This line opened at 8 and has begun to skew upward at some books. I want to make it clear that even though we are getting this one early in the day, it might go to 8.5 at some or all books. However, if it does and you are getting it late, you can still bet for the full 3% as our number is significantly higher than what the Books have set for this one. You should know by now that our numbers are set using a strong database plus Non Traditional Methods and these are things that we don't talk about much. That is because that by doing so we would lose our edge that we have accomplished. We can say that the overall weather pattern for this one is better than average for the hitters. We certainly have two starters that have been scored upon a lot in recent games and in the case of Richards, his road work has been well below normal. Guthrie is not a K Pitcher and when he does not have location bad things happen. There is no indication that he is going to find himself out of that kind of situation tonight verses a good LAA Offensive team. Both of these teams have had great success verses right handed pitching and in fact the Royals are scoring over 4.6 RPG verses these guys. I don't know where the betting number is going, 8 is better than 8.5 and it's only going to stay where it is or rise. Therefore I would get this oÂne as soon as possible.

The Angels had a lot of chances to put last night’s game away, but ended up with a runner left of 3rd in numerous extra inning frames. This is a team that played long last night and had to jump on a plane to head to Kansas City. Richards is pitching better than Guthrie this year, but it won’t do him much good when his team is not plating runs in key spots. This Kansas City team is excellent at home and I like them in this spot tonight. Take the Royals.




Chargers -4 over Cowboys

When it comes to betting preseason you really can be prepared and have all the stars align only to get beat by the most random of events in the final quarter. Just remember that these games are exhibitions and do not mean anything.

The Cowboys come into this game with a banged up group of running backs. Randle, McFadden and Dunbar are all dealing with injuries. You are going to see a lot of 5th string RB Gus Johnson tonight. The Cowboys are also a mess in the secondary which means guys who are backups will be playing up one level. The Chargers have more talent at the skill positions tonight. The Cowboys are going to be holding out a lot of their offensive weapons. This Cowboys 2nd team offensive line only has one player that ever took a rep in the NFL and he is listed as day to day. San Diego had a ton of injuries last season and it’s expected that they themselves will take it easy, but I just can’t get over the talent gap on the field tonight. If the Cowboys can beat you with a fifth string running back as the starter and later on in the game with two rookie QB’s then so be it. Take San Diego.
