- All {A} bets are not part of the Exterminator system. Unless, however, if you have the ability to buy 3 points at -170 odds, then it is strongly advisable to place a small wager on all the {A} bets with buying 3 points, up to 5% of your bankroll. This is an optional betting strategy, which has proven to be a profitable one based on my research. Buying 3 points on {A} bets has won over 65% of the time over the years, so you should bet on {A} bets if you can buy 3 points at -170 odds.
-All {B} and {C} bets are qualified under both the original NBA system as well as the Exterminator system. For the Exterminator system, bet a flat percentage of your bankroll on both {B} and {C} bets. You do not need to buy any points on these bets under the Exterminator system.
- Remember to bet on the point spread (handicap line)
- If your team is a favorite, bet on the money line. If the team is a big favorite resulting in odds too unfavorable for you to be comfortable, then you can either skip the series, or bet on the point spread + 3 points as normal (only applicable under the original NBA system), but do not continue betting on the series if your team wins the game but the bet does not cover.
Always consider the injury and the best/worst road team filters. Check the injuries to ensure your team's best player isn't out. I will always make my best effort to notify you of game-changing injuries whenever I am aware of them to ensure that you don't make wagers on team that don't pass the injury filter. However, I cannot make guarantees that I will always be able to be on top of every single injury, every game, every day, at all times. Some teams may hold off on releasing relevant injury information until much later in the day. A bet will be unofficial if it does not pass the filters of the system. Michigan played very loose yesterday with Illinois and that’s a recent pattern for the Wolverines that is paying off. Michigan has scored 73, 79, and 78 points in their last three games. Curiously recent meetings with Wisconsin all would have exceeded this low total today. The last four times Michigan and Wisconsin have met the total amount of points scored ended with 133, 137, 147, and 127 points. Plus in only one of those games did either team hit 50 percent from the field. That indicates historically a faster pace than expected with the ‘OVER’ 3-1. Michigan has gone ‘OVER’ at a 7-3 clip since the start of February. Wisconsin would figure to run away with this tournament but that is a ton of point. I prefer the ‘OVER’ at 12NOON ET. Wisconsin 9-4 ‘OVER’ in their last 13 games after allowing less than 50 points in their previous game. Also the Badgers are 4-1 ‘OVER’ in their last five facing a team with a winning record. 4 Unit Play. #829 Take VCU (pk) over Richmond (2:30 pm) I will be brief with this analysis. I just do not believe Richmond is good enough to beat VCU three times in one season. VCU got a bad whistle in the second match-up which they lost in double OT and things have a way of evening themselves out. Richmond has won six straight games down the stretch but they must win the Atlantic 10 Tournament to sniff out a bid into the Big Dance. Virginia Commonwealth wants this game badly and they were looking ahead to this game and were very sluggish in their performance yesterday. That will not occur today.

4 Unit Play. #859 Take North Carolina +4.5 over Virginia (7 pm ESPN) Just not been a big believer in Virginia this season and feel they will have trouble beating North Carolina in Greensboro with a 100% Justin Anderson. Virginia is extremely well coached and they have players that fit their system but North Carolina just has better players. Virginia let a bad Florida State team hang around in the second half and I just do not believe they are firing on all cylinders at the moment (they lost to Louisville in their regular season finale). Carolina got good production from Kennedy Meeks on Thursday and I expect him to be even better on Friday. Carolina shot the ball well from the three point line on Thursday going 5-11 and if they do that again they will beat Virginia straight-up. North Carolina has covered 5 straight neutral site games. Virginia is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a victory in their previous game. The crowd propels North Carolina into the Semi-Finals and we collect in the process as well.

7 Unit Play. #866 Take Georgetown -2 over Xavier (9:30 pm Fox Sports 1) Much like Richmond, I just do not believe Xavier is a consistent enough team to beat Georgetown three times in one season. Xavier is coming off a battle last night against Butler and now must play another physical team in Georgetown in less than 24 hours. The Hoyas have been playing outstanding basketball of late winning six of their last seven games and they have revenge on their minds losing two games to Xavier both by double digits. Xavier is 3-7 ATS (1 push) in their last 11 games following an ATS victory in their previous game. 4 Unit Play. #882 Take San Diego State -3.5 over Colorado State (11:30 pm CBSSN) The Rams big man is questionable for this game and I just believe San Diego State and Boise State and destined to meet in the championship game on Saturday. Henceforth I also believe the Aztecs can cover this short number if I feel they will win the game.

3-Unit Play. Take #837 Temple (-3.5) over Memphis (2:30 p.m., Friday, March 13) I’m going with the Owls in this one. Some people think that this Temple team is a bubble team. They think they need this win to make the NCAA Tournament. But I think Temple is one of the best 68 teams in the country and they will prove it today. This is the same team that blew out Kansas earlier in the year and they have been among the top teams in the AAC for months. They are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games and they will take care of business in this game. Memphis is playing this tournament without forward Austin Nichols and that is a big blow to this team. They have just one win in their last four games and they already lost to Temple in Memphis once this year. Memphis struggles on the road and I think that Temple’s experience and their defense will get the better of them today. Lay the points.

2-Unit Play. Take #846 LSU (-9.5) over Auburn (3:30 p.m., Friday, March 13) Auburn has won back-to-back game and they look like a potential Cinderella in the SEC. But their run will end today. This is now three games in three days and Bruce Pearl doesn’t have the bench to give his guys rest. LSU is the more talented team and they are well rested. They should jump on the Tigers early and wear them out as the game goes on. LSU has two All-SEC forwards and Auburn won’t be able to stop them on the inside. LSU beat Auburn by 23 points in Auburn on Feb. 24. I think they can get a similar blowout here. Auburn has been blown out a lot in SEC play this year and they won’t be able to stop the Tigers in this one. Lay the points and bet against the tired team.

2-Unit Play. Take #880 Boise State (-5) over Wyoming (9 p.m., Friday, March 13) It was another ATS win for Boise State on Thursday and they have been one of the hottest earners in the country. They are now an outstanding 14-2 ATS in their last 16 games overall and the favorite is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings in this series. Wyoming was able to escape the Utah State game with a win last night. But they had to work hard for that game and they may struggle playing on back-to-back nights. Boise State has revenge for a rare loss at Wyoming back in January. The Broncos have only lost one time since then (16-1 run) and they are clearly the best team in the Mountain West. I think they have a great shot at winning this tournament and they should run over the Cowboys today.

3-Unit Play. #829 Take VCU (-2.5) over Richmond (2:30 p.m., Friday, March 13) 23-9 VCU have actually lost both their meetings to the Spiders this year. Despite those results, I still think the Rams are the better team. Oddsmakers agree based on the number being in favor of VCU. I don’t think Richmond can make it three straight outright as the underdog. VCU has dropped from the national rankings, so perhaps they’ll be playing with a bit more of a chip on their shoulders with a point to prove. We are going to stick with the favorite here and see them through in this one as modest chalk.

3-Unit Play. #860 Take Virginia (-4.5) over North Carolina (7 p.m., Friday, March 13) I’ll take the Wahoo over the Tar Heels here. UNC had to extert enough energy just to get a victory over Louisville yesterday, and I do not think Carolina can make it another strong performance here, especially not the way Virginia gets after it on defense. I see the ACC Conference Tournament shaping up to be a Virginia-Duke Final, so that means the Cavs would take care of business here. Lay the small number with UVA.

3-Unit Play. #868 Take Kansas (-1) over Baylor (7 p.m., Friday, March 13) The Jayhawks had to grind out a win yesterday against a fiesty TCU team. Tonight I expect them to be much better against a team they’ve earned hard-fought wins over this year just the same. Baylor, too, had to put in work to get to this game, beating ranked West Virginia on Thursday. And while it is extremely difficult to beat the same team three times in a season, I think that will be the case for KU here over the Bears after another win.

Sixers are a terrible shooting team ranking 30th in the league in eFG% and 30th in Off-Efficiency. They’re also 30th in TO-rate offensively. Typically when this team stays close in a game is when they crash the offensive glass and get a number of second-hand opportunities. Take their last game against the Bulls as an example. Philly shot below 35% from the field while allowing 46% to the Bulls, yet the game went to OT. The 17 offensive rebounds, +17 shot-attempt differential and +5 FT-attempt differential had a lot to do with it. Of course Philly also were a +8 in TO-margin as they only had 10 TO’s in the game, one of their lower marks. I think it’s unrealistic to expect the Sixers to have so few TO’s in two consecutive games as I see some regression to the mean taking place here. In addition, keep in mind that the Kings are one of the best rebounding teams in the league (#9 ORB% and #6 DRB%) and also rank #1 in getting to the FT-line offensively. I expect Sacramento to do a much better job of keeping Philly off the offensive glass while also having a positive margin in FT-attempts than the Bulls. If that’s the case, hard to see Philly covering this short number.

Orlando Magic +5

On Sunday, Orlando won at home in this matchup 103 – 98 as a +2.5 home underdog. Of course they were missing Vucevic while Boston had Isaiah Thomas at their disposal. Vucevic will play tonight while Thomas will once again be out for the Celtics. Boston survived without Thomas against a ‘fatigued’ Grizzlies squad (Memphis gave all of their key players a game-off yesterday after that debacle in Boston) but a younger and healthier Orlando team should pose a bigger challenge. Vucevic should be able to dominate the paint as Boston simply lacks the size to match up with him. In addition, I expect Oladipo to guard Bradley today, who is the de-facto primary weapon on offense with neither Thomas nor Sullinger available for the game. Oladipo has the ability to be a very good defender and hopefully he plays hard on that side of the court tonight. If that’s the case, Boston won’t have an easy time on the offensive end as they lack shooters, ranking 20th in eFG% on the season. Unlike Boston, Orlando has a few go-to guys who can score: Vucevic, Harris, and Oladipo. Taking away one offensive weapon won’t hinder this offense completely, and against a Boston team that lacks size in the paint, I like Orlando to get a number of easy buckets at the rim. Should be a pretty close game but I believe we have some solid ‘value’ with the points in this one.

Dallas Mavericks -2.5

The ‘easy’ play is to take the Clippers with the points in this game. After all, we’ve just watched Paul and Co. dominate Westbrook and OKC Thunder on the road, while Dallas got absolutely embarrassed by the Cavs on Tuesday night. Of course nothing is easy in NBA. This is a classic ‘let down’ spot for the Clippers. Paul came to play against Westbrook, as he scored 33 points on 11-19 from the field while dominating Westbrook all night long. On plays where Paul was the defender, Westbrook was only 2 for 8 from the field for 7 points while committing 7 of his 10 turnovers. Now that’s impressive. Of course to shut down Wesbrook this way you have to really exert a lot of energy throughout the game. The question is, can we expect the same kind of effort out of Paul tonight? Tonight’s game won’t be on National TV like the game @ OKC and Paul won’t have a point to prove (‘why he’s not considered in the MVP race the way Westbrook is) as no-one on the Mavs squad is being involved in the “MVP discussions”. I highly doubt that we’ll see the same kind of effort out of him as we saw on Thursday. Besides, Paul will be facing off against another “MVP candidate” in James Harden on Sunday, a game that WILL BE broadcast on ABC. Maybe tonight’s isn’t just a ‘let down’ spot, but it’s also a potential ‘sandwich’ game for Paul and the Clippers. I honestly expect Chris Paul to play at a lower intensity level tonight, especially after he tweaked his ankle against OKC. The team that I don’t expect to play at a low intensity level though are the Mavs. To get blown out by 33 points on your own home-court is simply embarrassing. To have to listen to a newcomer Amare Stoudemire question the team’s worth ethic and dedication can’t sit well. And to have to wait 3 days before the next game has got to be excruciating. If the Mavs don’t play this game like their ‘playoff lives’ depend on it, I’d be very surprised. I expect a very strong effort out of this team tonight. They lost to LAC by 20 in the first meeting when Blake Griffin dominated the game. They lost to LAC by 17 in the 2nd meeting when Griffin was out but Jamal Crawford put up 22 points off the bench. Now they’ll face this Clippers squad without either Griffin or Crawford, and with Chris Paul coming off what probably was his best game of the year on both sides of the court. If Dallas doesn’t exact some ‘revenge’ tonight and salvage at least one game from this season-series, I’d be pretty surprised.

The Bulls have lost three of their last four and then they needed OT to beat the lowly Sixers. This team is dealing with a lot of injuries and it is starting to show on the court. The Hornets lost Al Jefferson but they now have Kemba Walker back, and he is their best player and will really give the team a boost heading down the stretch run. After two straight losses the public gets down on this Hornets team but they do not do the same thing with Chicago, and that has created line value here tonight.
3-Unit Play #804 Take Philadelphia +4 over Sacramento (7 p.m. EST, Friday) Sacramento laying points on the road? No thanks. This team should not be laying points on the road and you always have to pay attention to the team they are facing when that happens. The Sixers are playing really hard lately and playing with a lot of pride. The Kings are the exact opposite. They have a lot of talent but have been slogging through the season after a strong first month and they rarely give half the effort the Sixers have been putting forth on a nightly basis. The Sixers recently beat Atlanta and they took the Bulls and Thunder to OT. They have a great chance for the straight up win here.
4-Unit Play #806 Take Boston -5.5 over Orlando (7:30 p.m. EST, Friday) The home team has covered the last six meetings in this series, and we don’t think that trend will stop on Friday. The Celtics are playing very well right now. They have won four of their last five overall. They have failed to cover in only four of their last 17 games (one push). We thought this line would and should be over 7, so we think there is some nice value here for the home favorite. Boston pretty much plays hard every night and you can’t say the same thing for the Magic and we think the Celtics want this game after losing the last two in this series in Orlando.

You know that the Wolves really get up for the games in this series and want to play well. Andrew Wiggins should have a great game tonight and the Wolves should have most of their key players. If Durant was in this game then we could justify this line for OKC, but with no Durant we think that this is an inflated line and that the Wolves will play hard all game and we expect this to be a pretty close one.

We got some line value here because the Clippers whooped the Thunder last time out. But just as this team can look like a monster one game they can come back to earth the next with a shoddy performance. And they are vulnerable here tonight, especially their defense which can’t seem to put two strong games together. Dallas is in a great revenge spot here and we think both teams will get over the century mark on Friday.
5-Unit Play #815 Take Atlanta -6 over Phoenix (10 p.m. EST, Friday) The Suns are just not playing well lately. They have scored a few wins lately, but those have come against some bad teams. They have lost by double-digits in their last four against stronger teams. And this team made some questionable moves at the trade deadline and that has really hurt the morale of this young team. Atlanta is playing with a lot of confidence and they have all season. This team does not take many nights off and they treat every game like a playoff game. We don’t see any reason they can’t win this one by double-digits, and we are getting a great line here tonight because the Hawks are the road team, but the Suns have not had much of a home-court advantage recently anyways.

2-unit Play Take #1 Dallas Stars (+165) over Washington Capitals (7:05pm EST) The Dallas Stars haven’t quite given up on a chance at the postseason. They’ve won four out of five games and are currently seven points out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. They head into Washington tonight to take on the Capitals in a big game for both teams. The Caps are hanging on to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, but they aren’t playing very well at the moment. They are just 3-5-0 in their last eight contests and have had some huge defensive lapses over the last couple of weeks. The Stars have owned the Metropolitan division this season, going 10-3-1 in their 14 meetings. They are the better team right now and I’m surprised to see such a big underdog price tag on Dallas.
