I think it would be nice if each of us picked the winner of each fight for a card. Zak said he'd track the results of it . All you need to do is pick the winner of the fight. If you pick the favorite, its always to win 1 point. If you pick the dog, its betting 1 unit. If this works out, we might put a contest together soon. If your pick loses, its just counted as a zero
Example
Max Holloway -240/ Charles Oliveira +200
If you pick Holloway and he wins, you get 1 point. If you pick Oliveria, you get 2.
Also, put "Best Bet" beside one of the fights you pick. This fight will count for double. New rule: Best Bet play must be -300 odds or lower.

Hey guys, I'm new to the board, thought I would throw in my 2 cents on this event.
MM wins but I'm hoping Dodson doesn't something ridiculous. He is rather athletic. Arlovski kills Mir but then again who can accurately pick a Mir fight. Just when I think he's done he gets a couple more wins. Rumble via death train. Felder crushes Pearson with shear aggression. Rivera/Lineker is a tough fight to call, leaning Rivera. And what is the deal with Joe Diesel, he looks like the walking dead these days.

I agree with most of what you said. You're probably right about MM but I'm really hoping Dodson finds a way to win here. Funny thing is, 75% of the FLW division is probably more compelling than he is from a personality standpoint, but MM is the one who's looking unstoppable.

I watched quite a lot of tape for this event and there were some very hard fights to call on the undercard. No idea why I decided to go with Rivera really... should have gone Lineker. I was basing that pick pretty much entirely on his TDD against Faber but he showed a dodgy heart in that fight too. Riggs vs Stallings I thought was a complete toss up, as was Trator vs Collard.
Actual betting wise I only picked Pennington (largely cos Andrade was a late replacement and because I thought Pennington was going to try and wear her down in the clinch rather than strike at range like last time), PVZ inside the distance and Corey Anderson, who I bet to win by decision at +300. Blachowicz showed really week gameplanning and will to win vs Manuwa and I thought Corey's athleticism and cardio would win out. I was pretty nervous that it was going to get stopped at the end of R2 so watched all R3 on fast foward :) Other than that, I bet a load of overs. Pearson vs Felder over 1.5, Silva vs Malegerie over 1.5, Manuwa vs Johnson over 1.5, Jan vs Corey over 2.5, so my only losing bet was Manuwa not going over 1.5 rounds. I researched zero for this card and didn't even watch half the fights( was watching football). Only bet I should have made I liked was Lineker, but didn't because I never got around to look at it more. Also thought Pennington was worth a shot...but again...didnt look at it more

I researched zero for this card and didn't even watch half the fights( was watching football). Only bet I should have made I liked was Lineker, but didn't because I never got around to look at it more. Also thought Pennington was worth a shot...but again...didnt look at it more

I went 0-3 on the first 3 fights (albeit 2 SDs) so I thought that was my reputation trashed but managed to pull it back :P
I only did this much research cos I have a deposit match bonus that I need to clear through. Got $95 left to bet on the next UFC. I've even resorted to betting on virtual tennis to knock that down a bit. Sad times.
Happy to discuss things more next event. Not really a lot of point till the odds come out but in general I think Nick Hein's an underrated fighter. Kajun Johnson has a poor chin. Keita Nakamura looks small for WW to me. That's all I've got :)
