It’s been a disappointing season so far for both of these programs but Nebraska still has the more talented team. Nebraska has continually shot themselves in the foot this season as they have had 9 TO’s so far all have been Tanner Lee INT’s. This week two things happen that favor Nebraska and the first is tonight’s opponent. Illinois has not been able to slow down opposing offenses this year. Yes they beat W. Kentucky but there’s a huge difference in talent between Conference USA and the Big 10. They were life and death against MAC Conference foe Ball St winning 24-21 but were out gained by 125 yards. In their last game they faced S. Florida who put up 47 points and 680 yards of offense. The second thing that favors Nebraska tonight is playing on the road. There are a lot of rumors flying around in regards to the AD getting fired and how that might affect HC Mike Riley’s future. Getting away from the local media and playing on the road is the best thing for Nebraska this week. I expect a good effort from Nebraska here as My numbers have them Winning 31-17.
