double-dime bet 823 Michigan St. 6.0 (-120) 5Dimes vs 824 Duke
Analysis: I seriously doubt the number gets better than +6 without buying it - so I'll do it now. First and foremost, the large percentage of the tickets that are on Duke that have forced the line up are public. Secondly, there are two ACC referees in the Final Four - and I DOUBT they BOTH work this game. Let's say one does and he IS biased - I have to believe the others offset that. Let's say neither of them do - I DOUBT the referees want to be factors an influence the game, so they should let them play, or at worst set the precedent(s) early. If that's the case my guess is that it is better for Michigan State if they let them play. Duke is obviously younger (and like Kentucky I do think that this game is harder for them than a Monday game - new venue with four times the amount of people and 100 times the press) and could get flustered, and if Okafor should get in foul trouble (assuming they DO call it tight early) they IMO Duke is kind of screwed inside. After him, they're just not that big. I'll finish this later or in the morning - but nobody is giving the Spartans a chance, again. I'll take Izzo and the experienced players - a great many of the Spartans team lost last year in the Regional Final to eventual Champ Uconn - and that game was in New York, a defacto home game for UConn, really. The more I think this through the more I like it - but I felt tha™t way about Miami last night - just released it too early for those that don't wait. And of course the 2H of the E'ville game was played like the 1H could have been.

3* Over 138 Michigan State/Duke
When you look at the last 3 games for both teams, you would think this line would be around 134 or less. The average score of Dukes L3 games 66-53. Mich St L3 games 62-59 (not counting OT). I’m sure many people will disagree with my thinking, but just hear me out for one minute.
The average bettor will just look at the scores of the last few games for both teams and then look at the line for this game. What they will see is an average of 119pts scored in Dukes L3 games and 121pts in MSU L3 games. Now they see 138 for tonight. What a f*ckin bargin they say. I say the line makers know what the hell they are doing.

8-Unit Play. Take #824 Duke (-5.5) over Michigan State (6:10 p.m., Saturday, April 4)
AND
4-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 138.5 Duke vs. Michigan State (6:10 p.m., Saturday, April 4)
I love the Blue Devils in this one and this is my favorite play of the NCAA Tournament. Duke has gone 4-0 ATS in the tournament and they are coming off a big blowout win over a very good Gonzaga team. Michigan State is a No. 7 seed and they are fortunate to have won all for of their games. They needed overtime to beat Louisville and I think they are just happy to be in the Final Four. Duke won't be happy until they claim the title and they are the much better team in this one. These two teams actually met back in November in Cameron Indoor. Duke won by 10 points in that game and covered an eight point spread even though they were starting three freshmen. Those three freshmen are grown up now and this is a much better team overall. The Blue Devils are 8-1 ATS in their last nine games and all of those wins have come by at least six points. Duke has also beaten Michigan State in each of the last four meetings going back to 2010. Coach K. has Tom Izzo's number. I think that Duke is clearly the better team in this one and I don't see an upset at all. I think that Duke is going to win this game by at least 10 points and Michigan State's run is going to come to an end. Lay the points. Play Duke.
4-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 131.5 Wisconsin vs. Kentucky (9 p.m., Saturday, April 4)
I think that this will be a very low-scoring game and defense will be on full display. Kentucky has gotten to this point behind its defense. They will shut down the paint against the Badgers and make Wisconsin shoot from the outside. I think the Badgers are going to slow the game down. They like to take the air out of the ball and they will run the clock down, often using all 35 seconds. They want to shorten this game. I don't see a lot of fast breaking in this one and I don't see a lot of uptempo style. This one will stay 'under'.

5 Unit Play. #824 Take Duke -5 over Michigan State (Saturday 6:05 pm TBS) Michigan State = Indianapolis Colts. Much like Indy, Michigan State does not belong in the Final Four and they will be exposed in a big way on Saturday night in Indianapolis, IN. The Spartans were fortunate to be bracketed into the East Region where the top seeds where exposed as frauds and the Elite 8 battle features two teams with major flaws. Tom Izzo is given a lot for being Mr. March and this will be his 7th Final Four but one must remember he has only won one championship and advance past this round just two times in six attempts. He also has a terrible record against Coach K winning just one game in nine attempts including a double digit loss this season in Indianapolis of all places. Duke just has better talent at four of the five positions on the court and this is not even a typical Michigan State team that rebounds well and makes free throws (they do neither of these). Duke is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games against Big 10 teams. Michigan State is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games played on Saturday.

GAME: Wisconsin Badgers vs. Kentucky Wildcats 8:45 PM EST
RATING: 5* (#821) Wisconsin Badgers +5
The Wisconsin Badgers and Kentucky Wildcats are the late game of the NCAAs Final Four on Saturday night with tip off set for 8:45PM Eastern Time. We have two Number One seeds facing off and since 87 when that happens in the semi-final round the underdogs have been money posting a 5-1 against the spread mark. These two were in the same spot a year ago with the Wildcats winning and moving on to the Championship Game where they lost to Connecticut. For the Cats their lineup has changed from last season although Aaron Harrison returns and he was a factor in the Cats win over the Badgers in the semis last season. The Badgers on the other hand have a much improved offensive team with the return of Kaminsky who is averaging 18.7 points per game, Dekker who is averaging 13.9 points per game and Nigel Hayes who is averaging 12.4 points per game. All three are more experienced and improved from a season ago with the only key loss from last years team was guard Ben Burst who graduated. In their semi-final loss to the Cats last year center Frank Kaminsky was silent with eight points and only five rebounds we expect both of those numbers to improve tonight. In breaking down this game we see the Badgers offense is similar to the Notre Dame offense that just a few days ago took this Cats team to the brink of elimination. One of the areas where the Badgers offense is similar to the Irish is their pace and tempo efficiency ratings where Wisconsin leads the nation with 1.22 points per possession. The Badgers do not turn the ball over with a 7.1 average turnovers per game which also ranks #1 in the nation. Wisconsin has the size to better matchup against the Wildcats whereas that was what was missing from the Irish attack. On the technical front we see the Badgers are money when installed as an underdog and as a road underdog in non-conference contests. When the Badgers are coming off a su win and now installed as a non-conference underdog they are 17-5-1 ats if they are on the road in that situation they are 14-2-1 ats. The Badgers are 34-19-1 ats off three consecutive su victories including 9-1-1 ats installed as a non-conference road underdog. We have the Badgers coming off a su win and going Over the posted total in their last game now facing a non-conference foe which puts them in positive territory against the spread with a record of 22-6-2 ats in that situation. We want to Play AGAINST NCAAB post season teams in this price range coming off three straight games where they were installed as the favorite because these teams are just 40-68-2 ats. The BTPR Index projects a point advantage of 0.24 points. The BBMM projects a point differential of 6.72 points with a line range of +4.5 to +6.5. The Pace-Tempo Matrix has the Badgers with an offensive-defensive differential of +5.88 with a transitional average of 41.36 and a conversion rate range of 46.79 to 48.63 percent in tonights contest. The BBSIM Matrix has the Wisconsin Badgers with a 72.75 percent advantage against the spread in this contest. We have significant support from the fundamental and technical sides of this contest. Additional support comes from the BBSIM which has the Badgers solidly placed in the seventy-two percentile against the spread. We will take the points here as the Badgers shock the Cats and get the victory. Badgers
GAME: Michigan State Spartans vs. Duke Blue Devils 6:05 PM EST
RATING: 5* (#824) Duke Blue Devils -5
The first game featured in the NCAAB Final Four has the Spartans of Michigan State taking on the Blue Devils of Duke University with tip off set for 6:05PM Eastern Time. The two teams have met this season way back in November at the Lucas Oil Dome with Duke coming out the victor winning 81 to 71 as eight-point favorites. Duke comes into this game on a semi-final run of 4-1 both su and ats while the Spartans are 1-4 su and ats their last five appearances. We want to Play AGAINST NCAAB tournament teams in the semi-finals when they are seeking same-season revenge because they are a money-burning 4-11 against the spread. A check of the database reveals several key tech elements that are active for this contest. The Blue Devils are 21-11 ats versus teams with a winning record this season including 14-5 ats after fifteen or more games have been played. Duke has had little trouble breaking down good defensive teams this season they are 14-5 ats versus teams that allow sixty-four or fewer points. They are a solid 10-4 ats versus good defensive teams during the second half of the season. Michigan State has struggled avenging same-season losses posting a record of 5-9 against the spread. The Spartans have also struggled following success they seem to lose their momentum rather quickly. The Spartans when coming off a pair of ats wins on the road have gone 1-10-1 ats in their next game. MSU coming off back-to-back road victories both su and ats have posted a record of just 1-9-1 ats in their next game. If they were favored in those two contests which the Spartans were they are a perfect 0-6-1 ats failing to cover in their last seven in that situation. We want to Play AGAINST road teams coming off a road favorite game versus a winning team and the game went Over because these teams are just 26-45-4 ats. The BTPR Index projects a point advantage of 12.18 points. The BBMM projects a point differential of 7.73 points with a line range of -4.5 to -6.5. The Pace-Tempo Matrix has the Duke Blue Devils with an offensive-defensive differential of +8.56 with a transitional average of 42.93 and a conversion rate range of 47.97 to 50.02 percent in tonights contest. The BBSIM Matrix has the Duke Blue Devils with a 72.81 percent advantage against the spread in this contest. Duke has gone 6-0 ats the last six away from home. We normally never use day of the week technicals except in certain situations and certain sports but we did note that the Blue Devils are perfect with a 10-0 ats mark on Saturdays this season. One final tech note the Devils are a perfect 6-0 ats their last six non-conference contests overall. With solid support for the Devils across the primary index board along with powerful tech sets and systems we will back the chalk in this matchup. The Duke Blue Devils qualify in our Reverse Momentum Index as they are trending solidly in positive territory while the Spartans have seen a movement to the plus side during their conference tournament and the early portion of the Big Dance. That is where it ends for the Spartans with the Momentum Indicators now trending into negative territory. The combination of all the listed factors tips the scale and makes our play on the Blue Devils on Saturday night. DUKE

4 Unit Play. Take #821 Over 131 Wisconsin at Kentucky (8:45p.m., Saturday April 4 TBS)
Yes I know the Kentucky Wildcats have an outstanding defense but if you are Wisconsin you need the spread out the floor a must hit the 3-ball. The Badgers are averaging 80.5ppg in their 4 tournament games this season and I see them scoring against the Kentucky ‘D’. The Wildcats offense has been great in the tournament as well but again their defense has been the whole story. As long as the Badgers play their game this total should have no problem going over and I see both teams creeping around the high 60’s or low 70’s tonight in Indianapolis.

JASON SHARPE
4 Unit Play Take #821 Wisconsin +5 over Kentucky (8:45pm est):
These two teams are much closer than most people realize as Wisconsin is the exact type of team who matches up very well with Kentucky. Kentucky has the best defense (raw numbers) we’ve seen in CBB the last 15 years at Kenpom while Wisconsin comes in with easily having the best offensive season ever this year. I doubt that either one of these sides has any real edge over the other when Wisconsin has the basketball on offense against the Kentucky defense.
It’s the other side of the equation where I feel the Badgers biggest edge plays out. Kentucky’s offense isn’t anywhere near the same level of greatness as their defense and can actually be slowed down by the right kind of team, one built like Wisconsin. The Wildcats are the tallest team in the country and they use that size to overpower teams down low as they score a high percentage of their points off of their offensive rebounds. The problem here is that the Badgers defensive rebounding percentage ranks in the top five nationally as it’s extremely difficult to gain any kind of edge against Wisconsin this way as the Badgers are also a big team and rank as the 2nd tallest team in CBB behind only Kentucky. The Wildcats also use their power and size down low to draw a ton of fouls which is another area that Wisconsin is great at defensively as their ranked #1 in the nation in percentage of points allowed on free throws by an opponent.
Looking closely at their resumes this season and you see that Wisconsin has been every bit as dominant this year as Kentucky especially when you start to factor in their schedules. The Badgers rolled thru the much tougher Big Ten Conference this year where they went 19-2 overall as they won both the regular season and conference tournament titles. The Badgers played the 37th toughest non-conference schedule and 13 of their 16 non-conference wins came by more than 10 points. Kentucky is from the much weaker SEC which has been clearly the worst of the so called power conferences in basketball the last few years. The Wildcats have played the 99th ranked non-conference schedule this season and 14 of their 17 non-conference wins were by more than ten points overall which amounts to one more blowout type win and they do so against an easier schedule as well.
The only real difference between these two teams comes in the loss column as Wisconsin was beaten in one non-conference game this year and that was to Final Four team Duke and was four months ago. The Badgers had two league defeats as well, one in which their superstar Frank Kaminsky didn’t play in the game and the other loss was to a highly ranked Maryland team who wanted revenge in what was a huge game for them but the game had a lot less meaning for the Badgers as they had all but wrapped up the Big Ten regular season title at that point of the year. The most impressive thing is that no Big Ten team came within five points of beating Wisconsin in any of the Badgers 19 conference wins this season.
Kentucky on the other hand actually had two very close calls in the SEC this year, winning one game by just three points and getting another victory by only two points overall. There’s no doubt that Kentucky wouldn’t be getting this sort of love from the media and public if they weren’t still undefeated. It’s unlikely that the Wildcats would still have zero losses this year if they had played against the 37th toughest non-conference schedule and then had to also play 21 more games against arguably the top conference in CBB which is the exact type of schedule that Wisconsin has faced this season. There’s no questioning this Kentucky squad is very good but they are also overvalued and in a big way by the betting public especially so in this tournament. In their four games against the spread during this year’s NCAA tournament, Wildcat bettors have cashed just one ticket against the spread. In fact it’s been just one point spread cover the last six NCAA tournament games if you go back to their last two games played last season. A lot of Kentucky’s reputation this season has been built on some of the beatings they’ve put on teams but when you look closely you notice that a lot of those wins came in games against average teams or worse as the Wildcats are just 3-7 against the number their last ten games when facing a team with win percentage above .600.
This should be a great game that I expect to be very close. Every point will be huge in this contest so getting this many points here feels like a gift. Take Wisconsin plus the points in this one.

Sunday 6* Triple Perfect NBA Totals system leads the Card along with an Early 100% System side in the Houston vs OKC Game. In MLB on ESPN its an Opening night totals play Cards vs Cubs. Saturday sweeps at 3-0. Free NBA Play below.
The Free NBA Play is on the Over in the Philadelphia at NY, Knicks game. Rotation numbers 509/510 at 7:05 eastern. This game fits a nice totals system that has cashed 90% to the over since 1995. We are playing over the total in games where we have a conference road favorite like the Sixers, with no rest off a road game where they were dogs of 5 or more if they are taking on a home team like the Knicks that scored 90 or less as a road dog of 10 or more. The Knicks have played over the last 3 times as a division home dog with no rest after scoring 90 or less on the road. The Sixers have no rest and this game should post over the total tonight. On Sunday we end the week big in baskets with a rare Triple 6* Totals system and the early play on ABC from a never lost system in the OKC vs Houston game. In Opening night baseball on ESPN we have the total in the Cards vs Cubs game. Jump on now and end the week big with the most powerful data available. For the free play. Take the over in the Philly vs NY Game. GC

Scott Spreitzer | NHL Money Line Sun, 04/05/15 – 7:35 PM
dime bet – 60 CHI (-140) vs 59 STL
Analysis: I’m backing the Blackhawks on Sunday night. Chicago has owned this series when they meet at the United Center, going 11-0-2 the last 13 times. The Hawks are also on a nice overall run, winning four straight as they close in on the Blues and Predators. They’re just one point behind tonight’s opponent and just two points out of the division lead. Jonathan Toews is on fire and Marian Hossa is dishing out assists left and right over the last few games. The kicker is that Corey Crawford is expected to start between the pipes and he’s dominated the Blues in his career. The Blues enter having won just 4 of their last 18 on the road against teams playing better than .600 hockey at home. Add that to the Hawks 11-0-2 head-to-head run and we have a healthy 25-4-2 mark on our side. I’m laying the price with the Blackhawks, my Sunday Slap Shot. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.
