We don’t care if the line is moving the other way as the public is on the Bulls to a tune of nearly 60% so that partially explains why. We actually think Cleveland uses the Game 4 winning shot as a huge catalyst to win Game 5 as well and going away for that matter. We mentioned that we thought that Cleveland will win Game 4 similar to the Hawks and then close things out in the remaining games and that’s how it seems it will work out. Cleveland is well aware that if they do not win this game that puts them in a considerable hole going forward. So the series is tied 2-2 and the winner of this rubber match ends up having the keys to the promise land so to speak.

Look for Cleveland to step up today and also protect their coach from the timeout call as they come together as this is a quality public fade to boot. Sure the Cavs won the last game by just 2 points but look for them to come out with a great deal of intensity similar to their Game 2 win at home. @ The Bulls will likely start out well but the intensity will be strong for the Cavs in the 3rd and 4th quarter as if the Bulls were to truly win this game, the line would have been more towards Cleveland -2 or -3 rather than Cleveland -5 or -5.5. The Cavs are 4-1 ATS coming off a loss and the Cavs are 5-2 in their last 7 home games when they face a team with a winning road record. Look for Cleveland to win tonight by about 8-9 points this evening.

Cincinnati has seen Folty before as he gave up 2 earned runs in 5 hits (3 total runs) but on 6 hits and 3 walks in his first start of the year coming over from Houston. The Braves ended up squeaking it out and winning 4-3. Then Folty pitched against the Phillies and gave up 4 earned runs in on 7 hits in just over 5 innings and 3 walks in that process and ended up winning 7-5 in that contest. Look for that to not happen today as the Reds have a beat on his pitches and meet him for the second time today. Note that Desclafani has lost 3 straight for the Reds and really needs a quality start here which is partly why this line is so high. Also note that the Braves beat him 3-4 earlier this year so he definitely has revenge coming into this game as he will likely make the tune up changes he needs to and pick up the win this time around – in particular as he comes off a loss as well. Anthony DeSclafani has a lot of talent as he had given up 2 runs in 21 innings prior to that over 3 starts, look for him to really put things together with revenge here and pick up the win – and Folty’s luck runs out against a team who gets to see him for the 2nd time in just a few weeks and their memories are fresh. Reds likely win this one by a couple runs this evening.
