In fact, if we win our 7-unit nba selection today, we are in prime shape to post +$14,000 once again in combined nba/cbb as we have averaged the last years for a profit of +$42,000 between both sports (#1 USA). The last time these two temas met the final score was 65-62 with Canisius coming out on top and that will not be the pace of this game this time around. This will be a very high paced game for several reasons according to our models. For starters, Canisius is outside the top 290 in defense and faces a Manhattan team who not only has revenge but who comes off its lowest output of the season scoring 61 points against West Virginia as they were stifled. This is actually a decent offensive team but just ran into an amazing defense in West Virginia. Combine that with Canisius dropping 90 in their last game as this is a team that does have offensive fire power and could serve well as an underdog pushing the pace here. Don't be surprised to see this game likely go over the posted total as given the last time they met it went well under, Manhattan being stifled on offense the game before and Canisius being a top 100 team when it comes to 2 point field goals.

These two teams just played on Wednesday in Minnesota and hopefully this game will be as good as that one. The Knicks won a thriller 106-104 on a Melo jumper with 2.3 seconds left but both sides had a lot of good to take out of that game. It appears New York may shake up the starting lineup with Courtney Lee on the shelf for this one so look for Brandon Jennings and Justin Holiday to pick up the slack. Joakim Noah will also be out this evening and the way things are looking for the Knicks that is not a problem at all. They may have missed big time on Noah but that remains to be seen. The Wolves are a young hungry bunch with Karl Athony Towns and Andrew Wiggins leading the charge and this being their only trip to the Garden the fans should be out in full force.
