Analysis: This number just seems a bit hit here..In the 4 games thus far the Hawks still haven't covered this number of 9..In fact they lost the last two games and now come home..They gave life to this Brooklyn team and that's never a good thing...Lopez and Deron Williams have played pretty good in this series..Last game they really got going and i expect them to keep up that same type of production...The Nets are also getting to the line more in this series. The Hawks are just not attacking the basket right now. Brooklyn is winning the rebounding battle as well..If Atlanta can shoot lights out, maybe they can cover. I just don't see everything lining up for them with what's at stake..They gave life to this Brooklyn team and that's not a good thing to lay 9 points right now..I'm not convinced this Hawks team has what it takes. I see this as a even matchup right now at the end of the day..Joe Johnson and Thad Young actually had down games last game in the point production area..They will both look to be more effeciant on the offensive end. Brooklyn will step up the defense tonight and make Atlanta beat them shooting the ball..I just don't see how the Hawks cover this big number tonight..I'll grab the 9 points with a team who is getting no respect. This series is tied 2-2 and still laying 9 points seems a bit disrespectful to the Nets.

Take #980 San Diego (-130) over Houston (3:40 p.m., Wednesday, April 29) Houston who is leading the AL West is riding a 5 game win streak after pounding the Padres in the first two games of this series, outscoring them 23-7. However, I think Andrew Cashner and the Padres get the win today to prevent Houston from their first series sweep at Petco Park. Cashner has really thrived when pitching at home as he owns a 1.44 ERA while allowing 2 earned runs or fewer in 20 straight starts at Petco Park. He will need his defense to make plays as they have let him down at times this year, with half of the 14 runs he has allowed being unearned. Runs could be hard to come by for the Padres offense with Dallas Keuchel on the hill. Keuchel has not allowed a run in 15 innings over his last 2 starts and hasn’t faced San Diego since June of 2012. San Diego is 1-5 in their last 6 games but I think their righty heavy line up will be able to plate some runs against the lefty Keuchel and provide Cashner with some run support. The Padres are 4-0 in their last 4 games against a left hand starter and they are 5-1 in their last 6 interleague games versus a left hander. Keuchel has struggled against the National League as the Astros are 1-4 in his last 5 interleague starts and they are 1-4 in his last 5 against the National League West. The Padres have an off day tomorrow before the Rockies come into town and they won’t want to deal with being swept by the Astros who head back home after a 12 game road trip. I like the Padres to get it done and pick up the win today.

Its ok if you said no because there is no way those two remember that either. Williams has fallen off quite a bit and was on the bench for the 4th quarter of the Nets game three win over the Hawks. He followed that off with a playoff best 35 points and put the Nets in a spot to take control of the series. Atlanta will need to figure out the way they cruised to 60 wins in the regular season or their postseason will be over before it really even started. Lucky for the Hawks they will be at home where they have been tough to beat for the better part of the season. The Nets have a very good chance to steal one but even if they don’t look for them to cover with little effort. Brooklyn in 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings and 5-1 ATS in the last 6 in ATL so the Hawks should grind out a victory but take the Nets with the points. Hawks 100-97.
