3 Unit Play. Take #309 Marshall -2.5 over Middle Tennessee St (7:00p.m., Friday October 20 ESPN2)
Had Marshall last week and had no problem cashing against Old Dominion and Friday night the Thundering Herd will pick up another against the spread cover. Marshall comes to Floyd Stadium with a 5-1 record and an unbelievable 5-1 ATS record this year and last year Marshall beat the Blue Raiders 42-17. Middle Tennessee St is coming off a close road loss 25-23 and have won back-to-back home games but Florida International and Bowling Green and not Marshall. If Marshall can run the ball Friday night against the Blue Raiders defense I see them stealing this road game.

Point Spread: -1½/-105 Philadelphia

PinnacleSports

This game features the 0-2 Celtics at the 0-1 Sixers. I would never of guessed two things coming into this game 1 that the Celtics would be 0-2 and that the Sixers would be favored. Both teams are very talented Celtics even more so but I believe the Sixers will play out of their minds tonight as they have their first home game this season and some of the young stars will play that much better. Take the Sixers minus the spread for a 15* winner.

The Rams have a big edge on offense and will put up plenty on a fading New Mexico defense that allowed 38 in last weeks shout out loss to Fresno. The Rams have won and covered 8 of the last 10 here and are a solid 14-3 ats after scoring 40 or more and 9-1 ats in the last 10 conference games. The Lobos have failed to cover 20 of 28 after allowing 450 or more yards. Look for Colorado St to cover. Stephen Nover's MLB Playoff Game of the Year

Astors -131

The Yankees have been dominant at home going 19-3 in their last 22 games at Yankee Stadium. The Astros have been equally dominant at home winning 15 of their last 17 games at Minute Maid Park. This includes a 4-0 playoff record. This game is at Minute Maid Parik. The Yankees are 1-4 in their five playoff road games. Home field certainly means a lot here. But there are other factors why I'm so strong on the Astros in this game. The pitching matchup is Luis Severino versus Justin Verlander. Severino had a breakout season reaching his high ceiling. But he's largely untested in playoff, pressure games. Verlander is a proven pro. The former AL MVP is 10-5 with a 3.18 ERA all-time in postseason action. Verlander has been the absolute nuts since joining the Astros going 8-0 in eight sarts. He's been at his finest during the playoffs, too, going 3-0 with a 2.04 ERA. The Astros finished the regular season with the No. 1 offense in the majors. They are batting a puny .147 in this ALCS. Masahiro Tanaka has been a huge problem for them. Tanaka has held the Astros to two runs in 13 innings. But the Astros aren't facing Tanaka here. The Yankees not only lose their huge home field advantage, but also their momentum with Thursday's travel day. This also gives the Astros a much needed day to regroup. If the Yankees do indeed beat Verlander and the Astros here in Houston, they are most deserving of the American League pennant. I don't see that happening, though, in this Game 6.

Stephen Nover's NHL Friday Top of the Line

Sharks -110

It's not often a spot sets up better for the road team, but it does in this instance. San Jose is rested. This marks the Sharks' first road game of the season. They've enjoyed an extended homestand that ended with a 5-2 victory against Montreal on Tuesday. New Jersey beat Ottawa, 5-4, in overtime on the road last night. This is the Devils' third game in four nights. New Jersey has failed to win six of the past seven times it has played without rest. The Devils have been a major surprise opening the season with a 6-1 record after finishing 29th in the NHL last season with 28 victories. The Devils definitely are improved. They have some promising young talent. They've also been fortunate with four of their victories coming by one goal. The Sharks' Stanley Cup window probably has closed, but they still are a respected, veteran team that definitely is playoff-worthy. It remains to be seen if the Devils can keep up their surprising pace. The Devils are likely to have backup Keith Kinkaid in goal after regular netminder Cory Schneider suffered a lower-body injury last night. The Sharks have dominated this series winning seven of the past nine meetings. They are 5-0 in their last five visits to New Jersey.

Stephen Nover's NBA Friday Top Ticket

Jazz / Wolves Over 198.5 -105

There is too much star power here for these teams not to combine to break 200 points. Yes, Utah plays tough defense. But Minnesota doesn't. The Timberwolves ranked third-from-the-bottom in defensive field goal percentage last season. Adding Jeff Teague and Jamal Crawford isn't going to help their defense. But the Timberwolves do have plenty of offense with Teague, Crawford, Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler joining Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. The Jazz are down their two leading scorers from a year ago, Gordon Hayward and George Hill. Utah's new point guard, Ricky Rubio, is a former Timberwolf and is better for the Over than Hill was. Rubio will be motivated for a big performance as this is his first trip to Minnesota since being traded. The Jazz have balanced scoring and a strong bench to make up for Hayward. Alec Burks finally is healthy and contributed 16 points off the bench in just 15 minutes in Utah's 106-99 home win against the Nuggets two nights ago. Utah played at a quick pace during preseason when it averaged more than 112 points a game. The Jazz aren't so half-court inclined anymore with Quin Snyder.

Stephen Nover's NBA Friday Sweep

Magic +2 -105
Orlando actually looked impressive in holding off Miami during its opening game victory. That was the first time the Magic had won its season opener since 2012. The Magic really would like to build off that momentum. They have a great opportunity here in their second game. Brooklyn is even worse than Orlando and just lost sparkplug point guard Jeremy Lin. The Nets lost 39 of 46 games that Lin missed last season. It was extremely depressing for the Nets to see Lin ruputre the patella tendon in his right knee during their 140-131 season-opening loss to the Pacers. As you can tell by that score, the Nets still aren't playing any defense. Orlando has the better lineup with Elfrid Payton, Terrence Ross, Even Fournier, Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon, who is primed for a breakout season.

3-Unit Play. #914. Take Houston Astros -135 over the New York Yankees (Friday @ 8pm est)

Nice winner on the Dodgers on Friday and we are 10-4 over the last 14 Baseball Picks this Playoff Season. Verlander has been essentially unhittable and he is 8-0 over his last series of starts with under a 2 era. At the end of the day, this is the reason why Verlander was brought and he likely takes this team to Game 7 in Houston. Remember you have a Houston team that is desperate for a big win, with a big rowdy crowd and this team will likely take their entire frustration out on young Severino. It's hard for us to believe that this team will lay over and lose 4 straight with their ace on the mound back in Houston after the league's best offense fails to score more than few runs over their last 3 games. Let's roll with the better pitcher, who desperately wants a ring (similar to Kershaw yesterday) and consequently the Astros offense busts out and this game goes in favor of Houston relatively easily today as though it could be higher scoring than the first time these two pitchers met - look for the Astros to win this one when all is said and done today.

Sabres -146 | Canucks vs Sabres (Oct 20 '17, 7:05 PM)
Top Play I'm playing on BUFFALO (10* PERS FAV). I successfully played against the Canucks last night and I'm going right back against them tonight. The Sabres made a number of offseason moves and were hoping to get off to a strong start. It hasn't happened. They've played the majority of their games on the road though and this is arguably the weakest team that they've faced yet. Desperate to get back on track and catching the Canucks in a b2b situation, look for the Sabres to come through with a much-needed two points.

Astros - J. Verlander -R -137 | Yankees - L. Severino -R vs Astros - J. Verlander -R (Oct 20 '17, 8:00 PM)
Top Play I'm playing on HOUSTON (10* MAIN EVENT). I'm not writing the Astros off quite yet. Verlander was absolutely dominant last time out, striking out 13 in nine innings. While its not easy to face the same team twice in less than a week, I expect him to be up to the task. He's now 10-2 with a 2.36 ERA in 17 'home' games, his teams going 13-4. Note that Severino has a 5.56 ERA his last three. The Yankees are still 41-45 on the road while the Astros are 52-33 at home. Expect the Astros to bounce back and force a Game 7, moving to a lucrative 19-6 the last 25 times that they were off a shutout loss.

Indian Cowboy 6-Unit Play. #712. Take Brooklyn Nets -1 over Orlando Magic (Friday @ 7:35pm est)

Let's look to try to go start the Season 4-0 for +$2600. Take a moment and save money and join for the Entire Season as we have big goals for this year. The Orlando Magic got up to face the Miami Heat at home and won a big game. Now, they have Cleveland to look forward to next game but sandwiched in between is a dangerous Brooklyn Nets. Yes, the Nets. Remember, the Nets were a top 10 offense last year and right out of the gates they are the #2 offense in the league. Sure, it's been one game but keep in mind that this will likely be the case all season long as the Nets have an up and down pace that Kenny Atkinson loves with these guards and also note that the Nets lost to this team 107-115 last year and likely will step up with some revenge here. The Nets won some big games last year including beating Chicago, Philadelphia 141-118, Atlanta and Orlando 121-111. This team actually closed the year 4-4 and the Magic are 0-5 ATS following a straight up win and the Nets are 6-1 ATS following a straight up loss as well.

Eric SchroederToday's Winner:My 50 Dime Winner is on the MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES in their season home-opener against the Utah Jazz. And as I release this play at 4:50 a.m. pacific, I see the number is Minnesota -4.
My breakdown of this play...

Both of these teams have the new-look Oklahom City Thunder on deck, the Jazz hosting them tomorrow, and the T'Wolves visiting OKC on Sunday. Utah won its season-opener, while the 'Wolves lost theirs.

I love Minnesota tonight.

It's Friday, it's the home opener and I'm a big Jimmy Butler fan.

With the young corps this team has, and Butler in to lead the charge, I think Minnesota will be a force in the Northwest Division this season. There are plenty of reasons to be excited about this team, as there is more than Butler new to the Twin Cities.

Jeff Teague and Taj Gibson are also in town. There are new uniforms and a new court, too. All of this promotes a new attitude, one with confidence and motivation for coach Tom Thibodeau.

Tibbs' new components mix well with young stars Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins, so even though the Wolves lost to the Spurs, I think Minnesota is going to be just fine. I mean, it is San Antonio, right? Besides, the numbers weren't bad, with the wealth distributed handsomely: Wiggins led the team with 26 points, Towns had 18 points and 13 rebounds, and Butler finished with 12 points, four rebounds and three assists.

And lest we forget, Minnesota led the game by a point with five minutes left. The Spurs simply closed it out, like good teams do at home.

It's what I expect from the Timberwolves to do. They're a good team. They're at home. It's the home opener. And there are plenty of new reasons to celebrate. Take the host team tonight.

A quick note for tonight...

Nailed Oklahoma City, as I delivered another spot-on analysis, with the Carmelo-led Thunder denouncing the New York Knicks by 21. Easy winner.

I've won seven of the last nine days, and I'm making you all money, as my $1 bettors have made more than $4,100 over the past nine days.

Tonight I have my second NBA release of the season. Love this game with the Utah Jazz (1-0) visiting the Minnesota Timberwolves (0-1), in a Northwest clash.

Tommy Brunson60 Dime - NY Yankees - Severino vs. Verlander
TODAY'S RELEASE

My Friday release is a 60 Dime play on the NY Yankees with Severino over theHouston Astros with Verlander. At 7:00 am eastern time, the Yankees are +125. Both listed pitchers must start, or this is a no play.

TODAY'S ANALYSIS

I know the home team has won all 5 of the games played in this A.L.C.S., but tonight I think that trend comes to an end, as this Yankees team has that "feel" about them, and I see them figuring out Justin Verlander this time around.

New York had been stymied by Dallas Keuchel in pretty much every one of his career starts against them, yet the Yankees figured out a way to chase him from the contest on Wednesday night. The Yankees bats are clearly the hotter of the two teams in the bat racks right now, as the Astros offense has gone AWOL against New York pitching, scoring just 9 runs total in the 5 games played.

Keep in mind in the 2 games they did manage to win, the Astros could only score 2 runs apiece!

Luis Severino was sailing along prior to leaving his Game 2 assignment, but was lifted as a precaution when he was hit in the arm by a comebacker. Severino is the emerging "ace" on this New York staff, and tonight I like him to match pitches with veteran hurler Justin Verlander.

New York has their first series lead this postseason, and while they have won just one time on the road this October, that one win was over Cleveland in Game 5 against likely Cy Young Award Winner Corey Kluber.

Look for the Yankees to do it tonight.

Nashville1
10-20-2017, 03:07 PM
Jack BraymanTODAY'S WINNERTonight's Winner and Rating: 60 Dime New York Yankees

Line/Total: +130, as of 7:15 a.m. eastern.

Analysis: For months I've said Justin Verlander would be the saving grace for the Houston Astros, and ever since Hurricane Harvey, the team would ride the wave of momentum in a #HoustonStrong-esque way for the city.

Tonight, I'm saying the Yankees will end all that. I know they're 1-4 on the road and the Astros are 4-0 at home, but the one win the Yankees had in the postseason - a must-win in Cleveland. Tonight, it might as well be considered as a must-win, because New York does not want to go to Game 7 against this team.

And make note, when Verlander throws over 120 pitches, his next time out is sketchy. Behind a 124-pitch performance, Verlander fired a complete-game in Game 2 last Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk with 13 strikeouts in a close 2-1 victory. And since 2013, the right-hander has thrown more than 120 pitches on five occasions. In the following game he is 0-2 with three no-decisions and an ERA of 3.97.

Trust me, if the Yankees get to Houston's bullpen, it's lights out.

And are we all still ignoring that the No. 1 offense has been silent in this series? The Astros have mustered a mere nine runs and one home run in this series with a paltry batting average of .147. Five games, and Houston is batting one forty seven. Its slugging percentage: .213. That's two hundred thirteen. Overall, this team is hitting .239 in the playoffs. That's bad.

I'd rather side with the Yankees, who are boasting a .397 slugging percentage, have stroked 10 doubles and five home runs in the ALCS, because they're giving themselves a better chance at winning every time out in this series.

Take the road underdog tonight.

Let me finish by saying you do not have to list pitchers in this game, because I do not care one way or the other. I will mention both starting pitchers in this game, because they'll take the hill. But it is not imperative, end of story, and this play will stand regardless of who pitches for either team.

Nashville1

Joey JuiceFriday's Play50 Dime play on the Houston Astros over the N.Y. Yankees.
As I go live with my release at 8:00 am eastern time, the Astros with Verlander are -135 over the Yankees with Severino. Both of your listed pitchers must start, or there is no action on this release.

Analysis

So the question that gamblers have to ask themselves in this game is if they're going to bet with their emotion or their bankroll?

What an emotional comeback it's been for the Yankees.

They shut out the Astros 5-0 in Game Five, they have now won three straight, and will clinch tonight right? Wrong!

Believing in Miracles is one thing, but betting on them is a silly practice for gamblers.

A look inside the numbers tells you all you really need to know about betting this game.

The New York Yankees do not play well in Houston, they are 0-4 last 4 games in Houston.

The Houston Astros simply don't lose when Verlander's on the mound, they are 7-0 in Verlander’s last 7 starts. Houston is also one of the better home teams , especially when playing championship games, 7-1 last 8 League Championship home games. In fact Houston is perfect in their last four home playoff games, that's 4-0 in their last 4 home playoff games!

When you bet big games you bet on big game pitchers, and that's why you bet Verlander in a must win game 6 scenario, especially when he is having an incredible postseason. Just look at his last outing versus the same Yankees, he pitched a one-run complete game in game 2 of this series, and besides, since joining the Astros, he has an ERA of 1.39 in his eight outings.

So how good is Verlander? The combo of Judge, Gregorius and Sanchez went a mere 1 for 12 against him in Game Two. That means he is virtually unhittable.

Sorry Yankee fans if you're going to win this one it's going to have to be in Game 7 not Game 6.

Houston is the play.

Dom ChambersFriday play ...My 40 Dime play is on the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Florida Panthers. At 8:30 am eastern, the Penguins are -125 in Vegas and offshore.

ANALYSIS

Pittsburgh just beat Florida in the Steel City 6 days ago, skating to a 4-3 win over the Panthers.

Florida enters this home game now saddled with back-to-back losses, and they have lost each of the last 4 series meetings and 7 of 8 overall to Pittsburgh.

After opening the new season at 0-2, the new-look Penguins have found their footing with wins in their last pair of games and 4 of their last 5 overall.

Both teams have been off since Tuesday, so fatigue should not be a factor. To me, anytime I can get the defending Stanley Cup Champs at such a small price - even on the road - I have to back them.

Play on the Penguins as the small road favorite for Friday in Florida.

Anthony ReddFriday's Play60 Dime selection on the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders against the Marshall Thundering Herd. As I release this play at 6:10 am Pacific in Vegas, the line on Middle Tenn St is +2 1/2. If your line is between +2 1/2 and +4, I recommend buying up the 1/2 point insurance.

Trace AdamsFriday's Selection ...For Friday, Top-Rated 1000♦ is the Philadelphia 76ers minus the points at home against the Boston Celtics. At 9:00 am eastern time, the Sixers are -1 1/2 point favorites in Vegas and offshore.

Scored on Wednesday with Philly in the dog role, and I plan on scoring against with Philly tonight in their home opener.

Expectations for both Boston and Philadelphia were sky-high entering the season, but the Celtics had much wind sucked out of their sales with the season-ending injury to Gordon Hayward 5 minutes into the new season. As a result, Boston loses a close one in Cleveland, and they followed with a home opening loss to Milwaukee.

Plenty of new pieces for Brad Stevens to fit together, and while the C's will eventually right their ship, right now they are in a little bit of a flux situation.

The 76ers fought hard against one of the better Eastern Conference teams at Washington on Wednesday, and you can see there is plenty of upside on this young team that is healthy for the time being.

Philly only beat Boston once last year in 4 tries, but they covered in all 4. Expect things to be very loud tonight at the Wells Fargo Center, as the home team is providing a buzz not felt in the City of Brotherly Love in a long while.

Go ahead and lay the small wood with the Sixers.

Tonight's winner...

My 30 Dime NHL Winner is the BUFFALO SABRES tonight in their home game against the Vancouver Canucks. As of 6:15 am pacific, the number I see on this game is Buffalo -145.

NHL Breakdown

The STORYLINE in this game today - I personally watched the Buffalo Sabres this past week, here in Las Vegas against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Sabres did what they could to make things tough on the NHL's newest franchise, scoring three goals in less than 10 minutes, including a game-tying goal with 8.9 seconds left to force overtime. The Knights won - in a game I gave you - and now the Sabres return home with a dismal 1-6 mark. Tonight they get win No. 2.

The X-FACTOR in making this choice on this game - The key for me will be tired legs. The Vancouver Canucks will be playing their third road game in four days, and second in as many nights, after losing 6-3 in Boston last night. They're not going to be able to skate along with a hungry Buffalo team that has had two nights to get home, unwind, see their wives and girlfriends and prepare for a home game before hitting the road. Since winning the season-opener, Vancouver has lost four of five, and will struggle here.

BOTTOM LINE is - I can't believe we're heading into the fourth week of the season, and we're already talking about the trade deadline. But Evander Kane's name is already being brought up, and the Sabres need to take a serious look at their best player. He leads the team in goals and overall points, and is working harder than ever to push and motivate his teammates on the ice. The other night, after losing to Vegas, he made it known he was not happy with the lack of effort, saying "the disappointing part is we didn't play (hard) for 60 minutes. You can't wait 'til it's 3-1 or 4-1 to get grittier. It's frustrating because I know we can play like that. We've proven it, we've showed it." Tonight the Sabres will show it for all 60 minutes.

Al DeMarco - GMFRIDAY
20 DIME play on Colorado State at New Mexico. The Rams are -7 1/2 as of 9 am pacific. Go ahead and buy down the 1/2-point on Colorado State if your price is either -7 1/2 or -7.

After opening the Mountain West portion of its schedule with easy road wins at Hawaii (51-21) and Utah State (27-14), Colorado State returned to its new on-campus stadium for homecoming last Saturday and needed to rally from a 13-point deficit to escape with a 44-42 victory against a 1-5 Nevada team in a game where its fans were leaving with the outcome still in doubt.

Colorado State isn't Ram-tough when it comes to playing defense, but how a team that held Alabama to 41 in Tuscaloosa and Colorado to 17 in Denver allowed Nevada to ring up 42 on in Fort Collins is unfathomable. The good news is CSU won't be seeing the Wolfpack's Air Raid attack tonight in Albuquerque where the Lobos are having problems running the ball let alone thinking about the forward pass.

New Mexico returns home following a 38-0 loss at Fresno State last Saturday, a game in which its ground game managed only 109 yards on 37 carries and the offense as whole was 2-for-14 on third downs and 0-for-2 on fourth down tries. No surprise considering the Lobos have converted at a 27 percent clip on the season when trying to get a new set of downs.

Inconsistency has plagued New Mexico this season. This is a team that lost at Boise, 28-14, and got upset at home by New Mexico State, 30-28, but managed to outscore a defenseless Air Force squad at home, 56-38.

While the Lobos have struggled offensively, Colorado State has had no such problem with quarterback Nick Stevens (63.8 percent completions, 2,255 yards, 18 TDs) and wide receiver Michael Gallup (59 receptions, 16.1 yard per catch) powering one of the nation's most potent aerial attacks. The latter is coming off a 13-catch, 263-yard, 3-TD performance in the comeback win against Nevada.

What makes the Rams so tough to stop is the diversity because Dalyn Dawkins (career-high 195 yards vs. Nevada; 6.5 ypc on the season) and Izzy Matthews (4.8 ypc) have combined nearly 1100 yards rushing this season. They're a big reason Colorado State is ranked 4th in the nation in third down conversions.

The Rams, as stated earlier, had all kinds of problems stopping Nevada's Air Raid attack as the Wolfpack shredded their defense for 526 yards with 299 of them through the air. New Mexico is not going to have that type of success passing the ball so Mike Bobo's squad can sellout against the run in an effort to contain the Lobos' option attack. However, their best defense might actually be a sustained, time-consuming ground game of their own to keep New Mexico's offense on the sideline.

Colorado State scored its seventh straight win in the series last season by rolling 49-31 at home, a game where the Rams were up 32 before New Mexico scored a couple of late garbage-time TDs. They're on ATS rolls of 9-1 in conference play and 20-8 on the road.

7-Unit Play. Take #652 Calgary (-10) over Saskatchewan (9 p.m., Friday, October 20)

3-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 51.5 Saskatchewan at Calgary (9 p.m., Friday, October 20)
The Stamps won again last week making it eleven in a row for the best team in the CFL. Bo Levi Mitchell and his running mates are playing with a sense of purpose they may not have had last season. They had a very similar regular season last year but failed to play their best in the Grey Cup and lost to a hot Ottawa squad in a huge upset. This season they are playing the same way headed towards the postseason but will have that in the back of their mind each time they play. Mitchell is due to light up the Roughriders after throwing two picks last week and didn't play his best game. Saskatchewan is looking like a playoff team but will need to play better on both sides of the ball if they want to avoid being a one and done if they get there. Kevin Glenn looked great last week in a loss to Ottawa but has been up and down. This should be a well played game throughout but the Stamps are too much for most teams and this is no different. Calgary gets number 12 in a row 30-13.

5-Unit Play. Take #654 Toronto (-1.5) over Winnipeg (4 p.m., Saturday, October 21)

4-Unit Play. Take 'Over' 56 Winnipeg at Toronto (4 p.m., Saturday, October 21)

Toronto is 7-9 on the year but will be playing in the playoffs next month and still have a shot to win the division. Ricky Ray and the offense has been pretty solid all season (25.8 points per game) but their defense has rarely showed up this year giving up 25.9 points per game. This game will be a story of the two offenses on paper as Winnipeg lights up the scoreboard with an average of 31.7 points per game but the winner will be the team that can get a few stops. There should no lack of offense as all three meetings have gone over this season so expect a shootout. Toronto should do just enough to get the job done and even though the Bombers have trailed off a bit in the last two games offensively (39 points combined) they will be sharper in this one. Argo score late to win this one 40-34.
Best of luck - Strike Point Sports

7-Unit Play. Take #651-652 Saskatchewan/Calgary GAME TOTAL OVER 51.5 (Friday, October 20th at 9:00 PM ET)

Take Calgary/Saskatchewan GAME TOTAL OVER as my 7-Unit CFL Smash for Friday night. This pick falls into one of my top CFL systems and I have this game flying over the posted total Friday night. The Stamps have averaged 39.7 ppg at home this season, and the Riders have averaged 29.4 ppg in Divisional games this season. The Riders have alos allowed an average of 28.2 ppg in Divisional games this season and opponents have averaged 403.2 ypg against them on the road this season. Reading between the lines the last time these two teams met the final score was Calgary 15 Saskatchewan 9 and the posted total was set at 54 points, and now the posted total is 51.5. The first meeting between these teams this season the posted total was 55 points and there was just 37 total points put up in that game. Now the last two times these teams met when the posted total was 51 to 52 points there was a total of 61 points and 65 points put up for an average of 63 ppg. I fully expect a high scoring game here Friday night with two teams that have their offenses rolling. (Calgary 43.5 ppg last two games, and Saskatchewan 29.5 ppg last two games) Play the OVER as we make it 3 straight winning weeks in the CFL.

Marshall Head Coach Doc Holliday has done a fantastic job with Marshall this year with their only loss coming at N. Carolina St. Losing at NC St is expected but what I’m looking at is the fact that Marshall has won 4 in a row but look at the 4 teams they beat. Kent St, Cincinnati, Charlotte and Old Dominion are not exactly murder’s row. Cincinnati plays zero defense and the other 3 teams are 3 of the worst teams in the country. Marshall is a counterfeit 5-1 and I’m going to take advantage of it. In my opinion the wrong team is favored. Add in the fact that Middle Tennessee plays with revenge from last season as Marshall rolled them 42-17. It must be noted that Middle Tennessee St had 4 TO’s in that game that led to that loss. Throw out last week’s loss at UAB as Middle Tennessee St got caught looking ahead to a rare TV game at home on a Friday Night. My numbers have Middle Tennessee St winning 27-23.
