Khabib Nurmagomedov (http://mmajunkie.com/tag/khabib-nurmagomedov) (22-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) fights for the first time in 20 months when he meets Tony Ferguson (http://mmajunkie.com/tag/tony-ferguson) (19-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) at the Dec. 11 event, which takes place at a Las Vegas venue to be announced. However, it won’t be the headliner.

I actually really like this matchup. Ferg is on the rise, and if he can get past Khabib he's going to definitely be next in line for a title shot.

Yeah, Ferguson's a really good fighter but I just don't think he's going to be able to deal with the pressure Khabib brings to the table.

Khabib may not like the shots he wades into, and it may force him to rethink his usual gameplan.

I really don't know who to pick as a winner. I don't really care for either fighter but they are both obviously very good.

He hits hard better than Frankie. He also may be quicker. Chad is very quick, and even landed some super solid shots on Aldo when they fought in December.

Maybard hit harder too , that didn't work. Frankie has some of the best footwork in mma; Mendes won't be able to land much IMO

Mendes is about 6 times as fast as Maynard, though. Maynard almost killed Frankie in both of the last two fights they had. I think Chad can put Frankie to sleep to be honest.
