If you are looking at the matchups for this game that is not a typo as Seattle is 15-16 on the season while Vermont comes in at 22-13 having won 8 of their last 9 and while their road record of 8-9 is respectable they actually won 7 of their last 10 on the road. The Catamounts are deep and talented and over their last 9 games they have 5 players averaging double digits. With the disappointment of losing to Stony Brook in the America East tourney behind then look for this post-season savvy group (8th straight year in post-season action) to we'll call it here, win the CBI. FYI: Teams had only one common opponent so not a fair comparison but both hosted UC Santa Barbara with the Catamounts winning 75-68 and the Redhawks losing 88-50.

Toronto on the other hand has officially been eliminated out of the playoff race and while the Maple leafs have played better as of late their depth is still a major issue. Calgary has been scoring at will and think this Maple Leafs squad is going to have a hard time stopping these Flames tonight. 4* NBA Situational No Doubt Blowout on Pistons -
This might seem like a big number for the Pistons to be laying against a division opponent, but Detroit should have no problem taking down the Bucks by at least 8 points tonight. Milwaukee is all but eliminated from playoff contention and are already starting to look at developing their younger players. Detroit on the other hand needs every win they can get, as they sit tied for the 8th and final playoff spot in the east with Chicago.
The Bucks are also a horrible road team. They are just 9-26 away from home on the season, losing by an average of 7.4 ppg. The key here is that we are catching Milwaukee in a really bad spot, as they will be on no rest after hosting the Jazz yesterday.
Detroit is in the midst of a 9-game homestand. After losing a hard fought game to Atlanta, they have won 2 straight in impressive fashion. With the Magic on deck, there's no reason for the Pistons not to show up for this contest.
Bucks are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 road games when they come in having lost 2 of their last 3 games, while the Pistons are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 home games after playing a game as a favorite and 7-0 ATS in their last 7 home games as a favorite of 6.5 to 12 points. Lay the points!

Monmouth’s upsets seemed big at the time, but most of those teams are huge schools living on yesterdays name. Take George Washington.

The Gamecocks are a very good defensive team with opponents shooting just 39.4% against them this season, and Georgia Tech is not good defensively with opponents shooting 44.7% against them this season. There are too many mismatches for the Yellow Jackets to keep this one close tonight. Play South Carolina ATS with confidence.

My spreadsheet has South Carolina winning this game by a final score of 77-69. The key components in this matchup are home court advantage and frontline matchups.
The strength of this South Carolina team is their height and ability in the frontcourt. They have some big guys who can really rebound the basketball and have the offensive skill to match. Georgia Tech has some ability in the frontcourt as well but it simply isn't as good as what USC possesses. That will be the big difference in this game as Tech's guards simply aren't very good. There aren't many teams in the country in which Tech's guards would get much playing time. With South Carolina's big men matching up extremely well vs. Tech's strength, this game should be a comfortable one for the Gamecocks.

Orlando looks to have Elfrid Payton back in their lineup. Payton will help with the Magic's pace as they've become one of the top up-tempo teams in the NBA the 2nd half of the season. They won't get any resistance from that style of play here from Boston as the Celtics come in the fastest paced team this year in the Eastern Conference.

Both of these two teams played yesterday which should only add to our scoring here in this one as both show increased combined scoring when their in the 2nd game of a back to back spot. They also faced each other less than two months ago in their last meeting and that contest had 233 points scored in the game.

We roll with the Under here in the first selection as these two teams hook up. For starters, we like the Under here as the last time these two teams hooked up the total went way over as 233 points were scored which is why this total is high. But it is hard to imagine a Brad Stephens team not making the changes this time around defensively. They have revenge so we could have taken Boston but Orlando has lost back to back games so we want to avoid going against the Magic who are looking to the playoffs. Rather, let's take the under with the Celtics who are looking for revenge and defensive revenge in particular as this game is likely to have a different tenor than the first game. The Under is 5-0 for the Magic are 0 days rest and the Under is 4-0 for the Celtics on 0 days rest as well.
3-Unit Play. #611. Take Washington +6.5 over Atlanta (Monday @ 8:05pm est)
The Wizards are just 1 game out of .500 which is pretty amazing stuff. This team has now come all the way back and put together a solid streak of wins and is a team that no one would really want to play as they look considerably better than many teams that are above them right now. This team has now won 4 straight, beaten the Bulls by 21, the Pistons by 43, this is a good public fade, the Hawks come off a big win against the Rockets so this is a let down for them as they are due for a let down after the roll they have been on, the Wiz are 6-1 ATS following a day of rest and are 1-4 ATS against the NBA Southeast. Plus, the Wiz have revenge as well and will be looking forward to this game.


3-Unit Play. #619. Take George Washington +2.5 over Monmouth (Monday @ 7pm est)
We roll with George Washington as our first selection as this is a GW team that can win outright as they are the indeed better team. George Washington has a very good resume and they are one of those mid major teams that year in and year out have shown a lot of bite. Remember, this team beat Virginia at home by 5 points, beat Seton Hall who is a top 25 team at home by 8 points, lost to Dayton by 7 points on the road, beat VCU by 3 points on the road and lost to St. Joseph's by 6 points who eventually went on to make it to the Round of 32 and were only knocked out by Oregon. GW is a top 55 team in offensvie efficiency, top 50 in offensive rebounding and top 20 in free throw shooting all of which should make the difference today. Washington rolls here from start to finish as this is a good public fade on Monmouth too. We have to believe in our metrics which has brought us this far as we sit around +$6500 for the college ball season.
3-Unit Play. #621. Take Georgia Tech +4 over South Carolina (Monday @ 9pm est)
Georgia Tech is the better team. The rumors were swirling for Brian Greggory but after a 12 win season last year he has saved his job now posting a 20 win season and letting the league go on notice that this team will not be taken advantage of and Tech is back. Tech has beaten the likes of Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Virginia at home by 4 points, VCU at home by 13, Green Bay at home by 30 and losing to UNC by 8 on the road. This is a team on the rise and they will get up to face the higher seed here in South Carolina. This is a top 50 team on offense, won 8 games in the ACC, top 15 in offensive rebounding and top 80 on defense. This is a South Carolina team that is outside the top 200 in effective field goal percentage and outside the top 230 in turnover percentage. Tech likely wins this game outright here but we will take the points as well.
3-Unit Play. #631. Take Under 137 Vermont vs. Seattle (Monday @ 10pm est)
Rather low total and we like that here as we take the Under. For starters, it's a decent public fade, Seattle is one of the worst offensive efficient teams in America outside the top 310 and has a tendency to play to the Under when they face high efficient teams such as California losing 66-52 because they cannot compete on the offensive end. As they face Vermont today, we like them to play to the Under once again as they cannot compete on the talent level but they can slow the pace down as this game likely reaches the high 120's today.
3-Unit Play. #633. Take Over 157.5 Eastern Washington vs. Nevada (Monday @ 10pm est)
Final selection here is the Over between these two teams. Eastern Washington is a top 65 offensive team, good public fade here as we like them to be an active underdog against a bigger named school here in Nevada, we like the 5.5 line as that favors the active underdog historically per our models which we have continued to develop for 16 years, is a team outside the top 310 on defense which will translate into an up and down offensive game as Nevada should play well on the offensive side of the ball, and this game likely goes over the posted total. If Nevada can score 79 points on Montana, then certainly they can put up a decent amount on a team that is outside the top 190 as Eastern Washington is. We like this game to go over 162 today.

3-Unit Play #606 Take Charlotte +6.5 over San Antonio (7 p.m. EST, Monday)
We think this is a bad spot for the Spurs as well as an inflated line. This is a letdown game after the Spurs won the marquee game thus far this season at home against Golden State on Saturday. The Hornets are quietly playing great basketball, having won 9 of 11 games overall, and this is their best chance to stop a 10-game losing streak against the Spurs - both with their best team and with the Spurs on letdown alert. The Hornets lost an embarrassing one last time out as they were beaten handily by the Nuggets at home. They will be anxious to get that loss in the rearview mirror and also to snap this streak against the Spurs. We aren't saying they will, but we expect a very close game here and with the Spurs coming off this GSW game they won't have the same fire as their opponent. This is a huge game for the Hornets and we think they will compete for the win here.

4-Unit Play #608 Take Detroit -7 over Milwaukee (7:30 p.m. EST, Monday)
Detroit is in the midst of a long road trip here where they can get themselves back in the playoff picture in the East by racking up some wins. They need this game big time tonight and we think they get it against a Bucks team that is coming in to play a road game on a back-to-back and came out extremely flat in that game last night at home against the Jazz in a game they weren't even competitive in. Now they have to go on the road and they take a step up in competition here. Detroit is a team we think is trending up right now and they are coming off a big win over Brooklyn and an impressive win over the Kings as well in which they should have covered except for a meaningless bucket by Sac on the last shot of the game. Detroit has been very good ATS at home at 20-11-2 on the season and they have won and covered the last two meetings in this series.

2-Unit Play #610 Take Boston -8 over Orlando (7:30 p.m. EST, Monday)
Boston hasn't been playing well but they have had a very tough schedule. They got back on track last time out however against Philly in a 15-point road win and sometimes all an NBA team needs is confidence in order to start playing better. They face another overmatched opponent tonight in Orlando, a team that has lost seven of its last nine games. Boston is very motivated for this game as they are in the thick of the playoff hunt and the Magic are just playing out the string. The Celtics have been good when laying big points as they are 12-6 ATS in their last 18 when laying six or more points and they have dominated this series in Boston with a 27-10-1 ATS mark in the last 38 meetings.

3-Unit Play #617 Take Memphis/Phoenix OVER 204 (10 p.m. EST, Monday)
Memphis played really well last time out against a better defensive team than this one they face tonight as they put up 113 on the LA Clippers. They played really fast in that game and even though they are dealing with a lot of injuries the lineups they had on the floor and the pace worked for them and we see no reason they change it up tonight. The Suns are a team that likes to run, too, and the pace here should be fast for both teams. The bookies keep the Grizzlies totals low because of this team's reputation as a defensive club but the over is 39-30-1 for them this season. The Suns have won two straight against the Grizzlies and they put up 111 and 109 points, so we think they will be able to score here. We see both teams getting over 100 here and there is a good chance both teams get well over the century mark as both meetings have gone well above the posted number.
