5-Unit Play. Take #916 Texas (-110) over Houston (8 p.m., Monday, June 6)

Texas starter tonight Colby Lewis has been on a roll as of late (5-0 ERA 3.09) and has dominated the Houston Astros and tonight both trends continue. Both teams come into this game red hot and the Rangers have won 7 out of 8 games and coming off a weekend sweep of the Seattle Mariners. Houston is also coming off a weekend sweep of the Oakland A's but those games were at home and tonight the Stros travel to Arlington. Really like Colby Lewis tonight over Astros starter Mike Fiers as Fiers is 0-2 in his last 3 starts with an ERA of 5.40. Tonight look for the Rangers to provide Lewis some early runs and I see the red hot Texas again win at home.

7-Unit Play. Take #919 Tampa Bay (-120) over Arizona (9:40p.m., Monday, June 6)

The Rays are hoping that some of the good fortunes they have had as a team can rub off on Chris Archer who hasn't pitched as well as he would of hoped so far this season. Archer last faced the Diamondbacks in August of 2013 and is looking to snap a personal 3 games losing streak. He will be facing an Arizona team that has the second worst home record in all of baseball at 9-20, and will be sending out pitcher Robbie Ray who hasn't been very good this year at home. Ray is 1-2 with a 6.93 ERA in 5 starts in Arizona this year and the Diamondbacks are 3-8 in his 11 starts this season. Evan Longoria will look to keep swinging his hot stick as he is batting .457 with 6 home runs and 14 RBI in his last 9 contests. The Rays are 11-3 in their last 14 road games versus a team with a losing record while the Diamondbacks are 1-5 in their last 6 games versus a right handed starter. Tampa Bay have won their last 3 games and I think they keep that streak going with another win tonight.

6-Unit Play. Take #904 Pittsburgh (+100) over N.Y. Mets (7 p.m., Monday, June 6)

Both of these teams are really banged up. But the Mets are a total disaster right now. They are basically playing without their two best outfielders, a first baseman, a third baseman and a catcher. Pittsburgh has dominated the Mets, winning seven straight and nine of the last 10. They have New York's number and I think that the Pirates are going to get after them again here today. Jon Niese will be extremely motivated tonight against his old team and he's facing a lineup full of backups. The Pirates will have to deal with Steve Matz. He's been great. But the Pirates are No. 5 in the Majors against left-handed pitching (the Mets are No. 24). The Pirates have been a mess lately, going just 2-7 in their last nine games and losing three straight series. But they still have some All-Star caliber guys - even if they aren't at 100 percent - and that should make the difference in this game. Andrew McCutchen rested yesterday and I think that he's going to do something - offensively, defensively, or on the bases - to get this play home.

2-Unit Play. Take #914 Detroit (-120) over Toronto (7 p.m., Monday, June 6)

1-Unit Play. Take #901 Chicago Cubs (-1.5, -140) over Philadelphia (7 p.m., Monday, June 6)

1-Unit Play. Take #920 Arizona (+110) over Tampa Bay (9:40 p.m., Monday, June 6)

Today's Totals

7-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 8.0 N.Y. Mets at Pittsburgh (7 p.m., Monday, June 6)

I pretty much covered everything on this game in my side matchup. But this number is off. Steve Matz has been outstanding for the Mets. He's coming off a rare down start, but prior to that he had a streak of seven straight quality starts in which he allowed just six earned runs in 48 innings. Jon Niese has been getting better and better, posting four of five quality starts, and he is going to be extremely motivated going up against his former team. Both teams are just decimated with injuries right now and both teams are going to try to play this game close, low-scoring and decided with one or two plays. I think both starters are going to roll and this one looks like it will be a 3-1 or 4-2 game for the home team.

1-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 9.0 Toronto at Detroit (7 p.m., Monday, June 6)

7 Unit Play Take #914 Detroit -120 over Toronto (7:10pm est):

A lot to like here about the Detroit Tigers in this one and at this price. The Tigers go with rookie sensation Michael Fulmer in this one. Fulmer was brought up from the minors in late April and did okay in some tough road starts early on for Detroit but three starts ago the right-hander decided to go a lot more with his change-up as a badly needed 3rd pitch and he threw it 2-3X more than before and since then he's become dominant. Fulmer hasn't allowed a run in back to back outings and has a ERA of just 0.41 in his last 3 starts. He has elite level velocity and excellent strikeout numbers to back it up.

Toronto counters with left-hander J.A. Happ here. Happ will have his hands full in this one facing a Tigers lineup that can and will most likely have all 9 right-handed hitters going up against the southpaw Happ. The Blue Jays offensively have not lived up to their expectations this season and that comes from hitting only .234 against right-handers this year and that's who they face in this one.

All adds up to the better offense and starting pitcher at home and this line should be much higher. Take Detroit.

7-Unit Play. #26526. Take Argentina -105 over Chile (June 6th, Monday @ 10pm est)
The tournament favorites, Argentina open its Copa America with its South American neighbor, Chile on Monday night at Levi's Stadium. The Argentinian faithful travel well and should provide a strong support for the two time world cup winners. There has been questions about how strong of a squad Argentina will field for Copa, but that should not be a concern as even a second string Argentina side is as strong as most of the other teams in this year's Copa. Though Carlos Tevez was left out of this year's team, having the Ballon d'or winner Lionel Messi up front is all the fire power any country would need. Add Sergio Aguero who rarely disappoints on the international level and Angel Di Maria who has had a resurgence playing in Paris, Argentina should not be lacking in offense. The midfield is as strong as any national team could put out with the likes of Javier Mascherano, The one weak spot, and it is hard to call is weak, is Sergio Romero in goal. Remero has seen limited playing time at Manchester United as he play backup to the world's best goal keep, David de Gea. Argentina's opponent, Chile have not seen as successful of a run as of late having lost four of the last five giving up eight goals. Argentina's has also won the last three. Alexis Sanchez is the one shining star in the Chile attack, though his club season was less than outstanding. Argentina's press will make it hard on Chile and we should see a pretty one sided match. Argentina 3-1 winners.

2-Unit Play. #26538. Take USA -130 over Costa Rica (Tuesday @ 8pm est)
In the USA's second match of the Copa America the hosts line up against Costa Rica at Soldier Field in Chicago. The USA is coming off a strong first half performance where it was unable to produce a goal and ultimately dropped the opener to Group A favorite Colombia 2-0. The USA has had a tough last two matches with Costa Rica having loss 1-0 and 3-1, however Costa Rica ran out an uninspiring draw in its first Copa match with Paraguay. This match was quiet fiery, yet really offered few flashes of dominance or actual chances. Compound the straight red card in the 94 th minute to Costa Rican defender Kendall Waston and the scoreless draw, the USA could not have asked for a better setup heading into this match. The USA showed great signs in possession against Columbia, but again the lack of an experienced goal scorer in the 23 man squad will have the USA hoping they can take advantage of a set piece or a defensive slip up by Costa Rica. Bryan Ruiz and Joel Campbell offer what the USA lack for Costa Rica up front, look for these two to really press the USA defense and hope that the continued mental errors by the USA will provide an advantage for Los Ticos. Ultimately the USA hold its destiny in its own hands, a win almost assures the USA of moving on to the knock out stages, though statistically teams that loss its first match only have a 15 percent chance on moving on. A better USA crowd in Chicago will push the USA to a 2-1 victory over Costa Rica.

8-Unit Play. #26534. Take Columbia -125 over Paraguay (Tuesday @ 10:30pm est)
Colombia is flying high after its Copa opening 2-0 win over the USA. Though the USA had signs of scoring, Colombia was just too strong to break down. Paraguay on the other hand, ran out to a goalless draw to Costa Rica in its opener in a match that may prove to be the most physical of the group stages. Colombia offers a great deal of speed and a pair of front men, Carlos Bacca and James Rodriguez, who could be unstoppable. Add in Daniel Torres and Juan Cuadrado on the wings and Colombia will just be too strong for a Paraguay team that is ageing. Though Paraguay is ageing as a whole and played its opening match on the opposite coast of its second match, its defense does offer some youth which may keep this match closer than it should be. I will still be looking at how the 100+ degree weather in Orlando and the cross country flight will affect the Paraguayans over the course of 90 minutes. Just another reason that the speed and talent of Colombia will prove too much for Paraguay. Colombia comes out 3-0 winners and lock up a spot in the knockout round and possibly even top spot after two matches.

EURO CHAMPIONSHIP PREDICTIONS, STARTS JUNE 10TH:
7-Unit Play. Take Germany to reach the Semifinals (-110)
Germany are pretty much golden for the reaching the semifinals. The Germans have reach at last the semifinals in each of the last five major tournaments: 2006 World Cup (3rd place), Euro 2008 (2nd place), 2010 World Cup (3rd place), Euro 2012 (3rd place) and 2014 World Cup (1st place). I don't see four teams proving themselves better than Germany at this summer's tournament, so that would put Germany in the last four of this summer's Euro 2016. Germany are reigning world champions after their conquest on South American soil two summers ago. They'll want to make the same statement at this European Championship. Germany make the semis and put themselves in prime position to again compete for another major international trophy.

3-Unit Play. Belgium to win Euro 2016 (+1200)
No doubt hosts France are considered the out and out favorites of this tournament. But make no mistake about it, perhaps too much credit is being given to the host team before they prove it. And while I know teams like Germany and Spain are also on everyone's mind, we are going a bit left of field to make a statement. Belgium was looked at as a dark horse and potential surprise team two years ago in Brazil at the 2014 World Cup. Well, a perfect group stage got them into the knockout round. Belgium then advanced to the quarterfinals but eventually lost to would-be runners up Argentina. I'm high on them again at this tournament for all the right reasons. At the end of the day, talent rarely wins out as the lone component. But if we were to argue talent wise, the Belgians have as much talent as any team in Europe. They are young, they are motivated and more than anything this group of players want to prove they are just as good as any on the world's stage. The value is there on this bet and the talent will back it up. Play Belgium with these strong odds to win Euro 2016.

3-Unit Play. Take Belgium to reach the Quarterfinals (-137)
Same as the above, we are strong on Belgium to make their mark in Europe this summer. Don't consider this bet doubling down on our first bet. Instead this is an added incentive for us to cash with them as they advance in the tournament and not place as much pressure only to win it all or bust. Belgium reached the quarterfinals of the 2014 World Cup up against a much deeper field in a tougher environment in South America. Now playing in neighboring France with even more confidence, the same result, at the very least, is definitely achievable. Belgium to the quarterfinals at the very least.

1-Unit Play. Take Antoine Griezmann as Euro 2016 Top Goalscorer (+1000)
France are the favorite at Euro 2016, and Griezmann's efforts is a main reason why. This French winger bursted onto the scene at the 2014 World Cup when Franck Ribery was injured and ruled out. Griezmann started in his place and his been on a roll ever since. That includes the domestic league season he just completed in Spain with Atletico Madrid and his 32 goals scored in all competitions. We're looking for another value bet here, and I think this is it. Griezmann is playing with all-time confidence individually, and you combine that with him playing on home soil in this major tournament for what should be another coming out party for the young Frenchman.

Monday's Selection ...

For Monday, Raise the Bar 1500♦ is Tampa Bay with Archer over Arizona with Ray. At 8:30 am eastern time, the Rays are -125 both in Vegas and offshore. Note: Both listed pitchers must start, or NO action on this release.

One of tonight's starters is going to step up! Chris Archer is 0-3 with a 5.82 ERA the last 3 times he has taken the hill. Robby Ray isn't far behind at 0-2 with a 5.52 ERA for his last 3 starts.

I am going to lay the road wood here though, as Tampa has a little momentum coming into this series, as the Rays took the last 3 off of Minnesota over the weekend. Logan Morrison and Evan Longoria have been hitting the cover off the baseball, and I say they continue to do so in the series opener.

Arizona is fresh off a huge win at the Chicago Cubs in which they handed Jake Arrieta his first loss in quite some time! Still, the D-Backs have lost 9 of 13 overall, and I suspect they will come home for this one and be a little flat after such a big win over the Cubbies on Sunday.

Take the Rays here on Monday.

Note: Both listed pitchers must start, or NO action on this release.
