a revenge game for Boston. Sure Boston will not have the services of Rondo or KG in this game, but they are at home and that is always and advantage for this team. Plus, they still have Paul Pierce and Jeff Green on the offensive end and this is the same team that beat Toronto by 24, Charlotte by 17 and lost to Miami by 2 points at home giving up a lead late. New York comes off a big win against Toronto and has won 4 straight contests and has played well of late. But, with Boston needing this win after a series of losses including losing every single one of their games on their 3 game road trip against 3 quality opponents in the likes of Memphis, New Orleans (who just beat Denver) its hard to hold it against Boston as they return back home. We did not make it a step-out today but I do like Boston to do well at home today and pick up the win as they get revenge and return back to form coming off a tough road trip.

Indian Cowboy's Picks For NHL Hockey

4-Unit Play. #14 St. Louis Blues Puck-Line (-1.5 Goals) (+135) vs. Edmonton (Wednesday @ 8:05 pm est)
The Oilers have dropped three of four games including a (3-0) loss to these St. Louis Blues on their home ice. The Blues are off a (3-2) loss to Calgary but have started to show signs of the great defensive team that we saw last season with some solid play of late on a three game road swing through the northwest. St. Louis is at their best at home in at the Scottrade Center where they have been a dominant team. The Blues feature one of the two best defensive teams in the NHL and struggled somewhat early and a lot of that had to do with key offensive players missing time. The Blues could be the most dangerous team in the League the last part of this season. The formula for winning of head coach Ken Hitchcock is the same as always. It's three competitive center icemen, good depth on defense and great goaltending. That's what wins in the NHL and that is what the St. Louis Blues are all about. The Oilers are (0-6) in the last (6) meetings in St. Louis, (16-41) in their last (57) Tuesday games and (34-88) in their last (122) road games. No sour notes being played by the Blues in this one as the Oilers are playing back-to-back games.

Robert Ferringo's Picks For NHL Hockey
3-Unit Pick Take #11 New York Rangers (-1.05) over Philadelphia (7:35 pm, Tuesday, March 26th)
It's about that time of year already in the NHL with every game being a important two points in the standings and that couldn't have more of a meaning with the Rangers in Philadelphia to play the Flyers. Neither team has lived up to expections heading into the shorten season with New York sitting in the eight and final playoff spot and the Flyers five points behind them. The Rangers surprise me, this team on paper is a good hockey club and while I know things don't get done on paper in any situation in life this team shouldn't be in this position. I like the Rangers chances of improving down the stretch mainly because of the front office, they just signed Mats Zuccarello for a second tour with the Rangers and Jasper Fast a 21 one year old Swed who has a ton of skill, while these moves might not catch some people eyes they will get some attention in the locker room with some guy's being the odd man out if they don't produce. The Flyers are the other hand are dead in the water, this team has no help in the minors and they just lost Danny Briere to a concussion and most likely will be without defenseman Nicklas Grossman tonight which isn't good playing in front of goalie ILya Bryzgalov who has had a heavy workload this year. I just don't think the market realizes that this is a off year in Philly and they shouldn't be a small chalk here.

2-Unit Pick Take #4 Carolina (-1.25) over Winnipeg (7pm, Tuesday, March 26th)
This one is another big one in the standings with Carolina trailing the Jets in the division race by four points but these two will still meet three more times after tonight and Carolina does have three games in hand. The Jets went on a nice run to get into that top spot in the division winning 10 of 14 games between February 19th to March 16th but have struggled lately losing two straight games at home to Washington to allow the Caps back into the race before beating the struggling Tampa Bay Lighting at home on Sunday but even that was a struggle. Carolina is a good hockey club coming off their longest break in the season after losing to New Jersey at home on Thursday, I think we get a honest effort in a important game from Carolina tonight and this price looks on the cheap side.

2-Unit Pick Take Over (5.5) Edmonton at St.Louis (8pm, Tuesday, March 26th)
Edmonton rolls into St.Louis after losing last night in Nashvile 3-2 to play a St. Louis team that beat them last week in Edmonton 3-0 and held this young offense to just 19 shots. The Oilers have a lot of young talent trying to figure out how to play at this level but this team is getting better and even in the third period last night out played and out chanced the Predators but just couldn't solve Nashville goalie Pekka Rinna. I think that effort will carry over tonight, the Blues have played to five straight unders while Edmonton has gone 1-1 and 3 pushes on the total the last five, both a small sample and is baseless. The real value here is taking back the plus thirty dollars to go over because of perception of that small sample run. Go over

15* College Basketball GAME OF THE NIGHT on Bradley +11

The Bradley Braves get the call tonight as a double-digit road underdog to the Northern Iowa Panthers. These are two familiar foes as they both come from the Missouri Valley Conference, and there's no way the Panthers should be favored this heavily because of it.

I have no doubt that Northern Iowa is overvalued here due to its two victories over Bradley in the regular season. UNI won the first meeting 84-53 at home on January 12th, and the second meeting 68-65 on the road on February 10th. The Braves will have serious revenge in mind, while the Panthers will have a hard time getting motivated to beat the same team three times.

This play falls into a system that is 116-58 (66.7%) ATS over the last 5 seasons. It tells us to bet on road underdogs of 10 or more points (BRADLEY) - revenging a home loss vs opponent, a marginal winning team (51% to 60%) playing a winning team.

Northern Iowa is 2-10 ATS when playing against a marginal winning team (Win Pct. 51% to 60%) over the last 2 seasons. Bradley is 23-13 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record over the last 2 seasons. The Panthers are 21-39 ATS as a favorite of 10 or more points since 1997. Take Bradley Thursday.

20* Clippers/Mavs TNT Tuesday Night BAILOUT on Dallas Money Line -109

The Dallas Mavericks are quietly sneaking up on that 8th and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. They trail the Los Angeles Lakers by just 1.5 games thanks to a nice run in which they have won eight of their last 11 games overall.

Dallas has been undervalued for quite some time now due to a slow start to the season. That's evident by the fact that it is 25-10 ATS in its last 35 games overall. The Mavs should be laying points to the Clippers tonight.

The Mavs come in highly motivated to make the playoffs, but they also want revenge on Los Angeles. They have lost the first two meeting in this series this season, but both of those came in Los Angeles. Dallas is 24-6 SU in its last 30 home meetings with the Clippers.

The Mavericks are 18-4 ATS in their last 22 games following a ATS loss. Dallas is 18-6 ATS in its last 24 vs. Western Conference opponents. The Clippers are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win. Los Angeles is 0-4 ATS in its last 4 vs. Western Conference foes. Bet the Mavericks Tuesday.

NBA - 653 Minnesota Timberwolves @ 654 Detroit Pistons

Projected Line: Minnesota by 3 points

Minnesota is definitely playing much better basketball than Detroit right now and even though we are talking about a team that is 8-27 on the road, I believe the Wolves should be favored on this contest. Detroit had a phase where they were competitive, but that hasn't been happening lately due to some atrocious defense. They are averaging a defensive rating of 117.4 since the All Star break and that's simply absurd! Greg Monroe has stopped defending, while the Pistons's perimeter defense has been even worse. Not only Detroit is currently the worst 3pts defensive team in the league since the All Star break with 42.5% 3pts allowed, as their pick and roll ball handler defense is currently non-existent! Detroit has been poor all season long on defending pick and rolls by being #23 in the league with 0.83 PPP allowed, but they numbers since the All Star got even worse! They simply couldn't stop Kemba Walker on their last game, who ended the contest with 10-20 FG and 25 points!

The struggles of the Pistons's defense are obviously good news for Minnesota, who has a healthy Ricky Rubio to torch Detroit's defense tonight. I expect the Wolves's backcourt to dominate this game. Jose Calderon has no foot speed to defend Minnesota's guards, while Brandon Knight returned from injury on the team's last game against the Bobcats, but he looked completely out of form with 4-10 FG, 4 assists and 5 turnovers! On the frontcourt, the duel will be interesting, but I don't expect Minnesota to get outplayed on this area. Detroit is now rotating more their players and in some moments on their game at Charlotte, the Pistons played with Jonas Jerebko and Charlie Villanueva together on the frontcourt. This also helps to explain why Detroit is struggling on defense so much right now. On the other side, Minnesota with Nikola Pekovic and Andrei Kirilenko should have talent on the frontcourt to handle Detroit down low, while the Wolves's superior backcourt should make the difference on this game. Therefore, I'll be taking Minnesota tonight.

NBA - 651 New York Knicks @ 652 Boston Celtics

Projected Line: 188 points

The Knicks are 3-0 on their last three games, but what has really caught my attention on their last games was their incredible slow pace lately! The NY team generally plays at a slow pace, but 85.34, 81.87, 83.50, 84.35 and 86.42 on their last five games is ridiculously slow! The Knicks commit a low number of turnovers, as they don't take any risks on offense. They have no presence on down low, so their offense is based on jumpers. Just take a look on their shot locations on their last five games:

%Rim %Short %Mid %Long %3P

0.18 0.07 0.04 0.18 0.28

They are also having close to 20% volume on isolation plays, while more than 25% of their plays are spot ups. Now looking to their matchup tonight against Boston, things won't be easy for the Knicks's offense. First of all, their transition game is almost non-existent and this is the only area where Boston's defense isn't good this season. Boston is playing without Kevin Garnett, but the Knicks don't haÁve anybody on offense who can pound the Celtics down low. Boston is an elite 3pts defense team with just 30.6% 3pts allowed on their last 10 games. Same goes for Boston's excellent defense on isolations and spot ups, so the Knicks won't have any edge on offense tonight on a pure halfcourt game, they will struggle tonight.

On the other side, the Celtics are certainly attacking a bit more on transitions lately with 11, 22, 14, 17 and 18 fast break points on their last five games. However, the Celtics's bread and butter on offense keeps being their long-range jumpers, an area where the Knicks's defense has considerably improved lately. Therefore, I expect this contest to be a slow paced game, with both teams having problems on offense. We have all the necessary ingredients to have a low scoring game in here and so, I'll be taking the Under tonight.

dime bet 653 MIN / 654 DET Over 195.0 Bodog Analysis:

NBA - 653 Minnesota Timberwolves @ 654 Detroit Pistons

Projected Line: Minnesota by 3 points | 199 points

***ADDED PLAY***

Therefore, I'll be taking Minnesota tonight and the Over in a shootout contest.

dime bet 655 LAC / 656 DAL Under 202.5 Bookmaker.com Analysis:
NBA - 655 Los Angeles Clippers @ 656 Dallas Mavericks

Projected Line: 199 points

I expect this contest to be a relatively low-scoring game. Dallas is coming from a nice home win over Utah, where they actually did a nice defensive job against the Jazz until they allowed them to score 28 points in the final 5:26 after the game, when the game was relatively solved for the Mavericks. Elton Brand did a really nice job on defense by limiting both Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap, so I expect them to show a good defensive effort tonight as well, on this very important game for Dallas. The main weapon that the Clippers have on offense to pound the Mavericks's defense is Chris Paul, who has a great matchup against the Mavericks's Point Guards, however he is banged up with a knee injury and if he plays tonight, he is unlikely to be at 100% physically tonight.

On the other hand, the Clippers's are playing better transition defense lately and that's really important for them, as they will play a good transition team like Dallas tonight. The LA team is #1 in the league on pick and roll defense and their only struggle has been on spot up defense, an area where Dallas has some talent, but not enough to pound the Clippers's defense tonight with a bunch of treys, especially when the Clippers's issues on this area are mostly related with laziness and lack of effort, something unlikely to happen on a close contest broadcast on National TV. I expect the pace of this game to be relatively slow, with the Mavericks showing some great effort on defense, especially with Shawn Marion putting extra pressure on a banged up Chris Paul, while the Clippers's defense should also be able to limit Dallas's transitions and pick and rolls. Therefore, looking at the high totals line, we have value on the Under tonight and so, I'll be taking it in here.
