We roll with the Yankees here as they hook up against Kansas City. Note, a few things here. For starters, the Yankees have started to play better baseball. They have now won 4 out of their last 5 games and 5 out of their last 7 games to their credit (4-1 and 5-2 run) for them and they come off a loss to the Royals losing 3-7 in their last game. This is a team that doesn't want to sell house and wants to see if they can make a run and management is giving them a chance and they have gotten to 13 wins finally after a very slow start. Eovaldi topped over a 100mph against Boston in his last start and had fantastic stuff as he held the Red Sox to just 6 hits in 8 innings of work after Boston had hit him hard. Plus, he held Texas to just 2 hits in 7 innings and 0 earned runs in a previous start as well. Eovaldi can be hit or miss but as he faces the defending champs, one has to think he will be up for this contest especially considering he helped beat the Royals 14-1 last year when he faced them which shows he does get up for this team. Plus, you get the Yankees on the bounce-back and the Royals have come back down to earth of late losing 5 of their last 7 games and they have not put back to back wins together in some time. The Yankees are 6-0 in their last 6 games when they Eovaldi pitches on 4 days rest, 7-1 in his last 8 starts after a quality appearance in his last start and the Royals are 1-4 in their last 5 games after scoring 5 or more runs in their previous game.

We roll with the Under here between these two teams as it's a quality public fade. Note, the Under has hit the last 3 of 4 times the last time these two teams have played and this is a quality public fade this evening. We'd have to think that after the bad calls the Spurs have gotten, we wouldn't be surprised to see them have the ability to be very agressive against OKC's players today. If OKC wants to win this game, they are going to have to earn it with the Spurs' defense which will be on par today. Remember, the 3 games that the Thunder did win, especially two of them, the Spurs were winning those games late and it just took late Westbrook and Durant three's to keep them in. We like the Spurs to rebound here and this great series to go to Game 7 but bear in mind we can totally see the Thunder winning in San Antonio in Game 7 and we have not ruled that out. But, per this game, we would not be surprised to see this game likely go under the posted total as there is a reason the last two have gone under the posted total as the refs are letting these guys play in playoff basketball and physical nature of play has become accepted. The Under is 4-0 for the Spurs following a straight up loss as they rely on their defense following a loss, the Under is 14-3 in the last 17 road games for the Spurs when they face a team with a winning home record and the Under is 7-2 for the Thunder when they face a team with a straight up winning record.
