Astros at Dodgers 10/31/17 - World Series Game 6 - MLB Picks & Predictions by Eddie

Latest Odds : HOU -110 Total 8

The scene will shift to Dodger Stadium for Game Six of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night. On Sunday, Alex Bregman delivered a walk-off single that scored Derek Fisher to give the Astros an improbable 13-12 victory. Houston overcame deficits of 4-0 and 7-4 to rally for the win, which puts them one win away from their first World Series Championship in franchise history.

Thirty-four year old righty Justin Verlander (15-8 3.36 ERA) will take the mound for the Astros on Tuesday night. Houston has won each of Verlander’s previous five postseason appearances and he has allowed seven runs over 30 plus innings of work.

The Los Angeles Dodgers were unable to get the job done in Game Five and now must win consecutive games at home to rally to win this best-of-seven series. In Game Five, SP Clayton Kershaw was tagged for six runs in four plus innings and could not protect an early four-run lead. Cody Bellinger and Yasiel Puig homered in a game that featured seven home runs between the two teams.

The Dodgers will counter with thirty-seven year old southpaw Rich Hill (12-8 3.32 ERA) in Game Six. Through 13 innings this postseason, Hill has given up four runs and struck out 19 batters.
Recent Betting Trends:
Astros are 9-0 in Verlanders last 9 starts.
Dodgers are 5-1 in their last 6 home playoff games.
Over is 4-1 in Verlanders last 5 starts overall.
Under is 6-2-2 in Dodgers last 10 games overall.
Astros are 2-7 in the last 9 meetings in Los Angeles.
Free Betting Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers -110 (http://picksandparlays.net/index/odds/league/MLB/)
Los Angeles 1B Adrian Gonzalez (back) is not traveling with the team this postseason. Through 162 games, Houston ranked 1st in batting average and 1stro in runs scored. For the season, Los Angeles ranked 22nd in batting average and 12th in runs scored. This World Series has been wildly entertaining and it looks certain to be headed to a Game Seven. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Dodgers win 5-3.

Coyotes at Red Wings 10/31/17 - NHL Picks & Predictions by Adam

Latest Odds : DET -178 Total 5.5

The Coyotes dismal decline has continued on the year as the Coyotes have yet to win a game. This has really led to a lot of discontent in the Coyotes fan base, but also among the Coyotes players. The bad thing is the losing streak has started to have some people call for the coaches job, but also for some dramatic changes to be made as the Coyotes were not even projected to be in a rebuilding stage this season.

The Red Wings are in a new home arena and it shows that the Red Wings are still as resilient as ever. The Red Wings offense has been kind of mediocre on the season, but the defense has stepped up to the puck in most of the games they have been playing in this season, which has helped the Red Wings to an almost five hundred record.

The player in the last game that could be considered the Red Wings hero is Gustav Nyquist who tied the game for the Red Wings against the Panthers, but also put in the winning goal in the ensuing shootout.
Recent Betting Trends:
Coyotes are 26-58 in their last 84 vs. Eastern Conference.
Red Wings are 6-2 in their last 8 vs. Western Conference.
Over is 4-0-1 in Coyotes last 5 overall.
Over is 5-1-2 in Red Wings last 8 vs. Pacific.
Free Betting Pick: Detroit Red Wings -178 (http://picksandparlays.net/index/odds/league/NHL/)
The Coyotes are all over the place on the season and it is not going to help the Coyotes are playing in a very hostile Detroit arena. Look for the Red Wings to come into this game full of energy and able to really dismantle the weak Coyotes. Red Wings win it 3-1.

Jets at Wild 10/31/17 - NHL Picks & Predictions by Mike

Latest Odds : WIN -140 Total 6

The Winnipeg Jets (5 -3 - 2, 12pts) are on the road for what should be an exciting game against the Minnesota Wild (4 - 3 - 2, 10pts). Minnesota will be taking the ice to host this game at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Winnipeg is fresh off of a blow out win over Pittsburgh while Minnesota also just scored a win over Pittsburgh. Both teams should be well rested for their match up on the ice with a two-day break between games.

The Minnesota Wild are hitting the ice with a Top-10 offense that is averaging more than three goals per game. Minnesota has been leaning on a team effort in order to get their scoring in. Right winger Chris Stewart (6 goals, 2 assists) leads the team in points and goals right now so he should have the focus of the defensive. Minnesota will be without one of their better forwards, Zach Parise.

The Winnipeg Jets are coming off of their best win of the season thanks to a huge game from Blake Wheeler (4 goals, 8 assists). Wheeler pulled in a hat-trick against Pittsburgh and he'll look to keep his offense rolling. Winnipeg is 13th in the NHL in goals scored but they are in the back half of the NHL in goals allowed. Winnipeg will have to play a clean game defensively to score a win here.
Recent Betting Trends:
Jets are 4-0 in their last 4 after scoring 5 goals or more in their previous game.
Wild are 2-5 in their last 7 vs. Central.
Over is 8-3 in Jets last 11 games following a win.
Over is 5-2-1 in Wild last 8 when their opponent allows 2 goals or less in their previous game.
Free Betting Pick: Winnipeg Jets -140 (http://picksandparlays.net/index/odds/league/NHL/)
The Jets are really clicking right now and that is going to make a difference in this game. The destruction of the Penguins in the last outing by the Jets will definitely give the Jets the confidence the Jets need. We like Winnipeg to defeat Minnesota in this game, 4 - 3.

Golden Knights at Rangers 10/31/17 - NHL Picks & Predictions by Thomas

Latest Odds : NYR -181 Total NL

The Las Vegas Golden Knights have now won five straight games. Las Vegas is 8-1 on the season and will visit the New York Rangers on Tuesday. The Golden Knights beat the Avalanche 7-0 in their last games and are 2-0 on the road this season. Las Vegas averages 3.78 goals per game which ranks 3rd in the NHL.

Maxime Lagace will make his first start for the Las Vegas Golden Knights this season. Lagace With Fleury out and placed on injured reserve Vegas will need another goalie to get hot. The Golden Knights have allowed just 2.11 goals per game which ranks 2nd in the NHL.

The New York Rangers return home after losing 5-4 in Montreal on Saturday. The Rangers are 3-7-2 on the season and 8th in the Metro. New York is 3-4-2 on their home ice this season. The Rangers average 2.83 goals per game which ranks 21st in the NHL.

Henrik Lundqvist will take his spot between the pipes for the Rangers. Lundqvist is 2-4-2 on the season with one shutout. Lundqvist carries a 3.11 goals against average and a .900 save percentage with 26 goals allowed.
Recent Betting Trends:
Golden Knights are 5-0 in their last 5 overall.
Rangers are 30-12 in their last 42 vs. Pacific.
Over is 5-2 in Golden Knights last 7 overall.
Over is 5-1 in Rangers last 6 overall.
Free Betting Pick: Las Vegas Golden Knights +171 (http://picksandparlays.net/index/odds/league/NHL/)
The Golden Knights have some figuring out to do with their top goalie sidelined. Vegas has been solid on all parts of the ice this season while the Rangers have struggled. Look for Vegas and New York to have a close one but Vegas steals a win. The Golden Knights win 3-2.

Latest Odds : DET -4 Total 209

Lonzo Ball has lived up to the hype so far, but his team, the Lakers are still off to a 2-4 start. The Lakers host the somewhat surprising Pistons Tuesday, a team that is off to a 5-2 start and that includes a win at Golden State. The Pistons have now won three straight.

Kings at Pacers 10/31/17 - NBA Picks & Predictions by Eddie

Latest Odds : IND -5.5 Total 209.5

The Tuesday NBA schedule will tip off with a meeting between the Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers from Banker’s Life Fieldhouse. The Kings have dropped four straight games and are in last place in the Pacific Division. On Sunday, Sacramento was outscored by 17 points during the first quarter of an embarrassing 110-83 home loss versus Washington. The Kings shot just 6-for-22 from long range and 39 percent overall.

The Indiana Pacers dealt All-Star F Paul George to Oklahoma City in the offseason and could be an underrated team this season. The Pacers have split their first six games overall and rank 6th in scoring at 111.2 points per game. On Sunday, Victor Oladipo’s three pointer with ten seconds remaining lifted Indiana to a 97-94 home victory against San Antonio.

Oladipo finished with a team high 23 points on 7-for-14 shooting to go along with five assists. Domantas Sabonis contributed 22 points and 12 rebounds for the Pacers on the evening.

Free Betting Pick: Sacramento Kings +5.5 (http://picksandparlays.net/index/odds/league/NBA/)
Indiana F/C Myles Turner remains in the league’s concussion protocol and was forced to miss Sunday’s dramatic win. Despite their records, these two teams are very similar in statistical categories. Take Sacramento and the points on Tuesday. Final Score Prediction, Indiana Pacers win but fall short ATS 106-105.

Thunder at Bucks 10/31/17 - NBA Picks & Predictions by Eddie

Latest Odds : OKC -1.5 Total 211

In the first game of a Tuesday night doubleheader on NBA TV, the Oklahoma City Thunder will visit the Milwaukee Bucks. The Thunder have split their first six games overall, as they still attempt to integrate the Big Three of Carmelo Anthony, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook. On Saturday, Oklahoma City limited Chicago to just eight second quarter points during a 101-69 road triumph. The Thunder forced 20 turnovers and limited the Bulls to 28 percent from the field.

Carmelo Anthony tallied a game high 21 points on 7-for-16 from the field to go along with five rebounds. Russell Westbrook added 12 points, 13 assists, and 13 rebounds for the Thunder.

The Milwaukee Bucks have won four of their first six games overall and look like a possible contender for the Eastern Conference title. The Bucks are led by All-Star F Giannis Antetokounmpo, who leads the league in scoring at 34.7 points per game. On Sunday, Milwaukee raced out to a 12-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 117-106 road victory at Atlanta. The Bucks connected on 13-for-26 from long range and shot 54 percent overall.

Under is 7-2 in Thunders last 9 road games.
Under is 6-2 in Bucks last 8 home games.
Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in Milwaukee.
Free Betting Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder -1.5 (http://picksandparlays.net/index/odds/league/NBA/)
Milwaukee F/C Greg Monroe will miss the next two weeks with soreness in his left calf. The Thunder rank 3rd in the league in defensive efficiency and have Paul George to try to slow down the Greek Freak. Take Oklahoma City to win on the road. Final Score Prediction, Oklahoma City Thunder win and cover ATS 108-103.

POSSILICIOUS is my choice. Ought to be used in the exotic bets. This gelding has to be given consideration just off the earnings per start in dirt sprint races alone. With a reliable jockey who has won at a very strong 34 percent clip over the last month. This has to be one of the top choices. CHUBBY MASTER - With a formidable 80 average speed figure at the distance, seems well suited for today's race. Had one of the most favorable Equibase Speed Figures of this group in his last race. B E BOSTON STRONG - Looks competitive for the conditions of this affair today, showing solid numbers in dirt sprint races lately. Posted a very strong speed figure last time out.

# 1 LAISSEZ FAIRE 4/1

# 3 WIDE OPEN 6/1

# 2B MARLA DUNNIT 2/5

LAISSEZ FAIRE is my choice. She has quite good class ratings, averaging 56, and has to be given a chance in this race. Rodriguez has been hot the last month, winning at a nifty 15 percent rate. WIDE OPEN - With Houghton in the saddle guiding her, this filly ought to be able to break out early in this event. Always difficult to beat Gorham and Houghton working together, winning 17 percent of their races. MARLA DUNNIT - Should be carefully examined in here if only for the decent Equibase Speed Figure put up in the last affair. With a nice class fig average of 57, has one of the strongest class advantages in this group.

#9 HENNESSY STORM (ML=5/2)

HENNESSY STORM - Owns the highest speed figure on the turf at this distance. The August 16th affair at Del Mar was at a class level of (88). Dropping to a lower level considerably, so she should be in a good spot. When I handicap a race on the turf, I think sometimes class ratings are more important than speed figs. This horse has the highest average class in the entire field.

Vulnerable Contenders: #6 NOON (ML=3/1), #11 C J KNOWS BEST (ML=7/2), #4 PORT ELIZABETH (ML=4/1),

NOON - I just don't have a 'use' vibe about this steed in this clash. C J KNOWS BEST - Last performed on October 9th at Fresno, finishing fourth. Unlikely to get better off of that outing in today's event. Don't think this entrant will make an impact today. That last speed fig was somewhat easily forgotten when compared with today's Equibase class figure. PORT ELIZABETH - You always believe this animal has a shot to win, but she comes up short most of the time.

BLAMED - Ran irregularly on Sep 11th. Be leery this time out. LOVABLE LILLY - Hasn't been close to winning at all recently. BRANDY NIGHT - The finish of sixth in the last race shows me that this animal may be going out of form. In any race of 6 furlongs, I like to play a contender that has been looking good in short distance contests recently.

Top HatGUEST COMMENTARY: The Brain - IZE DISCREET ROSE - Trainer (Arnett) dropped this racer last race out, and keeps her at the same class today. Based on my data, this class suits her well.

My 1* Free Play is on the Milwaukee Bucks (8:00 EST).

The 3-3 OKC Thunder are in Milwaukee to take on the 4-2 Bucks and for a number of different reasons I think this one favors the home side.
This is the end of a three-game road trip for the Thunder, which always sets up as a natural “letdown” spot teams (in every sport.) Besides, Oklahoma City comes in off a satisfying 101-69 win over the Bulls on Saturday.
The Bucks come in on top form as well, they’ve won three of their last four, most recently a 117-106 victory at Atlanta on Sunday.
So far OKC is ranked 11th in scoring with an average of 106 PPG, while ranked fifth in scoring defense in conceding 96.5. Carmelo Anthony leads the nightly charge with 23.8 PPG, while Russell Westbrook has averaged 20.8 points, 9.8 boards and 12.2 assists per game. Paul George adds 19.5 points and 2.67 steals per game.
The Bucks are ranked 14th in scoring with 105.5 PPG, while ranked 15th in scoring defense in conceding 103.7. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 33 points, 11 rebounds and five assists to lead the team in its most recent win.
Milwaukee is also getting plenty of production from Malcolm Brogdon, who adds 15.8 points, while Khris Middleton chips in 17.2 points, plus 5.7 boards.
I’ll point out that as well that Oklahoma City is just 1-4 ATS in its last five following an ATS victory and only 1-4 ATS in its last five after allowing less than 75 points in its last game, while Milwaukee is interestingly 22-17 ATS in its last 39 against good offensive teams which score 106 plus points per contest.
I think OKC comes in flat-footed at the end of its road trip and I believe the opportunisitc home side will take advantage. Consider the Bucks in this matchup.
Good luck…Larry

NBA (503) PHOENIX SUNS VS (504) BROOKLYN NETS

Take: OVER

Reason: Your free play for Tuesday, October 31 is in the NBA scheduled contest between the Phoenix Suns and the Brooklyn Nets. The Phoenix Suns make the long trip East to play the Nets in Brooklyn. Always tougher on the West coast teams having to travel East. Especially for a team like Phoenix that is only 2-4 on the season and 0-2 on the road. Meanwhile, the Nets are 3-4 on the season and 3-1 at home. Suns coach Earl Watson didn't even make it four games into the season before being fired. Interim coach Jay Triano faced the loss guard Eric Bledsoe who just left the team. The Suns give up a ton of points and have gone OVER in five of their last seven road games and the OVER is 9-4 their last 13 overall. Should be lots of points in this contest. The total is high, but not high enough. Take the OVER.

The Kent State Golden Flashes are at home tonight vs. the Bowling Green Falcons, who are coming off a tough road loss to Northern Illinois 48-17, while the Golden Flashes were absolutely man-handled by Ohio 48-3 last time out.

Last season when these 2 teams met, Bowling Green crushed Kent State at home.

A look inside the numbers shows a distinct advantage for Bowling Green in this game. The Bowling Green Falcons always take care of business on the road against losing teams, they are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 road games against a team with a losing home record.

In fact, the road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these 2 teams.

The Kent State Golden Flashes are terrible at home, they are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games against a team with a losing road record.

Final Facts:

Kent State has the absolute worst offense in the Country. They average only 10 points per game (9 points in conference play), which ranks them 130th.

Bowling Green can actually score the ball, they are averaging 26.7 points in their four conference games thus far, and they were able to score 30 points against first-place Ohio earlier this month.

Bowling Green is your free winner.

Your Tuesday freebie is the Bowling Green Falcons.

It's that time of the year! MAC-tion on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, you know the deal.

Tonight we have two of the bottom feeders, as 1-7 Bowling Green visits 2-6 Kent State, and someone has to win!

My money will go out on the visiting Falcons who have won each of the past 4 series meetings, and have covered in 3 of those 4 victories. Not only that, but the road team is 4-1 against the spread the last 5 series meetings.

Bowling Green quarterback Jarret Doege has missed the last 3 games with a back injury, but is expected to be back for this MAC game tonight. If he cannot go, Loy and Morgan are well-versed on taking the snaps for the Falcons, and they do know how to put the pigskin in the end-zone, something the Golden Flashes have not done a lot of this season.

Bowling Green is averaging almost 27 points per game in conference action, while Kent State comes in with just 9 points per game averaged in their conference tilts.

Based on series trends, go with BG as the small road favorite to make it 5-0 straight up, and 4-1 against the spread versus Kent.

Preview: Astros at Dodgers

Oct 31, 2017

Justin Verlander was acquired to bolster Houston's starting pitching for a postseason run and the veteran right-hander has a chance to pitch the Astros to their first World Series title when he faces the host Los Angeles Dodgers in Tuesday's Game 6. Verlander received a no-decision in Game 2 and has never won a World Series game, going 0-3 with a 6.43 in four career starts with the Detroit Tigers and Houston.

The 34-year-old Verlander has more than done his job since joining the Astros - he is 9-0 with a 1.53 ERA in 10 total appearances (nine starts) - but fully understands one more big outing is needed. "These games are what it's all about," Verlander told reporters Monday. "These are the moments that you want to be a part of as a baseball player. It's everything you could ask for." Houston is in position to clinch after Sunday's 13-12, 10-inning victory, the second wild game of a World Series featuring a record 22 homers. "Obviously, we want to be the last team standing on the field, win the last game of the season, that's the goal," Los Angeles third baseman Justin Turner said at a press conference. "But you have literally the two best teams in baseball are going at it. It's the clash of the titans right now, and I don't think there's a single moment of this season that will be unforgettable."

TV: 8:20 p.m. ET, FOX

PITCHING MATCHUP: Astros RH Justin Verlander (4-0, 2.05 ERA) vs. Dodgers LH Rich Hill (0-0, 2.77)

Verlander gave up only two hits in his Game 2 outing at Dodger Stadium but both were homers (to Joc Pederson and Corey Seager) as he gave up three runs in six innings. Not having a World Series win might be the lone thing missing from a stellar career resume that includes 11 career postseason victories. "As soon as the postseason starts, you're living or dying on every single pitch, and your whole team is living or dying on every single pitch," Verlander said. "It changes everything."

Hill was the recipient of a quick hook from manager Dave Roberts despite giving up one run and three hits and striking out seven in four innings in Game 2. Roberts hinted that Hill will have a longer leash in Game 6 and the 37-year-old proclaims himself ready for the task. "It's something that all of us have been preparing our entire careers for," Hill told reporters. "Going out there in Game 6 and having the ability to be in that position, and go out there and leave everything on the field, is just an amazing thought."

WALK-OFFS

1. The previous World Series record for homers was 21 in 2002 when the then-Anaheim Angels prevailed over the San Francisco Giants in seven games.

2. Los Angeles 1B Cody Bellinger is on a 4-for-7 roll with one homer, one triple and two doubles after opening the World Series with 13 hitless at-bats.

3. Houston OF George Springer reached base five times (three walks, one single, one home run) in Game 5 and has gone deep three times in the series.

World Series Game 6 betting preview and odds: Astros at Dodgers

Justin Verlander received a no-decision in Game 2 and has never won a World Series game, going 0-3 with a 6.43 in four career starts with the Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros.

Houston Astros at Los Angeles Dodgers (-115, 7.5)

Astros lead series 3-2

Justin Verlander was acquired to bolster Houston's starting pitching for a postseason run and the veteran right-hander has a chance to pitch the Astros to their first World Series title when he faces the host Los Angeles Dodgers in Tuesday's Game 6. Verlander received a no-decision in Game 2 and has never won a World Series game, going 0-3 with a 6.43 in four career starts with the Detroit Tigers and Houston.

The 34-year-old Verlander has more than does his job since joining the Astros - he is 9-0 with a 1.53 ERA in 10 total appearances (nine starts) - but fully understands one more big outing is needed.

ET, FOX

LINE HISTORY: The moneyline for this critical Game 6 opened with the Dodgers as faily large home favorites at -125. Since opening last night the betting public has been on Verlander and the Astros, forcing books to drop the Dodgers down to the current number of -115. The total hit the betting boards at 7.5 and has yet to move.

WEATHER REPORT:

It should be another near perfect evening in Los Angeles.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Astros RH Justin Verlander (4-0, 2.05 ERA) vs. Dodgers LH Rich Hill (0-0, 2.77)

Verlander gave up just two hits in his Game 2 outing at Dodger Stadium but both were homers (to Joc Pederson and Corey Seager) as he gave up three runs in six innings. Not having a World Series win might be the lone thing missing from a stellar career resume that includes 11 career postseason victories. "As soon as the postseason starts, you're living or dying on every single pitch, and your whole team is living or dying on every single pitch," Verlander said. "It changes everything."

"It's something that all of us have been preparing our entire careers for," Hill told reporters. "Going out there in Game 6 and having the ability to be in that position, and go out there and leave everything on the field, is just an amazing thought."

UMPIRE REPORT: Dan Iassogna

Dan Iassogna gets the home plate assignment Tuesday night for Game 6. During the 2017 season, home teams are an astronomical 21-7 (including one playoff game) which equates to a home winning percentage of 75 percent. In games in which the home team is -101 to -120 they went a perfect 6-0 with Iassogna calling balls and strikes.

TRENDS:

* Astros are 9-0 in Verlander's nine starts since joining the team.
* Dodgers are 5-1 in their last 6 playoff home games.
* Dodgers are 5-1 in Hill's last 6 starts.
* Over is 6-1 in Astro's last 7 road games vs. a left-handed starter.
* Astros are 2-7 in the last 9 meetings in Los Angeles.

CONSENSUS: The public is siding with the red-hot Verlander in Game 6, with 51 percent of wagers on the Astros. With another hot pitcher on the mound, bettors like the Under here with 51 percent of the totals wagers picking below the posted number.

WALK OFF NOTES:

* Dodgers' 1B Cody Bellinger is on a 4-for-7 roll with one homer, one triple and two doubles after opening the World Series with 13 hitless at-bats. Astros' OF George Springer reached base five times (three walks, one single, one homer) in Game 5 and has gone deep three times in the series.

Preview: Kings at PacersGracenote
Oct 30, 2017

Victor Oladipo has began his tenure with Indiana as a potent scoring machine and looks to continue the production when the Pacers host the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday. The former college star at nearby Indiana University was the main piece acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Paul George trade and is averaging 25.5 points through his first six games.

Oladipo scored more than 20 points in five of the six games and he capped Sunday's 23-point effort with a game-winning 3-pointer to give Indiana a 97-94 win over the San Antonio Spurs. "Everything happens for a reason," Oladipo told reporters of returning to the state as a pro player. "I feel I belong here. I'm supposed to be here for a reason." The 25-year-old Oladipo seeks his fifth straight 20-point outing when the Pacers tussle with a Sacramento squad that has dropped four straight games. The Kings are beginning a three-game trip that includes visits to Boston and Detroit after being walloped 110-83 at home by the Washington Wizards on Sunday.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, NBCSN California (Sacramento), FSN Indiana

ABOUT THE KINGS (1-5): Sacramento was largely uncompetitive against the Wizards and dug itself a 63-32 halftime deficit in the embarrassing home defeat. "We missed a lot of shots," second-year forward Skal Labissiere told reporters afterward. "We shot some good shots, missed a lot, and games like that happen every once in a while. We're just going to have to move on from it." Point guard De'Aaron Fox made his first career start and it didn't go well as he had just two points on 1-of-8 shooting while the fifth overall pick is averaging 12.7 points and five assists.

ABOUT THE PACERS (3-3): Second-year forward Domantas Sabonis also was acquired in the George deal and he is making an impact by averaging 13 points and 10.2 rebounds. The 21-year-old was superb against the Spurs by scoring a career-high 22 points on 9-of-9 shooting and matched his career best of 12 rebounds for his fourth consecutive contest in double digits on the boards and he is emerging as a symbol for what the post-George Pacers stand by. "We're just trying to do it by committee," point guard Darren Collison told reporters. "We understand we have no All-Stars on this team. We have very good players on this team and if we have to do it by committee to win games, let's do it. There are teams that do it that way, and don't rely on one guy."

BUZZER BEATERS

1. The Pacers won last season's two meetings by an average of five points after losing the previous four matchups.

2. Sacramento PG George Hill (9.8 points) and PF Zach Randolph (9.3 points, seven rebounds) will be back in the lineup after being rested Sunday.

3. Indiana C Myles Turner (concussion, neck) will miss his sixth consecutive game.

PREDICTION: Pacers 109, Kings 97

Preview: Suns at NetsGracenote
Oct 30, 2017

The Phoenix Suns missed a chance to reach .500 and now look to avoid heading into a downward spiral when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. Phoenix lost to Portland in the opener of a five-game trip and visits to Washington, New York and San Antonio are on the horizon following the matchup with the Nets.

The Suns are adjusting to interim coach Jay Triano and won two straight games after his promotion before falling 114-107 to the Trail Blazers on Saturday. "I thought we played the right way," Triano told reporters. "I didn't think we finished our shots down the stretch, but we put ourselves in a position, on the road, to win a game. I give our guys a lot of credit." Brooklyn has suffered two straight defeats after Sunday's 124-111 home loss to the Denver Nuggets. Beating the Suns also ranks as high priority for the Nets as a five-game road trip follows Tuesday's contest.

TV: 7:30 p.m. ET, FSN Arizona-Plus (Phoenix), YES (Brooklyn)

ABOUT THE SUNS (2-4): Phoenix began the season in turmoil with three straight losses before the firing of coach Earl Watson and the banishment of guard Eric Bledsoe after he expressed he didn't want to remain with the club. The competitiveness has increased and the attitude has approved with the upfront Triano at the helm, and the club is also waiting on standout shooting guard Devin Booker to hit a sustained groove. Booker, who turned 21 on Monday, had his best scoring game (34 points) of the season against Portland for the 21st 30-point outing of his young career.

ABOUT THE NETS (3-4): Backup point guard Spencer Dinwiddie is displaying signs of being a solid contributor by scoring a career-high 22 points in two of the past three games. The 24-year-old Dinwiddie has picked up extra minutes lately with starter D'Angelo Russell dealing with a knee injury and he is averaging 11 points and 5.6 assists after having averages of 7.3 and 3.1, respectively, last season. Russell averaged just 21 minutes over the past two games and was 3-of-12 shooting while scoring 12 points against the Nuggets.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. The Nets won last season's two meetings by an average of 23 points and have taken the last four overall matchups.

2. Brooklyn F Quincy Acy (groin) will miss his second straight game while F DaMarre Carroll (ankle) is expected to play after a one-game absence.

3. Phoenix G Mike James is 3-of-18 shooting over the past two games.

Oct 30, 2017

Nobody is off to a better start than Giannis Antetokounmpo and the 22-year-old "Greek Freak" looks to continue his excellence when the Milwaukee Bucks host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday. Antetokounmpo leads the NBA with a 34.7 scoring average and has four double-doubles while shooting 63.1 percent from the field.

Antetokounmpo contributed 33 points and 11 rebounds in Sunday's 117-106 road win over the Atlanta Hawks to post his fifth 30-point outing of the season while early season MVP chatter revolves around his name. "To be honest it's really hard not to pay attention turning on the TV and seeing your face everywhere," Antetokounmpo told reporters after Sunday's win. "But I'm a low-profile guy and I want to stay like that because it's a long season. I've got to help my team win." Oklahoma City boasts the reigning MVP on its roster in Russell Westbrook and he became the first player in NBA history to post a triple-double against 29 different opponents when he had 12 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists in the Thunder's 101-69 rout of the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. "It's really his mentality that I have great respect for and an admiration that I love," Oklahoma City coach Billy Donovan told reporters. "He's an old-school, just bring it - he just has certain values in the way the game is supposed to be played from a competitive standpoint."

TV: 8 p.m. ET, NBATV, FSN Oklahoma, FSN Wisconsin (Milwaukee)

ABOUT THE THUNDER (3-3): Adding forwards Paul George and Carmelo Anthony to the mix has kept Oklahoma City in the chemistry developing mode but the new stars definitely have been amazed by Westbrook's level of competitiveness. "It's special. Man, that's a special player," George said after the victory over Chicago. "He's solidifying himself early as a Hall of Famer. It was crazy to see playing against him, and it's even crazier to see him doing it night in and night out being on his team. It's crazy. There's not a player that's been in this league that's been at his (effort) level." Westbrook is averaging 20.8 points, 12.2 assists and 9.8 rebounds while Anthony is averaging a team-best 23.8 points and George is at 19.5.

ABOUT THE BUCKS (4-2): Valuable backup center Greg Monroe will be sidelined at least two more weeks due to a left calf strain that he aggravated in Thursday's contest against the Boston Celtics. Monroe initially injured the calf in training camp and he was unavailable against the Hawks on Sunday, leading to Monday's decision to shut him down to give the injury a chance to heal. John Henson is in line for a primary role while Monroe is sidelined and he recorded season highs of 12 points and nine rebounds against Atlanta.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. The teams split two meetings last season with the Bucks prevailing 98-94 in the meeting in Milwaukee.

2. Milwaukee SG Khris Middleton posted season bests of 27 points and nine assists in the win over Atlanta.

3. Oklahoma City averages a league-best 11.5 steals per game with George accumulating a team-best 16.

PREDICTION: Thunder 114, Bucks 113

Preview: Pistons at LakersGracenote
Oct 30, 2017

The Detroit Pistons look to finish off a three-game California excursion with their fourth consecutive overall win when they visit the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. The Pistons posted a pair of eight-point victories over the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors and are enjoying a strong start to the campaign.

Sunday's 115-107 victory over the Warriors on the second night of a back-to-back was an impressive accomplishment for Detroit, which knocked down 12 3-pointers and connected on all 17 free-throw attempts. "It means a lot," forward Tobias Harris told reporters afterward. "Two games versus two very good teams. The morale in the locker room is great right now. We're embracing each other. We're enjoying it. We're having fun and that's the biggest thing." The Lakers aren't finding much enjoyment after back-to-back defeats, including setting a season low for points in Saturday's 96-81 road loss against the Utah Jazz. Los Angeles rookie point guard Lonzo Ball is experiencing more downs than ups while shooting 31.1 percent from the field and scoring in single digits in five of six games.

TV: 10:30 p.m. ET, NBATV, FSN Detroit, Spectrum SportsNet (Los Angeles)

ABOUT THE PISTONS (5-2): Coach Stan Van Gundy always keeps the pressure ratcheted up on his players and that remained the case while the club was celebrating its victory over the defending NBA champions. "It's great and I'm not downplaying it. These two wins are great but it truly is two of 82," Van Gundy told reporters, also referencing the win over the Clippers. "We're seven games into an 82-game season, 75 to go. These guys should be very, very happy (Sunday night). And then (Monday) you've got to start getting yourself ready to play again." Shooting guard Avery Bradley was certainly ready against the Warriors as he established season highs of 23 points and five 3-pointers during an effort that raised his average to 15.4.

ABOUT THE LAKERS (2-4): Ball is averaging 10 points, 7.7 assists and 7.5 rebounds but is an abysmal 10-of-41 shooting over the past four games. The No. 2 overall pick of the 2017 draft had more turnovers (five) than assists (four) while scoring nine points on 3-of-10 shooting against Utah as he and his teammates struggle to find their offensive flow. "We are still trying to find our identity," Ball told reporters after the Utah loss. "We are trying to run and some of the possessions are getting caught in the half court and we are just standing. So it comes with practice. We have to figure it out in practice and transition to the game."

BUZZER BEATERS

1. The Pistons have won the past three meetings after losing 12 of the previous 13.

2. Los Angeles C Brook Lopez has failed to reach double digits in three of the past four games.

3. Detroit C Andre Drummond has at least 12 rebounds in all seven games and is averaging 12.9 points and 14.4 boards.

PREDICTION: Pistons 103, Lakers 99

Preview: Golden Knights at RangersGracenote
Oct 31, 2017

The struggling New York Rangers may be on the verge of some major changes as they attempt to begin turning around their season Tuesday against the visiting Vegas Golden Knights. The Rangers battled back after an embarrassing first period before losing 5-4 at Montreal on Saturday and have won just three times in 12 games to start the season, putting coach Alain Vigneault squarely on the hot seat.

“There’s good energy in here when we go through our meetings, and there’s good talk,” New York captain Ryan McDonagh told reporters. “We’ve had the same lines and same ‘D’ pairs here for a few games, so that’s not an excuse. There is no excuse.” The Rangers are 2-2-2 over their last six contests but have not won back-to-back games all season and are near the bottom of the league in goals allowed (3.5) as they face the surprising Golden Knights, who have scored at least three in each of their last eight games. Vegas saw its five-game winning streak come to an end with a 6-3 setback at the New York Islanders on Monday and may have lost its third goaltender to injury thus far as Oscar Dansk left the contest with an apparent lower-body ailment. Rookie Alex Tuch and defenseman Colin Miller each recorded two points for the Golden Knights in the loss as they kicked off a six-game road trip.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, Sportsnet One, AT&T SportsNet-Rocky Mountain (Vegas), MSG (New York)

ABOUT THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS (8-2-0): Maxime Lagace made NHL debut when he came on for Dansk, allowing four goals on 11 shots, and Vegas might need to sign another netminder if Marc-Andre Fleury (concussion) is not ready to return. Tuch, the 18th overall pick in the 2014 draft by Minnesota who was acquired in the offseason, has recorded three goals and a pair of assists in six games since being recalled from the minors. James Neal has been kept off the scoresheet in three of his last four games but still leads the team in goals (seven) and points (10) while registering a plus-5 rating.

ABOUT THE RANGERS (3-7-2): Mika Zibanejad (seven goals, 10 points) and J.T. Miller (eight assists, 10 points) have had their moments in the first 12 games, but many of the team's other key players have gotten off to slow starts. Rick Nash leads the club in shots (45) while managing just two goals, Jimmy Vesey has scored once, McDonagh is not making a major impact on a struggling blue line and Mats Zuccarello owns a minus-9 rating in the early going while netting only two tallies. Defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk, New York's big offseason acquisition, has registered nine points but is minus-7.

OVERTIME

1. Vegas C Oscar Lindberg, who spent parts of the previous three seasons with the Rangers, has recorded four goals and a plus-3 rating.

2. New York RW Pavel Buchnevich has posted three goals, an assist and a plus-4 rating in his last three games.

3. The Golden Knights are 7-for-23 on the power play over their last five games after going 1-for-21 in the first five contests.

Preview: Coyotes at Red WingsGracenote
Oct 31, 2017

It took nearly a month, but the Arizona Coyotes finally are in the win column thanks to Monday's 4-3 overtime triumph in Philadelphia. The Coyotes attempt to make it two victories in as many nights when they conclude their five-game road trip Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings.

Arizona earned just one point over its first 11 games of the season before defenseman Alex Goligoski scored at 4:45 of the extra session on Monday after the club squandered a 3-0 lead. Detroit's offensive struggles continued Saturday, when it posted a 3-2 shootout victory at Florida to wrap up a 1-2-0 road trip. The contest was the fourth straight in which the Red Wings scored fewer than three goals and seventh in a row in which they failed to reach four tallies. Gustav Nyquist netted the tying goal midway through the second period and the lone tally in the bonus format for Detroit, which halted its six-game winless streak (0-5-1) but enters Tuesday 0-2-1 in its last three at home.

TV: 7:30 p.m. ET, FSN Arizona, FSN Detroit

ABOUT THE COYOTES (1-10-1): Arizona wasted little time getting Scott Wedgewood into the goaltending mix, starting him against the Flyers after acquiring the netminder from New Jersey on Saturday. The 25-year-old Wedgewood made 28 saves en route to victory in his first NHL appearance since March 27, 2016 at Carolina while with the Devils. The Coyotes, who avoided the all-time record for consecutive losses to start a season, earned Rick Tocchet his initial win as the team's coach and his first in the NHL since 2009-10 with Tampa Bay.

ABOUT THE RED WINGS (5-6-1): Detroit needs to play more disciplined, as it enters Tuesday tied with Pittsburgh and Nashville for most times short-handed at 53. The biggest violator is Dylan Larkin, who leads the league with nine minor penalties - seven shy of his total for the entire 2016-17 season. Defenseman Mike Green leads the team in scoring with 11 points but has been kept off the scoresheet in three straight contests.

OVERTIME

1. Coyotes rookie C Clayton Keller leads the team with 13 points and enters Tuesday with a six-game streak during which he has collected five goals and four assists.

2. Detroit has won 12 consecutive shootouts, a streak that began on Feb. 23, 2016 against Columbus.

3. Arizona D Niklas Hjalmarsson notched two assists Monday but exited the game in the third period after being hit in the face with a stick.

Preview: Jets at WildGracenote
Oct 30, 2017

The Winnipeg Jets have been soaring out of the blocks this season, putting their opponents on the defensive by outscoring them 16-8 in the first period. The Jets hope the momentum of a franchise-best five-goal opening session in their last game travels well on Tuesday as they visit the Central Division-rival Minnesota Wild.

Blake Wheeler recorded his second career hat trick in a span of 4:20 in the first period and notched his fourth four-point performance in the NHL with an assist in the third of Sunday's 7-1 romp over Pittsburgh. The 31-year-old Minnesota native netted the game-winning goal in the third period of Winnipeg's 4-3 win over the Wild at Bell MTS Place on Oct. 20 and had two tallies and three assists in five encounters last season versus Minnesota. While Winnipeg pounded the Penguins, the Wild slipped past the defending Stanley Cup champions 2-1 on Saturday for their second straight win on the heels of losses in five of their previous seven. Captain Mikko Koivu, who netted the game-winning goal in the third period versus Pittsburgh, also tallied in the first encounter this season against the Jets and had four points (one goal, three assists) in the 2016-17 season series.

TV: 8 p.m. ET, TSN3 (Winnipeg), FSN North (Minnesota)

ABOUT THE JETS (5-3-2): Mark Scheifele answered being held off the scoresheet in his previous two contests with a goal and two assists versus Pittsburgh for his third multi-point performance of the season. The 24-year-old, who notched a pair of assists in the first encounter against the Wild, set up Wheeler's first two goals on Sunday - with the latter igniting a stretch that saw Winnipeg set a franchise record for the fastest three tallies in a game by accomplishing the feat in 34 seconds. The offensive surge is certainly welcome by Connor Hellebuyck (5-0-1, 2.05 goals-against average, .937 save percentage), who has been in net for all five of his team's wins this season and improved to 3-1-0 with one shutout in his career versus Minnesota following a 24-save performance in the first encounter.

ABOUT THE WILD (4-3-2): Devan Dubnyk is starting to put his early-season troubles behind him, yielding just one goal in two of his last three outings as Minnesota improved to 2-1-0 on its season-high six-game homestand. The 31-year-old Saskatchewan native wasn't as fortunate after permitting all four tallies in the first encounter with Winnipeg to drop to 7-8-1 in his career versus the franchise. Eric Staal has been consistent against the Jets' franchise, collecting 61 points (26 goals, 35 assists) in 69 career matches.

OVERTIME

1. Minnesota RW Nino Niederreiter, who practiced alongside Staal on Monday, will be a game-time decision versus Winnipeg after being sidelined six games with a high-ankle sprain.

2. Jets F Kyle Connor has four points (one goal, three assists) in his last five contests.

3. The Wild are 0-for-11 on the power play in the last three games after converting six times with the man advantage in the previous five.

PREDICTION: Wild 4, Jets 3

Now about this complimentary winner

Last night I nailed the Over in the Golden Knights-Islanders hockey game, and tonight I am in the NBA looking for the same result between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Milwaukee Bucks.

What we have tonight is a clash of early-season candidates for MVP.

Russell Westbrook and the Thunder against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks at the Bradley Center.

And it'll be quite a show.

Antetokounmpo - the Greek Freak - has dominated through Milwaukee's first six games this season, averaging a league-leading 34.7 points with 10.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. He's stormed the highlight reel nightly, and has some critics thrusting him into "best player in the league chat."

Westbrook, the reigning MVP, is in after a big game, as he registered his third triple-double of the season - scoring 12 points, grabbing 13 rebounds and dishing 13 assists - during a 101-69 demolition of the Bulls on Saturday in Chicago.

The Bucks (4-2) and Thunder (3-3) have been competitive in past years, including last season, when they split their series. Look for a shootout tonight, with the MVP candidates leading the charge.

Maybe there really is something to the slickness of the baseballs they are using in this year's World Series, as the runs have really started to add up through the first five games contested.

Sunday was one for the record-books, as the Dodgers and Astros combined for 25 runs in 10 innings of pure entertainment as the Over was easy money. For the record, the Over/Under is 2-2-1 in this year's series.

Let's play the Over again here on Tuesday when Justin Verlander and Rich Hill take the "slick" pearl to the mound. This is a Game Two pitching rematch, a game that Houston won 7-6 in 11 innings of play.

Right now both teams bullpens are gassed, and right now the hitters have seen exactly what each reliever has in their repertoire. The advantage rests with the hitters here on Tuesday.

Game Six Over the total.

My free play for Tuesday is going to be the Under in Game 6 of the World Series, as the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers resume play at Dodger Stadium.

IMPORTANT: As you know every single Run Line play and Total wager will automatically list the scheduled starting pitchers at the time of the wager, and I want you to be sure the following pitchers are the registered starters on your ticket when making your wager: Rich Hill and Justin Verlander. If one or both of these pitchers is not going, this is a no-play.

Let's start with Verlander, who has been lights out since arriving to Houston, from Motown. The veteran right-hander will pitch for his first-ever World Series title in Game 6, and I think he will be spot on.

Verlander, who's 4-0 with a 2.05 ERA in five games (four starts) this postseason, allowed three runs on two home runs in six innings in Game 2. He's 9-0 with a 1.53 ERA in 10 games (nine starts) since joining Houston.

On the other hand, we have Hill, who allowed just one run on three hits, walking three and striking out seven over four innings in Game 2. Overall this postseason, he's posted a 2.77 ERA (four earned runs in 13 innings), with seven walks and 19 strikeouts.

Look for a pitchers' duel in this one.

4* UNDER Astros/Dodgers

My free winner for tonight is on the New York Rangers Puck Line over the Vegas Golden Knights.

So I'm doing a sports-betting radio show last night, and as we're talking, I see Golden Knights goalie Oscar Dansk go down. Couldn't believe it. And now Vegas, fresh into its inaugural season, is down to its fourth string goalie.

I made the joke on the air that sports books should put a prop bet up asking which team will have more of: Golden Knights goalies or Cleveland Browns quarterbacks?

It's not pretty right now for the Golden Knights, as they're playing on the East coast for the first time, and coming off just their second loss of the season. They're down to goalie four, and now they enter a venue that can be extremely overwhelming: Madison Square Garden.

On the second of back-to-back nights, after getting hammered by the New York Islanders, 6-3, and looking lackluster once the game got out of hand, I think Vegas struggles against a desperate Rangers team that will take advantage of the vulnerable Golden Knights.

The Jets won when these teams faced each other at Winnipeg, on 10/20. With this evening's rematch being played south of the border, where the the Wild have long been much better, Minnesota figures to have the advantage. The Wild won both meetings here last season, a 4-3 win in October and a 3-1 victory in November. They outshot the Jets by 31-17 and 26-16 margins in those games. In each case, they were laying roughly -165 against the money-line. Tonight's price is far more reasonable and I feel that's providing fair value. Consider revenge-minded Minnesota.

The Wild open at a nice price on Tuesday and are worthy of a small move here.

Minnesota has played much better lately, winning back to back games and looking like the team they are expected to be this season.

The Wild are leaning on this impressive offense, that carried them so much last season to success. Minnesota is putting up 3.33 goals per game and this team is at their best when they play with pace.

This is the perfect matchup for them as they take on a Jets team that is one of the worst defensive teams.

Some trends to note. Wild are 10-3 in their last 13 when their opponent scores 5 goals or more in their previous game.Wild are 17-6 in their last 23 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.

Given the matchup against this defense, this price is nice.

Back Minnesota.

Good Luck, Razor Ray.

Just a little correction in my video I said the Bucks were playing the Pistons I miss spoke I love them over the Thunder tonight at home the Bucks are receiving very little respect from the books giving us excellent value in the home Bucks. Until the books catch up anytime they are getting plus points against an average team I will be all over it. Invest 9 units in the Bucks tonight and enjoy my free investment. (Grab a 3 day pass just 99.99 as I am now 11-3 79% in the NBA for the season)

10* FREE MLB PICK (Astros +113)
This has been an entertaining World Series, but I don't see it going to a Game 7, as I have the Astros winning Game 6 in LA tonight. The thing that made the Dodgers so great was their bullpen, but it's been used and abused in this series. I see that as a big time problem here with Rich Hill on the mound. Hill has pitched great, but his longest start in the postseason is 5 innings. On the other side of this you have a true gamer in Justin Verlander, who was even better than the numbers in Game 2. He allowed 3 runs in 6 innings, but only allowed 2 hits, which both just so happened to be homers. I look for Verlander to deliver a gem and Houston's offense to do just enough to pull out the victory. Give me the Astros +113!

The Phoenix Suns have been a completely different team since firing Earl Watson and sending Eric Bledsoe home. They have come together as a team while going 2-1 SU & 3-0 ATS in their last three games. They beat the Kings 117-115 and the Jazz 97-88 at home, while only losing 107-114 in Portland as 12-point dogs. Now they are catching 5 points on the road to the Brooklyn Nets, a team that is on their level. The Nets have lost by 21 in New York and by 13 at home to the Nuggets in their last two games. They have injury issues right now with Jeremy Lin and Quincy Lacy out, and DeMarre Carroll questionable. I'll ride the hot hand here in Phoenix and fade the cold one in Brooklyn. Give me the Suns.

NHL | Coyotes vs Red Wings
Play on: OVER 6 +100

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach Free Pick NHL Tuesday OVER the total in Detroit Red Wings vs Arizona Coyotes @ 7:35 ET - The Coyotes gave up 2 goals in the final minute yesterday to result in overtime as Arizona hung on for a 4-3 win. That said, last night's game arguably should not have gone over the total. However, I am coming right back with an Arizona OVER tonight on Tuesday as the fact is the Coyotes goaltending situation continues to be an issue. Between injuries and ineffectiveness, Arizona's play between the pipes has been a major issue and, after final getting a solid start from Scott Wedgewood last night (at least for the first 59 minutes), a back to back situation for the Coyotes will not help matters. Arizona is 9-2-1 to the over this season. Detroit brings an "under streak" of 4 games into this one but the Red Wings also have lost 6 of their last 7 games! That said, the emphasis for Detroit is on getting improved play and consistency from all 4 lines. Their forwards just haven't been getting the job done and that is why the Red Wings have averaged only 2 goals per game in their last 7 games. Detroit will happily take advantage of a Coyotes team that just won their first game of the season last night and simply can't keep the puck out of their own net so far this season. The Red Wings have scored 9 goals in their last two match-ups with Arizona and they're anxious to get rolling again tonight. Detroit is 4-1 to the over in non-conference games this season and they've had just 26 unders in 69 games when coming off of a divisional game. Arizona is 6-0 to the over in non-conference games this season. Free Pick on OVER the total in Detroit EARLY Tuesday evening.

Dave's Tuesday Free Play:

1* on Bowling Green -2.5

The Key: This is a battle between MAC bottom feeders Bowling Green and Kent State Tuesday night. The Falcons are 1-7, while the Golden Flashes are 2-6. But despite having the worse record, I have no doubt the Falcons are the better team here, and only having to lay -2.5 with this is a generous price. The Falcons have been the more competitive team this season. Kent State's two wins came against Howard 38-31 and Miami Ohio 17-14 both at home, and Miami was without Gus Ragland. Bowling Green beat Miami Ohio 37-29 on the road. And common opponents favors the Falcons as they are only getting outscored by 13.7 points per game against them, while Kent State is getting outscored by 20.0 points per game against the same three opponents that Bowling Green has faced. The Falcons are 31-12 ATS in their last 43 road games when playing against a team with a losing record. The Golden Flashes are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 home games. Kent State is 1-12 ATS in its last 12 home games vs. teams who give up 200 or more rushing yards per game. Bowling Green is 9-1 ATS in its last 10 road games off a blowout loss by 21 points or more to a conference opponent. Take Bowling Green.

I realize both teams can score the ball here, but this total is just set too high. This is the highest total either team has had so far this season.
For the Suns this will be their 3rd road game and even though they like to get out and run they are averaging below 100 points per game on the road. The Nets right now even though putting up points their only shooting right at 40% for their last 4 games. In order for both teams to get above 231 you have to make a high percentage.

Free pick on Nets -
I like the value here with Brooklyn as a short home favorite against the Suns on Tuesday. The Nets come in off a couple of ugly losses to the Knicks and Nuggets, but I think those were a result of the letdown that came from their big win at home over the Cavaliers. I expect a much better effort here than the last two and the Suns are a team they can certainly get right against.
Phoenix has played better since the parted ways with Earl Watson, but most teams play well for a short stretch after a coaching change. The two wins under interim head coach Jay Triano both came at home. They lost at Portland by 7 to start out a 5-game road trip and I think they come out flat here, as the Nets aren't a team you get pumped up to play.
Suns are also a great fade when they are rested, as they are just 4-15 ATS in their last 19 when playing with 2 days of rest. They are also just 1-9 ATS in their last 10 road games where they come in off a loss but covered as an underdog. Take Brooklyn!
