I'd take Henderson/Thomson goes the distance up to -300

Stipe Miocic is going to fuck Gabriel Gonzaga's asshole in the middle of the octagon

Darren Elkins wins easy.

I agree with you about stipe..should be able to sprawl and brawl pretty easily. Not so sure elkins steamrolls stephens though. Curious about sergio pettis but i could see his name inflating the line. Cerrone probably blasts martins but it depends on which cerrone shows up. Martins could make that very competitive.

I am with you on you Elkins comment. Defenetely not so sure that Elkins will win, let alone streamroll Stephens.

Elkins is going to fuck Stephens so hard in the ass, that Stephens will want to go to jail again so his ass gets fucked more softly.

Stipe Miocic vs Gabriel Gonazaga:

At first glance I thought Miocic would easily run over Gonzaga. Miocic is a better striker and has the wrestling to keep the feet upright. If he wanted to take Gonzaga down..he could, except I am pretty sure Miocic's gameplan is to keep the fight on the feet. Gonzaga has pretty good power from what we have seen and there is a chance he can catch Miocic. Miocic has questionable striking defense in my opinion, but seems to be improving with each fight. His cardio is also getting better. I think Gonzaga's only out is to win by a KO early or catch a sub/get a good position in the grappling department during a scramble. Miocic looked great against Nelson, but Nelson was just plain outmatched there and Stipe had the perfect style to beat him. Miocic's striking defense looked fine against Nelson, but I can't imagine he had much to worry about against a gassed out fat ass throwing overhand rights with his head down. I strongly believe Miocic wins this fight, but his questionable striking defense is really concerning especially in a HW fight where Miocic will likely be a -250 favorite or so. I will be betting him for sure in one way or another, but I'm not going to bet it as big as I planned on doing when I found out about this fight.

I think the line will be way worse than -250

Its only -200 in Europe so I doubt it.

And I dont understand how someone who beat Roy Nelson (after getting KTFO by Struve) deserves to be that high of a fav over Gonzaga who has been blasting people lately

They are both difficult to predict.

Full odds up. I like Elkins at that line, I'm hoping it hits +150.

I will probably parlay Walt Harris and Stipe Miocic.

Nothing for me on this one, although a slight lean towards Stipe.

I'd expect Krylov to come out looking a lot better than he did in his last fight. That could still be really shitty of course.

I think the Stephens vs Elkins fight is hard to predict.

Thinking about Thomson. I think Bendo is only a slight favorite and you never know how he reacts to getting beasted by pettis. Thomson is always injured though.

So much for Elkins +150. He is +105 now.

I resisted the urge to make dozens of bets including a half dozen or more parlays as I have on previous cards. I'll be live betting on the early prelims through the main card wherever I see opportunities. We'll see how it ends up tomorrow. These are my pre-fight wagers.

UFC on Fox 10 (Risk $667.50)

Benson Henderson (-280) $140 for $50
Benson Henderson wins by UD (+185) $50 for $92.50
Not Miocic wins in round 1 (-190) $95 for $50
Donald Cerrone (-185) $92.50 for $50
Jeremy Stephens (-150) $150 for $100
Alex Caceres (+170) $50 for $85
Yves Jabouin/Eddie Wineland Over 2½ (+125) $40 for $50
Camus (-190) + Wineland (-300) Parlay $50 for $51.75

I really don't like anything tomorrow and probably wont bet anything.

Thinking a Reem-Aldo parlay might be good for next week

Not Miocic in Round 1 at -190 is pretty risky imo. Good luck though.

I kind of agree with you there. Gonzaga's 3 of his past 4 defeata have been by KO in the first round. -190 is too high for me on a play that risky

What do you guys think about Stephens by decision, which you can get at about +500 at BM and +571 at 5d?

That's pretty rare to see for a betting favorite, and it's not like he never wins by decision (Payan, Downes).

Do people really agree that if he wins, he wins early?

poopoo333
01-25-2014, 04:22 PM
I personally think Elkins wins and Stephens' only way to win is a KO. Nobody agrees with me though.

Well, OK. I do kinda favor Elkins myself, although I see it as close.

I'm still mad about the decision last night. Blood pressure is down to 300/250 now. It's getting better.

Same. Think we should put Ben Henderson on a cross. So tired of him getting decisions he doesnt deserve.

Rogan was making it seem like Ben was dominating that fight. Also, did I hear Goldberg say that Thompsons broken hand will affect his kicks?
